Excellent location for an one day outing with family and friends. One day is not enough to see the places in kalakkad reserve. Its a protected area for tigers. Dams water falls temples and a lot to see. Excellent place for bike riders. Nice driving experience through the road inside the forest. The famous panatheertha falls is inside the karayar dam in this reserve. The dams inside this reserve is the part of papanasam project of TNEB. Affordable ticket rates and allowed all type of our own vehicles inside the reserve.

Nice place to visit. Make sure you are booking in right place. It is divided into two different forest recently. Kalakad and mudanthurai. I think 60kms between two different forest
