I think this was the best restaurant and food we had while in Germany. Food of this quality and attention would easily cost 3-4 times the price back in Canada! The owner was also so kind and treated us well even though we were a little shaggy and under dressed from our travels.

▪️ What I loved: everything - cute small place and you can really tell it's authentic Italian - I accidentally ordered a special dish because I saw all the food in the displays and assumed you order what you want 🙈 - no, they have a menu 🤣 I think it's on the wall - but they were kind enough to ask the chef to make what I wanted - so I accidentally had my own special dish made ▪️ Size: small ▪️ Service: efficient and friendly ▪️ Price: affordable ▪️ Scenic view: pleasant street view ▪️ Wait time: none when I went but I went earlier in the day, things picked up after I sat down ▪️ Reservations: I would suggest making one, especially on the weekends ▪️ Entertaiment: none when I went ▪️ Specials: looks like they have a changing menu ▪️Dogs allowed: they have an outdoor section that I'm sure dogs are allowed there, inside I'm unsure Pleasant experience. 🙃

Honestly I was slightly skeptical when I walked in, but I loved it. The waiter was beyond perfect, super friendly and patient. The kitchen sent out a complimentary treat that everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed aside from myself but this small gesture was phenomenal. The truffle past, was great. The flavor wasn’t “too much” it was just right. Overall loved the lunch date with my friends and full intend on returning🙌🏼

The flavors of everything I've eaten here were very fresh, unassuming, and tasted like it was made by your Italian grandma; from the appetizers, to the first course, to the dessert! Ditch all the other Italian restaurants in K-town because this place is all you'll ever need. Cash only though.

We stopped in for lunch and absolutely loved our visit. The service was exceptionally warm and kind and our meals were beautifully made and delicious. Highly recommend stopping in. One note, despite what Google Maps says, lunch service begins at 11:30.

We had the salmon pasta and the truffle pasta with the cream mushroom Risotto (appetizer), along with a white wine schorle and white wine; overall, the dishes were good. The salmon pasta was tasty, but the salmon was a bit too salty for our taste. The truffle pasta was great, but this time, it was a bit on the light side for taste. For two pastas and two drinks, it was 50 Euro, which was a bit on the expensive side when compared to the other Italian restaurants in the area. Overall, it is a good place to get pasta.

Best Italian food in Kaiserslautern. We enjoyed an incredible meal here. Service was OUTSTANDING! The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else. You would never know from outside that the inside dining area is an old metzgerei. It was so cool to eat inside. The wine was very good and the food was so delicious. Once again, Best Italian food in Kaiserslautern!

Fine dining experience, for a reasonable price. Wait times for meals have been as long as almost 2 hours, but usually around 40 mins. The presentation is amazing. The food is perfection! A nice selection of wine. Worth it!

Incredible price to quality ratio. A small but always rotating selection of traditional Italian dishes. House made pasta and Salsicia. Often times fully booked, so call ahead for a reservation. Very nice indoor seating in a historic former slaughter and butcher room. Beware, the place is cash only.

Looks great but we were turned away for arriving at 1605. Recommend you skip breakfast and go early. The place must be amazing with those hours.

Great food, wine and service. Very friendly staff and owner. Kitchen closed at 4, so we had a drink and came back the next day for lunch. It was worth the wait. Highly recommend
