Kerala in many ways looked like Assam in the pictures, be it the paddy fields, the coconut trees, the banana plants, etc. As such, being from Assam, we were apprehensive at first to whether or not visit Kerala for our 1st year marriage anniversary. Went on a Kerala tour with Lumiere holidays covering kochi, munnar , thekkdeyy, alleppey, kumarakom and kovalam , had a fantastic experience with Mr Praveen, he addressed all our queries patiently and supported us throughout the trip, all the meals were greatt and my stay was exactly the way I wished for. I booked through them for my first trip to Kerala (God’s own country) from Mumbai and with guidance of Ms. Rakhi, was able to get the most luxurious hotels at a very good price. We had taken vagamon and Alleppey Tour. It was a awesome trip we spent nice time after a long covid times. We started from chennai, the pickup and drop was from Ernakulam. The part in thekkady could be better organised if you plan to do trekking in the reserve. We had to book a travel to Kerala during the year-end at a short notice, reached out to Rakesh from Lumiere. Right from the start, he was very receptive (our request was to have an overnight stay in a 2-bed houseboat in Alleppy and a stay at Cochin the following night). Very efficiently managed by Rakesh and his team, the houseboat was top-notch and stay at Crowne Plaza, Cochin was pleasurable (with complimentary breakfast). Highly recommend their services !!

Rakesh always gives us great service and has surpassed himself in the tour. Our driver, was a very nice young man who we got along with very well. His driving was very good and we felt completely safe with him, even in the most difficult driving conditions at times. The hotels chosen by Rakesh were, without exception, excellent. First experience at boathouse was really awesome and the food like house food, superb hospitality ... Disappointed with the houseboat The bathrooms were dirty. The sheets and pillows were sooo dirty and stained . The boat was older than the photos shared . No hot water for shower. Lunch served had bugs and stones in rice . I had to tell the cook. The curries were oily and tasteless They took us to a massage place that was sooo dirty Since we complained to the house boat operators they prepared better food for dinner tea and breakfast.

I had a wonderful holiday enjoying the beautiful scenery through the backwaters thanks to Lumiere Holidays. Communication was excellent (through email and WhatsApp) with a very quick response time. They accommodated special requests for my group of 4 adults. Boat staff was attentive and friendly and made sure all meals were prepared to our liking. The people at Lumiere Holidays were flexible when one leg of my flight was delayed and the driver they arranged for us was there waiting even though we couldn’t update them on whether or not we’d be there at the original landing time. The boat was huge, multiple bedrooms and many dining tables, AC was turned on at night, fans were on during the day. Seating at the front of the boat on both levels allowed easy viewing of passing houseboats and daily life on both sides of the water. Wonderful experience. Excellent customer service.

We booked our Kashmir trip from Kochi through Lumiere Holidays. Our first trip through Lumiere was to Maldives, and it was so perfect! Well, Kashmir trip was a rollercoaster. Rakhi was our spoc and she was excellent as usual. Helped us through each and every stage of the trip and sail through any difficulties faced too. We landed at Srinagar airport and driver took us to the hotel. Although it was a three star hotel and the operations team had promised for bed warmers and central heating, there was only central heating and it was switched on only at certain time basis, not 24x7. We had difficulty in the extremely cold temperature and had to call Lumiere and complain about hotel. Rakhi and Rahul was prompt in escalating the issue and after a while, they switched on room heater. Later, we went to Sonmarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam and the driver allotted to us was really sweet and very professional. The hotel in Pahalgam was a four star hotel, but it was really pathetic. This time central heating was switched on only at 7:30pm. We complained to Lumiere, but the hotel authorities were telling that it takes time for water to get heated up and hence couldn't do much other than waiting. Lumiere gave us an upgrade on the houseboat with good heating and hospitality because of these issues. It feels good to have the confidence that someone is there to escalate and sort out your problems, and we got that from Rakhi and Lumiere Holidays. However, I would say it was a serious fault from the operations team to confirm that central heating and bed warmers are available 24x7, when in actuality they weren't available for full time. This should certainly be an area of improvement for the operations team. Apart from these issues, it was a good trip in overall with a lot of good memories. Thankyou Rakhi, Rahul and team.

We booked our Maldives trip from Kochi via Lumiere Holidays. Excellent service from the team. Rakhi was exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our trip. She made sure everything is perfect. Resort provided was also very nice. Water villa was exceptional, however beach villa was just fine. The WiFi was poor, but not a big deal. The resort staff were really friendly and helpful. We had the most amazing snorkeling experience. The instructors made sure that we got the most incredible view. However, there is a 2½h journey in speed boat from airport to resort, which is a turnoff. Overall it was an amazing couple experience!

We had a customised plan from Kochi for two to Istanbul. It was an amazing trip where we were lucky enough to have a wonderful guide and driver. They truly made the trip easy and hassle-free, guiding us with relevant information and making accommodations for our needs. He also helped us have a very local experience of Istanbul by arranging tram rides, roadside tea’s and very yummy local food. It were truly a blessing disguise. Excellent experience. I had taken honeymoon package from them of Kerala and on this Ms Rakhi give me suggestion of hotels and activities. I had taken kerala tour plan from where I board the flight. Everything was just an Awsome and very well organised with proper planning. The driver which they provide us for our whole tour which is 7 days and 6 night is also very polite along with mind blowing driving skill. Rakhi was the coordinator for this trip. Was a great experience working with her. Anil was the person who went with us and drove us from location to location. I can not say enough positive things about him. For the trip itself, he knew exactly the time to get going to be at our destination on time. He also made excellent suggestions on other things we could do on our spare time. He was very friendly and a great travel companion. Since we have never been to India we were very unsure how to get from place to place. Anil was always there to explain exactly what we needed know. As for the destinations, they were perfect. We felt we got to see some really amazing things. The price was very reasonable too. If we are ever back here, we will book through you again.
