Those from the groom’s side try to take on special significance. Marriage is a beautiful social event in our society. It is a way of establishing new bonds between two people and families. Preparations for the wedding begin shortly after completing the negotiations between the two families. The house is being cleaned, and the wedding arrangements are complete. Orders are placed for decorations and wedding dresses. Arrangements were made for a lavish dinner and a place for the groom’s wedding. Luxury invitation cards are printed and sent to friends and relatives well before the event. Two or three days before the ceremony, the house ladies sing and dance in a circle called the ladies sangeet. 👌

ABOUT : Bolgatty Palace is a former palace built by the Dutchin India on Bolgatty Island of Mulavukad Panchayat in Kochi, Kerala. One of the oldest existing Dutch palaces outside Holland, this quaint mansion was built in 1744 by Dutch traders and later extended and gardens were landscaped around it. The building was then the Governor's palace for the commander of Dutch Malabar, and in 1909 was leased to the British. It served as the home of the British governors, being the seat of the British Resident of Cochin during the British Raj. In 1947, when India attained independence, the palace became the property of the state and was converted into a heritage hotel resort. Bolgatty Palace has a swimming pool, 9-hole golf course, ayurvedic centre, and daily Kathakali performances and is a holiday destination for tourists. There is in a temple dedicated to Shiva that is the first of its kind in Kerala.[citation needed] The best time to visit the Bolgatty Palace would be from October to April since Kochi would have wonderful weather during this time.

Good ambiance with spacious parking and auditorium and additional space for settig up party hall are a few high lights to mention, but the public road leading to it is not well maintained.

Govt property. It has all limitations of govt management. Rates r reasonable. If rate matters den KTDC or else HYATT near by

Recommending this to all who are looking for a good place to celebrate Marriage Receptions, Birthday Parties etc. One of the best convention centres in Kerala

If you are looking for an ideal place to celebrate your wedding reception or such events, this would be one of my favourite suggestions. Recently attended an engagement function there, and the atmosphere was awesome. If you have a cool theme for your event, this is the place where you can execute it. Facilities provided are excellent. Adequate parking spaces, large green-open areas, and the best thing is, all these things are happening on the side of the lake. Light breeze from the lake, delicious food, mood lighting and music on the background..❤

We checked in the property on 21st, June,23 and will be checking out today (23/6/23).Our stay is in palace suite, which was extremely spacious with very high ceilings and colonial style interiors.The rooms are very clean and very well maintained.We found the housekeeping staff pleasant, well mannered and helpful.Mr.Shankar at the front office desk was also found to be very professional and dedicated to his job in attending to the issues of the guests.Having travelled to most tourist destinations of the country i found this property extremely one of the best tourist destinations in India, thanks,Dr.Titus John

Bolgatty Palace is a former palace built by the Dutch in India on Bolgatty Island in Kochi, Kerala. This wooded palace has large halls, tiled roofs, wooden-framed glass windows, and strong wooden carved doors. There is also an amazing park situated close to the palace. In the year of 1923, a nine-hole golf course was built around the Bolgatty Palace. This beautiful place has a swimming pool, luxurious suites, a golf course, ayurvedic spa facility, a multi cuisine restaurant etc. The spacious rooms, part of the original structure, has antique furniture reminiscent of a memorable past. The KTDC organizes Kathakali and other cultural performances at the palace.This palace is seen in many films like 'Yes Boss',Nirakoottu and vellinakshathram etc.

Main hall and podium are spacious and can accomodate any crowd. There is a hall opposite to the main hall where you can arrange food. The adjacent area where you have lake view is customisable & provides great vibe. Altogether nice experience guaranteed!!
