Real beautiful, calm and peaceful place... Even when it's completely full with people, you won't have to face chaos and disturbing loud noises of people. The solace and peace here is unmatched. Also serves langar continuously in the gurudwara premises and rooms are available too for staying. People come here, bow down to have blessing and also volunteer themselves for serving too, be it there choice for what they choose to serve.

Very well managed holy place. Go here, worship, have langar, click pictures. There is also a pond, where you can sit and meditate and colorful fishes are also there. You can shop various things from the "mela" as well.

A very calm & peaceful place to visit often. The Gurudwara is spread across in ample amount of space, making it easier for thousands of visitors to not only attend, but also eat langar simultaneously. There's ample parking space for vehicles outside the premises. Plus, the maintenance has been done well.

This is one of the most popular Gurudwara Sahib in Patiala. Most people come here during Panchami, which is observed as a holy day to take bath. this Gurudwara saheb has a history history attached to it. It is believed that whosoever takes bath here on the day of Panchami and pay offerings to Guru Sahib, he or she gets Ni- Rogi ( Rog to bina, i.e. jisnu rog nahi rahega) . You can check the photo also. On some occasions/festivals (such as Diwali/ Bandhi Chorh Diwas, Holi / Hola - Mohala , New Year Eve , etc ) you can witness lots of travelers here. Must visit whenever you are in patiala.. Baki Gurudwara Sahib ja k zrur aayo te Blessings lo guru sahib dian πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

Must visit place if you are in Patiala!! Seva bhav is what you will feel at every corner of the Gurudwara. I was specially emotional with the museum where all πŸ™πŸ» Gurus glimpses were showcased. The pain, suffering and their lives they had to pay to the champions of butcheries "Mughals" or Islamic Invaders and rulers in ancient India only to save the Hindus and common peoples; this one thing no Hindu and Sikh bros can forget!!!!πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ» Overall, a must place to visit if you are in town!

This gurudwara is known for removing various obstacles, sadness and suffering i a person's life. it also features a pool of holy water. Many people believe that once upon a time, a black crow once dipped himslef inside the water and when he came outside, its colour changed to white.

Magical place! Have such an aura there that you'll definitely find peace if you're stressed and you'll find all the solutions to your problems. Such a Divine Place. Also if you visit there don't forget to eat lungar as you'll taste the most delicious food in your life which will feel like it's coming directly from God's place. It is always clean and so calm, literally anyone can go and spend some time there. Open all the time so that under privileged people can also take shelter and food there. I just wish you all that Waheguru Ji Mehar Karein πŸ™πŸ»

A wonderful and peaceful place. Visited here after 9 years and this gurudwara brought back the same calmness and blessing that I felt long back. Clean, nice aura and the kadha (halwa) absolutely delicious. ☺️ There's a mela nearby to enjoy and do some shopping. The lake is serene great to just sit, relax or to meditate. A great place to search for yourself, ask for love, care and forgiveness and above all remember Guru Tej Bahadurji. πŸ™

A must see holy place when visiting Patiala. Very clean and well managed. There is a Sarovar where you can partake a holy dip but not necessary; and the katha-kirtanis are top notch. Makes you want to stay there all day.

Title: A Tranquil Haven of Spiritual Serenity: Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib Review: Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib stands as a testament to the profound spiritual heritage of the Sikh religion. From the moment you step foot into its sacred premises, you are enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and purity that leaves an indelible mark on your soul. Located in the holy city of Patiala, Punjab, Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib holds immense religious significance for Sikhs around the world. It is believed to possess the power to alleviate the suffering of those who visit with a sincere heart and devote themselves to prayer and contemplation. The first thing that strikes you upon entering the gurudwara is its awe-inspiring architecture. The magnificent white marble structure adorned with intricate glasswork and frescoes creates a sense of ethereal beauty. As you make your way through the entrance gate, the serenity of the place engulfs you, transporting you to a realm of peace and devotion. Inside, you are greeted by the melodious strains of Gurbani (Sikh devotional hymns) resonating through the air. The melodic chants, accompanied by the soothing sound of the harmonium and tabla, evoke a sense of spiritual transcendence and fill your heart with devotion. The rhythmic recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism, further enhances the atmosphere of reverence and sanctity. One of the most cherished aspects of the Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib experience is the langar, a community kitchen where free meals are served to all visitors, regardless of their caste, creed, or social status. The langar epitomizes the core Sikh value of selfless service and equality. Sitting alongside fellow devotees and partaking in the simple yet delicious vegetarian meal creates a sense of unity and brotherhood that is truly humbling. The gurudwara's serene Sarovar (holy pool) serves as a focal point for reflection and purification. Devotees partake in the sacred ritual of Karah Parshad, a sweet offering distributed to all as a blessing. Walking around the Sarovar, absorbing its tranquil ambiance and witnessing the devotion of pilgrims taking a dip in its holy waters, one cannot help but feel a deep connection to the divine. The spiritual experience at Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is not limited to Sikhs alone; people from all walks of life are welcomed with open arms. Whether seeking solace, spiritual guidance, or simply a respite from the chaos of the outside world, this gurudwara offers a sanctuary where one can find inner peace and rejuvenation. In conclusion, a visit to Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is an enriching and purifying experience that leaves an everlasting impression on your spirit. Its serene ambiance, soul-stirring devotional music, selfless service through langar, and the profound religious respect it holds in the Sikh faith make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking solace and spiritual enlightenment.
