I'd give this place ten stars if I could. Very fast service very friendlynot upscale it always sit at a picnic table and enjoy a large meal for very good price. I ate her the second day I was in Hawaii and came here every day after that for breakfast. Love you guys great job and thanks for all the happiness eating

Favorite go to spot for all the right kine grinds. If your on the go stop and get there chicken katsu Musubi. Also there barbecue Chicken one too.. Perfect for a busy on the go mom.

By far the best L&L on the Island. Have never, ever have had any bad experience at this location. Qualify, Food and Customer serves that Dr. Edward Deming could not improve.

Good BBQ short ribs. Good mac salad. OK fries. The hamburger though is truly disgusting. The meat was like not even normal ground beef. The bun was right out of the bag and also had a nasty texture. Totally inedible. It was the single worst burger I have ever tasted in my life. My daughter was worried that she swallowed a bite of it in fear of becoming sick. Just no.

Made a pick up order for a mini chicken katsu, quick and easy pick up. Recommend if you're looking for something quick and not super expensive.

Your standard L&L quick service experience. Tons of food, friendly service, and everything tasted great. The whole family loved everything they had. Fun to compare a hawaiian fast food joint with a sit down really good spot like Da Ono over in Honolulu. Still good food, but a different experience. Try them both!

We were very hungry when we stopped by this place and it did not disappoint. The food was so yummy and the prices were reasonable as well. Highly recommend grabbing the food from here and having it at the beach!

This L&L gives many food but they are too much soyu marinade and you can’t taste the meats or chicken because of the heavy soyu marinade. The meat was very hard to chew so I threw it a way. Ate only a third of the food the rest was thrown away.

We went to there because the reviews were good. However. We realized sometimes the reviews are not reliable. The food taste was bad and beef was very hard. Also. my wife ordered 3 musubis but she trashed 2 musubis.

This spot is a hidden gem, tucked away right in the muni golf course club house! The food is excellent, the portions hearty, and if you are lucky you can catch some live music. Don’t skip the coconut shrimp!

Very friendly staff and big portion sizes! Picture below is the Loco Moco. The flavor of the gravy was amazing, very thick and juicy hamburger patties accompanied by the well put together mac salad! Perfect stop over after a day at the beach!

If you want incredible food, local and NOT tourist prices, try L&L Barbecue in Kailua. Honestly, the food taste like mom made it, with love (as they say on the island).

Of all the L and L restaurants, this one makes the best teri beef sandwich hands down. I order mine adding lettuce but otherwise it comes with just mayo. The meat is easy bite through friendly and delicious. They also have really nice workers that are friendly and efficient. They tend to under do their fries so just ask for crispy and your good to go.

My favorite spot on the island for barbeque. It is affordable and you get tons of food. Sometimes we go 3-4 times a week. We also love to stop in and just get a couple scoops of their rice to use for poke later in the week. I've never been disappointed.

The girl at the front counter was so nice. I had the garlic shrimp and the shrimp were so big I thought they were prawns! The garlic was immaculate as well. The rice and mac salad were definitely on point as well. When visiting Kailua again I'll have to make another stop at this location!

A friendly and unpretentious local restaurant in Kailua located in a small shopping centre next to the Anytime Fitness gym. The menu is extensive with many great options. I chose the Kalua pork meal which was delicious and a good portion size. In addition to the pork, the meal comes with rice and macaroni salad, but I did note that this was different to the Kalua pork that I had tried at a different L&L location. In comparison, there seemed to be more cabbage and less pork than what I had experienced elsewhere. The dining room was nice and peaceful to sit and enjoy my meal. Despite the variation in food between here and a different L&L store, the lady at the counter was friendly and the food was still good. I would recommend for anyone in the area wanting good local food.

For a franchise chain, the food quality and taste differ from each location. My wife loves the Mac salad offered at this restaurant over our nearby enchanted lake L & L. However, the BBQ chicken has a flavor profile that is completely different from other locations that I just can't stand. The majority of the food offerings at this location are good and should not be a problem for most people. I would just prefer a level of consistency across the chain as a whole.

Got the luau pork with rice and macaroni salad. Beware : their portions are gigantic! I got the mini, and that would have been enough for two good meals for me. What’s better? It was quite cheap (8$ I believe?), and the staff was friendly :) It looks like nothing from the outside, but you will not regret visiting this place !

L & L Kailua "Ono food!" Flavor is excellent!

L&L on Hoolai St has been our favorite restaurant for local Hawaiian food for years. They work incredibly hard to produce the best, freshest, tastiest local food around. They also offer a full menu of Chinese food that is fresh and very authentic. Our entire family views this restaurant and its staff as passionate and hard working. BEST MAC SALAD TOO!!!

place has really good for. honestly the best steak and garlic shrimp plate in kailua and in my opinion the best garlic shrimp on the island. friendly. good customer service. but prices have gone way up. still decent prices though.

Sooo many choices. The Shoju Chicken was super tender and flavorful. The portions are generous. The service is helpful.

We ordered from here a few nights ago and my entire family has been sick to our stomachs since. We also found a paper cover to a large plastic food container in our tartar sauce.

BBQ chicken is always a treat. I also suggest the chicken katsu curry and the Teri beef plates. They were very health conscious during covid.

My husband and I ate the teri beef sandwich. Beef is tender and ono. Good portion of meat. Also shared a fries. It's the crinkle ones! My fave! Nice lady taking orders.

Super good food, especially for the price, and you get A LOT of food in a plate! Always pretty fast and I think they have the best chicken katsu sauce in Kailua!

Pretty run of the mill Hawaiian fast food. It’s decent in a rush or jam. You will get a ton of food though, so it is a good stop if you need quick and you’re hungry.
