was
a
Punjabi
revolutionary
belonging
to
the
Ghadar
Party
best
known
for
assassinating
Michael
O'
Dwyer,
the
former
lieutenant
governor
of
the
Punjab
in
India.
The
assassination
was
in
revenge
for
the
Jallianwala
Bagh
massacre
in
Amritsar
in
1919.Singh
was
subsequently
tried
and
convicted
of
murder
and
hanged
in
July
1940.
This
park
is
dedicated
to
Shaheed
udham
Singh
Open
for
public
28-09-2013
Located
just
near
Mata
Gate.
This
park
have
two
gate
one
on
near
Mata
Gate
and
other
one
on
Khurana
Road
near
Government
Electrical
House.
It's
quite
a
Small
park
where
you
can
breathe
fresh
air.
Good
for
morning
and
evening
walks.
I
would
encourage
people
to
plant
some
nice
exotic
trees🌲🌳🌴,
permanent
green
plant's
in
this
park
as
has
lots
of
space
for
same.
Near
both
gate
Ladies
and
Gent's
toilets
available
but
unhygienic
also
small
parking
facilities.
A
visit
to
this
park
you
will
be
welcomed
with
squirrels
&
bird's
bustling
all
over
the
place.
