😠 Disappointed with the service. We said please and thank you to everything we asked for and we were cut off with short, irritated sounding one word answers as the waitress walked away. We weren’t even halfway finished with our food when we were given the check. She brought to go boxes and just droppe... People often mention ramen, service, good, great, rice, fast, curry, Great, friendly, portions,

Beware! This business is Chinese Owned and Chinese Staffed so you can expect Chinese quality. The Noodles are stale and the waitresses are rude and unhygienic. I talked to some locals and they say this played was roach infested until recently. Yuck!

Quaint but busy little place in the same shopping center as Safeway in Calgary chapel. The food was exactly what I expected good Japanese ramen.

The worst thing about this ramen was the bamboo shoots. In Japan, they use "Menma" (Seasoned Bamboo Shoots). I love Menma. I do not enjoy plain ol bamboo shoots out of the can into my Tonkotsu Ramen! The soup was bland, but somehow very white. I am curious how. The noodles were cooked good, and plentiful. The egg had no flavor and it was cooked well done. Meat was tough and salty. If not for the bamboo shoots, I would have given 3 stars.

Talk about Island portions! I had enough leftovers to last me three meals!!! This place is DEE-licious. Lots of extra curry sauce to soak the rice in and flavor flavor flavor. Did I mention the large portions? Gyoza had crispy edges and the service was quick.

Good food but it can take forever to get your food. I was waiting about 30-40 mins. Employees seem rude or unresponsive at times.

Huge portions, cheap tasting meat in the Thai curry rice plate. Note: the ramen bowls are chicken/pork boiled for 12 hrs so they say. Meaning the only vegetarian option is miso. And it was awful. We both had sick stomachs for the next few hours. We gave it a try because the line for take-out was long, we figured it was good. We were wrong. Would not recommend.

I had the Tan Tan Ramen combo with pork fried rice and fried calamari. It was all delicious!! Service was great and I felt comfortable with their COVID safety precautions. I can't wait to go back and try their other menu items.

Disappointed with the service. We said please and thank you to everything we asked for and we were cut off with short, irritated sounding one word answers as the waitress walked away. We weren’t even halfway finished with our food when we were given the check. She brought to go boxes and just dropped them on the table while we were still eating… we didn’t know if we even needed boxes yet because we weren’t finished eating. I tip based on service and even though the food was decent, I tipped under 18% (I tipped 16%). The waitress grabbed the check, looked at it, looked at me, and sneered! I’m not sure if she was just having a bad day or not, but the service was unacceptable.

Great food, great prices. I ordered the lunch special and chose miso udon and calamari. The portions we're large and I didn't finish the udon. The calamari was cooked nicely and the squid stayed soft. Water is free, drinks are in cans only. Will definitely be going again.

Can only speak for the takeout curry veggie ramen and the miso ramen, they left a lot to be desired, very bland. They do have a lot more on the menu than just Ramen so hopefully that's better!

Great food at a reasonable cost. Haven’t had one thing here I didn’t enjoy and always leave full.

Lots of choices on styles of Ramens. It's a great value with lots of tasty food. I recommend the combos they offer.

If you're looking for generous portions, you can't go wrong here. Even their "mini" fried rice was enough to satisfy friends with lighter appetites. The ramen broth is good, but not amazing, but the amounts of fixings you get makes up for it. The Super Bowl ramen isn't likely to be finished by any but the biggest of appetites. The menu variety is great, with several ramen and plate lunch options available, not mention free gyoza during happy hour. The service is also friendly and accommodating. Overall, it won't give you best ramen experience around, but if you're in the mood for some reasonably priced Japanese style food, I'd highly recommend it.

I'm sorry about that! I didnt mean to rate low, or at all! I was looking at the photo of the menu! My fault! I love you folks! I apologize.

The food comes out fast and isn’t too expensive. But every time I come here the kitchen smells like a farm.

This ramen restaurant also has curry, fry rice, and gyoza amongst many of their dishes on the menu. Delicious food and average service. Alcoholic drinks at this restaurant are BYOB and you can purchase and bring it in from the liquor store next door. This is the place to go when you are hungry.

This is one of my go 2 ramen spots. Enjoy everything I get here and the service is quick and friendly. Zaru soba, garlic ramen, tan tan ramen, katsu curry, gyoza. Alll delish. Try it out.

Food is great, reasonable price and customer service not bad. Many options to choose from.

  • 3/5 Vinny S. 1 year ago on Google
Okay food. The gyoza was the best part. They do have generous portions, but the flavor of the ramen broth was just too plain. Overall good place if you need something quick but there are plenty of other options.

Always fast service. Love this place! Great ramen! Strongly recommend.

  • 2/5 McKnuggets 8 months ago on Google
Service was incredibly fast as I doubted they would’ve microwaved Gyoza. Gyoza tasted good. Shio ramen was horrible. Soup tasted disgusting and pork slice(chashu) tasted nothing. Menma was inedible.

The is the most unhawaiian place that we visited during our vacation. My order was not the way that I ordered and the server started yelling from the table to the cook and she wanted to take my food back to him to fix, no thank you now. Server never came back to see if we needed anything but gave the check before we were done and still did not ask. The food was ok and there is a lot of it but the service needs definite work.

This is my go to ramen place. Quick, cheap, and damn good. You won't leave hungry. The service is spot on and you'll get the same flavorful meal today as you did yesterday, last week, last month, and last year.

Good broth selections. Tonkotsu is 👍🏿. Prices are reasonable AF. Feed 2 people for about $30 w/ leftovers. Can't really complain. Although, the chicken katsu breading left a bit to be desired 🤷🏿‍♂️

A pretty good place. They do ramen very well. a nice staple in the area with friendly staff. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

This is the third time that my family and I have ordered from this establishment that our entire order has not showed up (we have ordered at least five times). When I call the restaurant they blame bite squad. Bite squad has been nothing but helpful! They obviously do not care about the customers and just deal with the bulk of orders because they are so close to a military base!

I must ended up here at least a couple of times every month, great choices, food and service as well. Spicy beer ramen, gyozas and shrimp fried rice are my favorites to order from here. The curry is a pretty choice as well, my people's always get it.

SO YUMMY!!!😜🍜🍱🍛Had the combo which includes 1 soup + 2 mini entrees: I had shoyu udon with green onion and lots of garlic (because I have a seafood allergy, no seaweed or fishcake for me) and chicken katsu, and gyoza. My husband had the Tan Tan Ramen; rich flavorful broth with an egg, seaweed, fishcake and other goodies..Service is warm & friendly, very clean restaurant and even though plenty of people there during lunchtime our food was prompt and nice and hot! 2 thumbs up for this place indeed!👍🏽👍🏽

Had a great experience here. Service was really quick, food came out in about 5 minutes. It was all delicious - the noodles, the broth (especially tonkatsu), and the sides. Definitely try Gyoza, they were my favorite, homemade and bursting with fresh ginger. It was also really affordable - the combo gives you a huge meal for $12. Check it out!

The only place I'll eat curry is here and my sisters, unless yall recommend any other places. But the curry here is bomb! Great prices for big plates! And their noodles is so yummy too! My daughters love eating their ramen and hubby loves their spicy ramen. Big bowls, good prices! And the service was super fast and very nice especially when my baby was having a fit. We go here and the one in Pearl city by Walmart. Especially when we sick, this is our go to place. So yummy!

First place we have ever taken family when we visit. We go multiple times. Have always been loyal to our wallets in the 4 years we have been on island. Great service, super friendly. And they have your food out in the blink of an eye. Quick to help you with leftovers and the portions can have you eating for days. We can not wait to come back!

I'm not a fan of Daiichi. Not that there food is bad but more like the place doesn't invoke excitement. There's no feeling of glee when I think of eating there. There menu does not offer enough flavor variety, again the food quality is not bad (their fried rice is delicious 5 star quality), but rather it's just boring. The service is subpar it always feels as if the waitresses are rude (I use "feel" loosely because I'm sure in their minds they don't believe they are rude). Just get the rice to go and eat store bought ramen.

I find this to be my favorite spot to eat ramen at. I would highly recommend staying here to eat the ramen, as that is when it is the most fresh. The music they play is very nice, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great. Can't recommend enough.
