Park and Children’s Play Area - Lovedale Garden-Idaiyankulam, Thirunelveli. A shrubby terrain under the foothills of Western Ghats converted into a lovely landscape with a variety of ornamental plants and a large open grassy space. Life-sized sculptures of various animals are placed here and there in the vegetation to give the area a forest look. Pet rabbits are caged in one corner with a view to encourage the kids’ curiosity and learning. Attached to the park is a play-park with swings, see-saw, merry-go-around and similar play equipment, where the kids can play and enjoy under the care and protection of the park attendants. A lovely place to visit. Entry fee Rs.20/- Attached to the park is APJ Abdul Kalam Science Education Centre run by the same management. It is a gateway to knowing science and nature and should not be missed. By paying a fee of Rs.60, you can enjoy both the Park and the Science Education Centre.

Very nice environment. Can buy various crotons and flowering plants at cheapest price. Good place for photography. Updated with grass on ground.

It was peaceful and the staffs hospitality was good...There's also a nursery there where you can buy any kind of saplings from big trees to flowering plants to the one fix on the pots....
