October and its already beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I had the absolute best shopping experience at Farmers Chartwell! And no, it wasn't just because there was a 60% off sale or because everything I wanted was miraculously in my size (although that definitely helped!). The real reason I had such a great time was because of the amazing staff at Chartwell Farmers. Dian and Solace made it fun, like I was shopping with friends. It had been many years since I last went to an actual store to buy clothes, but after today, I'm definitely coming back! We had some great chats, and I loved how easy and fun they made my experience (you don't get that online!). Not only that, the store itself was immaculately tidy - a couple of women were working tirelessly to return fitting room items to the department. The fitting rooms were very tidy too. That really made a difference, and I just had to thank them too! So thank you, Chartwell Farmers, Dian, Solace and the women putting the clothes back - I can't wait to come back to your store soon!

Had a horrible experience at Farmers Chartwell branch today. Went to purchase a perfume but this lady Gurwinder was so rude and eye rolling when I was trying a few perfumes. I gave up after a while and walked out as I couldn’t tolerate her attitude and bad customer service. This branch need to sort their staff’s attitudes! Never experienced this at either at the Base or Hamilton stores.

Typical department store, clean, tidy friendly staff. Just popped in to get some shorts on special. Still expensive, will shop at save mart next time.

Really nice Farmers store. Always fantastic clothing options here. Clean, modern fit out. 2 department levels, great range of products available.

I went into Farmers Chartwell with my youngest daughter, to buy a camisole, to go under a summer top. The store itself was very bright, breezy, and was easy to navigate. I suffer from spinal stenosis, so it was good to see clutter free walk ways, within the Farmers store. I found what I was looking for, after a short time, and approached one of the store counters. The assistant who served me, was friendly, helpful, and very chatty, and I appreciated that. I hadn't been shopping in a store for over a year, so it was a lovely experience.

Unfortunately the staff in store tend to judge you a lot dependant on how you present. I made a dash in store to get some makeup etc in my trackpants and a hoodie. Nothing that outrageous and was immediately shadowed by staff. Had multiple staff visibly watch me and make their presence more than known. When it came time to purchase as I stood at the counter I was almost ignored, and made to feel as though I wasn't meant to be there. I was eventually served, not asked for my club card number, had to offer that myself. Left with no goodbye and no smiles. Fast forward to last week when I came in to buy a few dresses when I wasn't looking less unkempt and I was treated kindly by multiple staff, assisted by multiple staff all of whom were helpful and smiling, I wasn't followed around, I wasn't made to feel out of place and I was readily served at the counter. Staff need better training on how to be less judgmental. I'll still obviously shop at Farmers as I enjoy what their store has to offer, but still an unfortunate and unnecessary thing to have been through.
