Perennial river originating from western Ghats near Malaimel Nambi Koil - Thrirukkurungudi. Water falls situated inside forest near temple. It's clean if you go upstream. Be careful as it's a tiger reserve and rocks can be slippery.

Lovely place. Due to summer no water. Best place to visit during rainy times.

The best place to take a bath in natural water which is coming from the western ghats mountains and drains through nambi kovil waterfalls and reaches the Tambarabarani in tirunelveli.
