Holy place for Hindus and have a huge spiritual and religious faith or importance. But after seeing Ghat really disappointed it is in very dirty condition not clean filled with water bottle and plastics. You cannot take even bath in the sarovar after looking at condition of it. Specially pandits and related peoples here are full of greed and trying to steal you giving XY religious reasons. Government should define benchmark for this or depute some one for this kind of wrong practices. I request all government athority and concerned person should look into it and maintaining Pehowa Dham neat and clean. We should save this holy place before it meshed up completely.

The work of Pandit’s are well satisfied, but there are no parking area for your vehicles. Parking at the owners risk.

Place is good and very historical. Need serious improvements in cleanup of main ghat area bcz that impacts how people have an impression about the incredibility of place. Looks like water in main ghat is logged since long and have not been cleaned up. Don't even required to go near ghat because anyone can observe that by bad smells of water.

Legend has it .. Yudhishthir came here to give gati to his family members (kauravs etc).This place has big significance in India ..It is said that anyone who passes on their bed needs to be mokshed by his successors through pooja at this place.This is not to be confused with Haridwar as that ritual is always followed ( this is in addition).The place leading to this ghat is full of pandas who will help you find the relevant pages of your family tree and document your current visit purpose etc.we perfomed Gati pooja .The rates mentioned were 3300 /4400 / 5500 ( select one)+ 130 for pooja thali + 400 for ghat expenses.The above section has nothing todo with pooja performance and is related to number of jaaps( mantra repetitions) . Also carry a mustard oil bottle for Karthikeya temple (Alternatively you can buy it there180-liter).This place was clean not much crowded and with less patrons who follow you to perform puja / pay donations.Happy Visiting Pehova(popularly called Pahve)

Saraswati ghat is in a very poor condition. The sarovar water has plastic bags, paper bowls and other garbage in it. Usually it is said to take dip in this water, it gives merit. But seeing the condition of ghat I was saddended. Even pandits and other people on ghat dont advise to take bath, just touch water and sprikle few drops on ourselves. This place is holy for Hindus and has huge spiritual and religious importance. But seeing the condition I was utterly disappointed. I visited today morning for rituals for my Grand father. I request government and concerned authorities to please take some sincere action on this and save this place before it deteriorates beyond repair. Adding few pictures.
