Beautiful and quiet during the week. Lanikai beach is often chosen for photo shoots due to its location and sun light, great water colours. Awesome view from the hilltop behind the beach, short hike / climb away. There are no directly located car parking possibilities, due to strict local restrictions, hence leave your car in designated location. Avoid weekends.

The most epic sunrise that I’ve seen in my life. Tulum, Mexico is now on the second place in my heart. The vibe was so calm. Just some locals and yogis on the beach. You definitely has to have this experience. It’s around 30 minutes with car from Waikiki. It worth to get up so early.

A hidden gem! No bathroom or showers. Have to park on residential streets. Totally worth the effort. My favorite beach on the island.

Beautiful and pristine stretch with gorgeous mountaneous views in the background. Parking is inadequate and so you must go early. Many private homes and parking is restricted in most areas surrounding private residences. That being said, it's one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.

One of my favorite beaches on island. Hella relaxing and quiet spot. Best place to kick back and enjoy the sound of the ocean or read a book or just watch the scenery. Recommend

Having stayed here in Lanikai, access to the beach was not an issue. For those driving here, parking is an issue and private property owners have "no parking" signs posted by most homes. Lanikai beach is a beautiful place, generally calm, and nice sand. I enjoyed snorkeling off the beach and saw some interesting marine life. Canoes and kayaks are very popular, people often paddle out to the islands or see the reef further out from the beach.

What to say about the worlds most beautiful beach ? It’s like taking a hallucinogen and stepping into a panoramic photo. Simply unreal. Also I was married here in 2003. Memories !

This is probably my family's favorite beach here on Oahu. Parking can be a real pain, but it's always worth it. The sand is so soft and the water is so beautiful. Snorkeling is great especially if there's not many people there. Loads of interesting coral and fish. Room enough for everyone, the beach goes on forever. No showers or bathrooms though. Please be respectful to the residents.

This is quite possibly the most beautiful beach in Hawai’i. Very flat and easy to walk. It is not a long beach nor is it very far to the water from the houses lining the beach. Watch the rogue waves that will come further in without warning and soak or carry away your belongings. This is true for most beaches in Hawai’i. Parking is prohibited in the neighborhood surrounding Lanai Kai Beach until 1/31/2022. It is limited anyway. You may have to park at the last beach before you cross the bridge, I think it’s Kailua Beach Park. There are multiple beach accesses throughout the neighborhood. No bathrooms or facilities at all!!!Please leave this beach as clean as you find it, as it is definitely worth preserving.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Just be aware that there didn't appear to be any bathrooms or showers. However, well worth it otherwise.

Incredible beach. Doesn't have stuff. (Places to buy nothing). Isn't easy parking. But it's amazing to take pictures. Water is warm! I loved!

Parking is a pain, and likely will need to park somewhere on the residential streets, expect a bit of walking. But this place is beautiful, water is warm.

One of the best beaches in Oahu. Parking can be tough. Soft sand and okay snorkeling. Bring food. No restrooms or hoses to rinse off. The view is priceless

I can see why this beach is so popular, calm waters clear blue and powdery sand. Very little shade and no waves if that is your thing. Parking is also a huge pain.

One of the best beaches on the island for endless white sand and the moks in the background are picturesque. Street parking is nearly impossible, and I feel bad for the local residents. Also, there are no services here.

Huge white sanded beach , clear blue water , live corrals ( great place for snorkeling) , not crowded on weekdays. Best place on Earth if you like virgin beaches like me ( meaning - no amenities , no picnic area ,) Bring your own towels , chairs and umbrellas .

Great views, great waters, weekends are crazy packs, and it is very difficult to find parking in those days going earlier. It will help in securing a parking spot, and the traveling light is recommended as it's difficult to find room on the beach on a busy weekend or holiday. There's no public restrooms or rinsing areas.

Lanikai Beach is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii. The sand is incredibly fine and the views of the Twin Islands are enchanting. However, there are also nasty jellyfish that you should not come into contact with.

Always love going here it's absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the parking is way too far since the nearby residents no longer want anyone to park near their houses

This is a very beautiful on the windward side of Oahu. For me it doesn't get five stars because it lacks a public shower. It's a perfect beach to take your family because there are no waves here. It's not known for snorkeling but there is enough coral reef where you could see wildlife. Great place to watch sunrise.

Love this beach. Never super busy. Parking is a bit tricky but it is worth it. Beach doesn't have a bathroom so make sure to go before you go. Sand is like powder sugar. Water is great for snorkeling.

Great beach to picnic and snorkel at. There’s a decent amount of parking, showers and restrooms available. Soft sand beach and low waves.

Very small and quickly crowded, this pristine beach overlooks the Mokulua Islands. Perfect for sunrises, moonrises, and picnics with snorkeling.

Great beach, great views, soft sand. All you could ask for. Depending on when you go the waves can be a bit intense for keiki. Inside the water it's more tiny rocks than sand so clean out your suit in the water or you'll come home with a pants load.

Beautiful! Could spend several hours here. Great beach for little kids.

  • 5/5 Heather F. 3 years ago on Google
This is such a beautiful beach. It's more of a locals beach since it's tucked away behind a bunch of houses. The views here where some of the best we've seen other than Diamond Head of course. The waves break way out there so you can swim around there pretty easily which was good for the kids. There is a younger crowd here but if you're looking for a good time this beach has it.

This like every other beach I experience on Oahu was phenomenal. Basically clean restrooms and or changing rooms beaches were clean free of debris most of the people were social distancing and masking up awesome job y'all. Views of The ocean from this beach were spectacular would recommend going to it any time of the year. I did not feel disrespected or unwelcome by any local which is huge thank you locals for making me feel like I belong.

We were here on a Sunday and it is a bit crowded, no wonder why. This place is very nice to spend the day. Down side is there are little trees so if you want to sit in a shade, bring an umbrella. Very fine white sand, corral riffs and fish.

Public beach and good for surf learner. But parking needs time to find around.

(Translated by Google) The sea like soda water and the smooth white sand. There is no parking lot that seems to be a parking lot, but you can access it on foot from the parking lot of Kyleua Beach, so please visit Ranikai. Kailua Beach is great, but you can enjoy the miraculous beaches that go a few steps above it.

Would be awesome but the water was too salty, the sand was too grainy, and the wind was way too windy. Not what I was expecting, especially after hearing such great things.

Breathtaking Beach with sand that feels like your walking on a clouds and some of the bluest waters but this side of the beach can get cloudy, rainy and windy often.
