Safari never disappoints. There's amazing unique dishes you can't find anywhere else in the area, the service is quick and the food is always fresh. I recommend the passion fruit beer!

We ordered a platter for 3 people and it was hard to finish the platter. The food was so delicious and the presentation of the platter was amazing too. The fruit beer is a must try.

Interesting Savannah decor, good food but very very spicy and great beer! I recommend to try this place if you get into town. The personnel were extremely nice and the food came fast. I give them only 4 stars because the smell from the kitchen was very intense in the whole restaurant so when I left my clothes smell like food...😏

The staff is very helpful in explaining menu items and the food is always great. Try any of the appetizers for an excellent food experience. We eat here ever other Fri or Sat! As good as always!

This is the fifth time I have eaten here, and I realized I never left a review. Well, it is a great restaurant with incredibly flavorful foods. Every time I eat here, I have a different dish, and I have never left feeling unsatisfied. They do have a good selection of vegetarian options if you prefer, and their drink menu is pretty good. Service at times seems stretched thin, but it has really never impacted my meal or experience. Overall, it is a great restaurant if you're looking for flavorful food with great spices.

The food and staff here are amazing! We truly enjoyed everything we ate. High recommend the chicken and definitely get a fruit beer

Excellent restaurant. I’m from the southern United States, and an ethnic Ethiopian restaurant is way outside my comfort zone. This place made that journey very easy. The restaurant is well-decorated and immerses you in the African Serengeti. The tables are semi-private and nice for conversation. The wait staff are kind and happy to explain what the food is. The dining itself is an adventure. You use the traditional bread to grab and eat your food. They give you plenty of rolls of it (and a fork if eating with your hands is too much.) The food is very flavorful—not super spicy like I imagined, but vibrant and alive in ways American restaurants sometimes lack. We topped the night off with some Ethiopian coffee, which was great. There’s a modest kids menu for the little ones. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Safari had several vegan Ethiopian and Eritrean dishes that were absolutely delicious. They have vegan appetizers, main, and dessert. Love the experience of eating with your hands and dipping the Injera onto the platter to scoop up your food. The variety of lentils and vegetables were all very good. The service was wonderful. The prices were very reasonable. I will be back and highly recommend eating here.

Loved it! As a brown person I felt at home because of the hospitality of the staff and the flavors of the food. I would go back in a heart beat! We ordered the Safari platter and it was very filling for two persons who usually eat a bigger portion. And the pineapple beer in the pumpkin cup was a vibe on another high level. Please go and try their food, and kindly do not waste food if you order, it's disrespectful to order a big portion and throw all of it. The food here was amazing! Got to eat here twice and both times I was in love. The do get full during dinner time so be sure to try to reserve a spot. I suggest to be open and try their beer! My husband loved it. I literally have nothing negative to say about here. Can’t wait to go back!

Soooo good. The food was super filling. We got 21 for two people and weren't able to finish it. I would highly recommend coming here! The staff is awesome also.

Delicious Eritrean restaurant. Enjoyed a vegan plate with lots of vegetables, which is a welcome respite in a meat and potatoes country😉 they also have various meat options, but I needed a bit of a “healthy break”. I also recommend the fruit beer- don’t shy away from the passion fruit flavor! This place is highly rated and popular for a reason- very much recommend. If you’ve never eaten this kind of food, give it a try. One note- you usually eat with your hands, though forks are served on request.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Safari! The staff was extremely friendly, gave great recommendations for food choices, and our dinner was excellent! Loved the unique interior design, and cozy style. Recommend the combo samplers so that you can try out a variety of food items. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a seat!

Really good African food and the ambience is nice too. In my opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in Kaiserslautern. It reminds me of food from my hometown. On the plus side, there is great options for vegans and vegetarians too.

The food is very authentic and had an excellent taste. The restaurant decor makes the overall atmosphere inviting and comfortable. Each waitress we encountered was friendly, funny and answered all our questions. Highly Recommend!!

Superb food, as always. Great service, even with the COVID precautions. One has to be prepared to enjoy the meal, it's all made fresh, not staged 2 hours before you order. And you can taste the difference.

Nice place to get some good Eritrean cuisine, Lovely people, and good vibes. A regular spot for those in the local area. When I'm in the mood to eat vegan I go here. It's on the fav list.

Nice place to try North east African Food. The food is from Eritrea 🇪🇷 They also have nice ambience with a slideshow of African animals. The Djudju beer is served in a Calabash Bowl according to a Voodoo tradition to present the brew with full of good feelings, happiness and desire. „Twa omanya aba (Cheers)“

This place was delicious. Authentic Ethiopian experience in KTown. It's a good idea to get reservations. They have some bar space if you don't have a reservation, but the place really filled up fast in the evening.

Food was amazing and we didn't need to wait too long for it. The staff were friendly and made the experience even better. Make sure to reserve a table before going especially on the weekend as it is well-known & can get packed.

Beautiful place with great food. The portions are big. Prices are reasonable. I tried their lamb dish and it was delicious! Parking might be difficult depending on what time you go. They accept card payments.
