Infrastructure is nice the campus is very big it has different buildings for Science students Commerce students, BTech students and arts students. It also has canteen in which sitting arrangements is available. Also, fresh and good quality food is available there. Academics For academics, it is good. Teachers are well experienced. They are very helpful, cooperative and nice. The curriculum is designed according to the guidelines of University but it doesn't help students to give any Competitive exam. Placements Placement is not very good. Students has to to try themselves to get a good job. They have to work on their personality, communication skills etc.by themselves. Only college helps the students to clear all the queries if any student has related to placement process. Value-for-money The course fees is jusy Rs. 30,000 and i think according to the fees, it is average college. Campus Life Students can engage in extra curricular activities like dance, music, sports, fest etc. Anything Else Good experience

Best place in chandigarh full of positive vibes. Love to visit this energetic place frequently. You will see beautiful faces around there. You can enjoy delicious yummy food like cheese Naan gravy, Chinese platter, at very reasonable price like 50 to 70rs. It is pleasure doing gossips with friends while sipping Masala tea in lush green garden. Don't miss the food it's is highly delicious. Highly recommended place if you want to remind your college days again.

The best university ever. This university have well educated, even the professor have enormous knowledge not only in their own field but also related to other subjects. Panjab University even gives opportunity to in Evening Studies department to the working students who are unable to attend regular classes at morning time. Almost all the courses of arts of graduation as well as post graduation level are available in Evening Studies. To get the education in all aspects, I recommend PU to all the students who want to pursue their study after twelfth.

Panjab University: if we talk about the studies then it's THE BEST❤️ the thing that i just hate about this University is that there is nobody to answer for ur queries;literally nobody. I have called on the number which they had given on their official site about 20-30 times in a single day but nobody recieved my calls.i've had even mailed them but there's also nobody answered. there a alot a student is eager to know about and the only confirmed answer a student can get from the University. I have studied Law from UILS, so I spent some good 5 years of my life in the University. Study: You can't beat it. PU is too good at this front. Personality Development: You can't beat that either. The opportunities this platform provides is beyond any other. Its like you have enough time to focus on everything during you College time. Campus: The best place you can be. Clerical staff: Department wise the clerical staff is good and supportive. But my God, when you have to get some work done from Admin Block, they make you touch your ears. They just don't wanna work. Their office time is 10-5. They come at 10:30-11, spend 40% time chatting on their phones. 11:15 to 12 is then their tea time. Their official lunch hours are 1-2 but the actual is 12:45 to 2:30. They just don't want to work.

It is a best ever university in India 🇮🇳, it is known not only for its well planned infrastructural design of buildings and quality of education but also for its lifestyle and day to day life, which particular can be witnessed at Students Centre- a round shaped circular building housing various shops, eatery stalls for students… There are many shops and eating points here at Student centre, I always love to eat and have cup of coffee or tea here. One can have meal, fast foods like grilled sandwiches 🥪, burgers 🍔, pasta 🍝, spring roll, momos, salad 🥗, juice 🥤, shakes, snacks and many other eatable items at affordable price. Worst university They ask me to send a document my fault that I send the incorrect one and they sent me a mail of admission on hold. Then on sending the correct document they sent me the mail of admission application approved. Then they created a merit list with my right document information. But at the time of admission list they deprived me from the admission and gave the argument that they have created the list from the document that I have sent earlier and which also they have not even approved. If you guys want degree, I attached photo of buildings, Directly go to bus stand and take a bus which drop you front of PGI gate . When you enter in the gate go through straight road for 1...2 km and on the right side of the road you will see the building in photo . Go back side of them there is a single storey office infront of SBI bank where you can get your dmc or degree or any queries related to your results etc . But Remember the office start at 9. Or 10 am so you should be there may be at 7 to 8 am because there was rush when I went there so be on time and carry all required documents and specially for example authority letter etc.

Provides all kinds of facilities inside the campus with shopping stores, books shop, medical store too. Canteen is always gutted with students and provide meals in economical rates. Overall it is very good University for students to pursue and study here.

Separate departments, different blocks, student centre (Stuc), gandhi bhavan, Usol, Ac joshi library, gurudwara muktsar sahib are the main attraction of Panjab university. There are more than 7 boys hostels and 7 girls hostels. The whole 14 sector is panjab university and some of its department are in 25 sector. GANDHI BHAWAN It’s distinctive position as a white lotus against the red sandstone structures of the Panjab campus is a metaphorical representation of Gandhi’s teachings, and stands out amidst the more traditional academic and administrative structures of the university. It is as iconic as it seems. A shame that the pool of water was not present at the time of visiting, however it allowed me to capture the building’s details with my eyes more than a zoom of the camera. Despite its individual characteristic, I find that the Fine Arts Museum opposite, shares a facade similar to Gandhi Bhawan. Two sets of large panels sitting atop, or sandwiched between a set of long horizontal panels. Perhaps, Gandhi Bhawan fits in well on Panjab campus, and the two structures and their contrasting hues and material, highlight the nuanced interplay between tradition and modernity. BOYS’ HOSTEL One of the Boys’ Hostel visited was an observation of one room on the ground level, where a lattice brickwork was displayed. However, some of the holes of the brickwork were filled with two stacks of bricks. Perhaps, the natural ventilation operates well, but privacy was sought after. I did also love the short coloured stone walls at the entrance to the dorms. STUDENT CENTRE My first instance of seeing a concrete ramp circle up a concrete building, its facade often placed with pivotal louvered windows for natural ventilation, while a hand runs along the thick concrete railing held up by frequent thin metal poles. Though I’ve only had the opportunity to enter its top floor cafe, the Student Centre appears much better from the outside. Its bathroom is terrible, and the lighting was weak inside the cafe. I did adore the view of the social hub below the building, and the maintained shrubs along the footpaths.

The present-day Panjab University traces its roots to the University of the Punjab established on 14 October 1882 at Lahore (now in Punjab, Pakistan). Most of the colleges affiliated to University of the Punjab were in the present Indian part of British India. After the partition of India in 1947, the university was split into two for Indian Punjab and Pakistani Punjab. A new university was then established/relocated in the Punjab, India in 1947. To distinguish the two, the name of the university on the Indian side, the spelling for 'Punjab' was changed to Panjab. After 1947[8] the university had no campus of its own for nearly a decade. The administrative office was in Solan and the teaching departments functioned from Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Delhi, and Amritsar. In 1956 the university was relocated to Chandigarh, on a red sandstone campus designed by Pierre Jeanneret under the guidance of Le Corbusier. Until the re-organisation of Punjab in 1966, the university had its regional centres at Rohtak, Shimla, Jalandhar and its affiliated colleges were in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and U.T. of Chandigarh. With the re-organisation of Punjab, the university became an Inter-State Body Corporate catering to the newly organised state of Punjab and union-territory of Chandigarh.

Very difficult to find blocks. Also blocks not listed on Google maps, if listed they are wrongly marked. Which makes it more hard to find. Law department staff not helpful at all. They are all in attitude. If asked something, they won't reply clearly. They called us from Himachal and sent us to ludhiana just to get a signed paper for fee transfer from ludhiana to Chandigarh on the last day. Which we did starting our journey from home at 6am, collecting and submitting the document from ludhiana and at Chandigarh before 5pm, without having any lunch.

Punjabi University Chandigarh Sec 14 has been hub of students activity since many decades. But eating out in upper cafeteria UC aur in shops of student Centre it has always been fun to eat with friends and family the food is really delicious and finds favour with all age groups tho it is very very reasonably priced due to the students unions pressure. Students have been visiting this place not only for studies and co curricular activities sports but its the fun being here. Rose fest and other fests are liked by everyone indian or overseas stds. Love to visit this place.
