This place is far from Shimla and didn't like too much. There is only one place to visit and that too you have to take horse ride. Especially senior citizens can't enjoy. Didn't like too much. It's better to visit kufri or other place.

Nice place to visit. Pony ride is cumbersome. Better to go on foot. HPTDC cafe at the entry point is nice.

6th Jan 2023: We stayed at Naldehra chalets for a few days and one of the days wanted to see the course and try out golf lessons. Contacted the club and they were friendly and happy to help. Pretty steep hike to get to the reception and we then went to the practise area. 5 of us including two elderly family members had a go. Harry was really good with the tips and guidance. The course is beautiful and quite difficult to play on, I imagine. Lots of hills n valleys. Enjoyed the morning out at the course. The price is nominal. Rs 230 per person, however we paid more to Harry. Thanks for a great experience

Keen on golf, must visit. even as visitor climb the forested foot path. Pay and use. Caddy very reasonable price but take your golf balls. Lush green undulating forested golf course of 18 holes. When tired come to restaurant run by Himachal tourism. Great tasty snacks impeccable service and views of the greens. Keen on horse riding hire a pony and reach the gate.

Horse ride is optional although the guides will insist to hire a horse. We(me, wifey and son) did on foot and covered the trails in 2 hours. Do take a local guide though if you want to explore the trails. If you only want to see only golf course, then guide is not required.

Good course suring this time of the year of it was pleasant abd we were lucky for not having rains which generally subside by 15th Sept every year but this yera it was an exception as I extended my stay in Shimla after Naldehra, where I experienced rains on three days out of four days after playing in Naldehra

It was just useless and time + money wasting place. No doubt views are awesome here. But taking mules on rent 500rs per head is just a molestation of visitors. It's only 1 hour ride on mule. You have to pay extra for gate pass . And mule owner leaves you in the midst of a dirty park, where too useless zipline is present. Then the mule owner doesn't stop not even on a single point. He just shows that this is this and you can't see anything. You can't take any pic and can't record video. Mule owners behaviour is too rude and they abuse people. The best way is too Trek here by yourself in a group. Golf course is here always closed.

Very well preserved and unexplored area, less crowded and far from hustle. Good visit for people looking to spend some quality short time

Its a nice inclined walk. However, tourists cannot enter the green luscious golf course, which was a big disappointment. There isn't much to do too. There are basically 2 food stalls there.

About 25 km from Shimla mall, set in serene surrounding, the golf course & adjoining golf club is worth visiting. The journey from Shimla is through picturesque path. One may make a detour to visit the beautiful Mashobra valley too. At Naldhera one may walk up to the golf club (only about 200 mitres) having a restaurant where one can have refreshment & view the golf course. Entry into the golf course needs permission. There is a temple further up on the hill top about 4-5 km - one may trek or take horse for a ride which is quite costly.

Located amidst the serene landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, Naldehra Golf Course is an absolute delight for golf enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this picturesque golfing paradise, and I was left in awe of its beauty and the exceptional golfing experience it offers. As I arrived at the course, I was greeted by breathtaking views of rolling hills, dense forests, and the majestic Himalayas in the distance. The well-maintained greens blended harmoniously with the natural surroundings, creating a serene and peaceful ambiance. The Naldehra Golf Course, designed by British Viceroy Lord Curzon in the early 1900s, boasts a challenging yet enjoyable layout. The 18-hole course is known for its undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky greens, offering a rewarding golfing experience for players of all skill levels. While playing, I couldn't help but be captivated by the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The course winds its way through tall cedar trees and offers panoramic views at every turn. It truly felt like a golfing expedition in paradise. The clubhouse at Naldehra Golf Course is equipped with modern amenities, including a pro shop, locker rooms, and a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout my visit. Even if you're not an avid golfer, Naldehra Golf Course is worth a visit simply for its breathtaking natural beauty. The tranquil atmosphere and stunning vistas make it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing picnic amidst nature's embrace.

A quiet and peaceful detour to enjoy with your friends and family. Have tea/coffee/breakfast/drinks here on the cafe. You will have the best view of the golf course from the cafe only because as a tourist you will anyways will not be allowed to go inside the golf course. That is for members only.

The way to the golf course is beautiful! You don't need the horse ride if you can walk 500m uphill. It's a beautiful way to reach the golf course. You can see the golf course from outside and the place is absolutely picturesque.

A beautiful 100 year old vintage Golf course. A perfect place for enjoying a game of golf. We stayed at Woodstock Resort which is at walking distance from the Golf course. They have clean and spacious rooms with delicious food options.

Very scenic and well maintained hut no entry for General tourists and visitors. Nag mandir side view of golf course via horse ride is just ok, as again the area is out of bounds being a golf course.

Beautiful 18 hole Golf Course in hills. Said to be initiated by Lord Curzon. Well maintained but challenging for Golfers who play on plain golf courses. Greens are very fast. The beauty around is awesome.

Go there for the view. We ordered finger chips, peanuts, chilli paneer and chowmin. All were prepared fresh but horrible to eat. The chowmin were watery and capsicum spoiled. Peanuts were old and fried with same spoiled capsicum. It is very difficult to spoil finger chips and rotis. This place served finger chips those were surely expired and old.... Go to this place to use the washrooms and to take photos of the golf course. Do not dare to try anything at the restaurant.

One of the finest Golf Courses and highest in Aisa , very tough due to terrain . To be able to play one can walk in and take a day membership and play 9 holes for under Rs 1000/. Wonderful Staff and Caddie.

One of the best place to do a horse riding, you can explore the hilly jungle and a golf course by using Horses, local guide would be there with the horse. A local restaurant is also there if you want to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, I did not see any rooms or hotels.just next to the Naldehra golf course.

It's the oldest golf course in that area. We had a horse ride journey outside the golf course boundary but it's an awesome view from nag tibba temple.
