One of the holiest sites in Islam and beautiful. Need to be covered below the knees and shoulders but cloth is provided if not.

Alhamdolillah A very old & historical mosque in Islam. It’s carved into beautiful stone architecture & a must visit to Kairouan.

Very impressive and large mosque and a must see if you pass-by with about 1500 years history and recognized as UNESCO world heritage. However, we were not able to see the interior as it was on a Friday

We only observed it from outside but it was a great place to visit.

Absolutely beautiful Mosque worth the two hour drive from Tunis. Was not able to see the inside sadly as there were no opening times on Google (suggested and published). We were able to go on the roof of a carpet shop to see the inside from top however. 5/5

A fantastic piece of architecture. Situated in the centre of the country and the fourth holiest city in Islam. A sight to remember with reverence. Appropriate clothing is required but available on entry for those in shorts and vest t shirts.

Beautiful piece of architecture but not very well known place among non-Muslim people. Definitely a must see.

Site of the world's oldest standing minaret as well as the oldest sundial in the world.
