This is the most quite place you will find near Chandigarh. As an cyclist you can cycle there solo or with your cycling group. Best place to visit here is in the morning weather its summer or winter. This place is cool and cozy and warm 365 days 24*7 Do respect this place and never liter here. The village people keep this place neat and clean

Right now in march 2021 though lake is exactly dry, still it looks beautiful. I was thinking of bringing my RE onto it, but there was no way. But I found this spot fascinating than Jainti Dam.

A place FULL OF LIFE......visited this place on my Cycle...Since its rainy season so Dam was filled with water. On the way a small Off Road and Elevated segment. Must visit Vaishno Mata Mandir just 100 mtrs ahead of it to feel the DIVINITY and the Bliss.

It's a bumpy ride to the dam. Not recommended on a cycle unless it's a good mountain bike. The place is pleasant, peacocks around and there's a temple nearby surrounded by forest and some bird and Wildlife. There's fishes in the lake, and the sunrise/sunset views are great from the place

The dam is located far-off from the city rush and located nearby a village. Aceesible by two vehicles and auto. Walkover if coming by taxi.The place is in isolation and has a nearby temple of devi durga

Beautiful offbeat place close to Chandigarh. The road leading to the dam is off-road. Avoid in rain. Two temples nearby hills to soak in the view. Come here for sunset or sunrise.
