Visited recently. Very poorly maintained park with nothing to be explored. Just a simple backyard walk with fence with a cost of 125/- for adults and 60/- for kids. Also want to point out that the swings and other kid activity properties are not maintained and some of them are partially broken with no warning or restrictions provided. Please don't include this place if you want to enjoy the time you have with your family or friends. ' Please don't plan after watching some travel reel on Instagram '

We have seen this on Instagram and went there except butterfly park nothing is there to see in garden. Not worth for the price. Parking for car costs ₹50. We paid 500 for 3 person with car parking. Even they charge for mobile phones. Still you can spend a day there as family with kids. Well paved paths so that you don’t have to remember the way back

Don't visit here friends. Nothing is inside only trees that's all, Totally waste of time and a waste of money. Totally 2 Hrs Waste. They're Collecting Rs 125 for each member. Rs. 75 for camera entrance and Rs.50 for Parking... Please avoid this place if your tourism list has this name... According to the big entrance fee, They're not maintaining the park. That's why I'm advising not to go there...

Nilgiri biosphere national park situated in coimbatore district near aanaikaaty reserve forest . I think no public transport available from aanaikatty . One of the elephant corridor in coimbatore. We need to reach by our own vehicle. Lot of parking space available in NBSP . for adults they collect 100 rs per head . For parking 50 rs . For camera 50rs they I'll collect . 70 to 100 acre land with native trees. Fish aquarium situated in near gate. Tent stay available for tourists. All native trees with sign board inside the campus . Between the planting area some sign board about mamals, birds , reptiles present in the park. Small ponds are in the park. Children play area with some sports also available. Around 130 birds species available in the park . Like hornbills, barbet , flycatcher, owls, raptors . Spotted deer roaming freely in the park. Good place to enjoy the nature.

Good place to be in nature.... This place is located 24 km away from coimbatore and near to Tamil Nadu Kerala border. You can easily reach here by two or four wheelers.. Road is really good. Park is well planned structure with nice trail to walk among tree. They have almost all the tree labelled. It contains domestic animal area where you can see horse, cow, goat and sheep. They have enclosure for duck ans rabbits. In one part of part there is small garden of all the herbal plant with there common and scientific name. Most beautiful part of garden is butterfly garden where u can see many different buttery and verity of flowers. Trail walk is best part of it of garden. It is well planned and contains informative stop in between. They have aquarium alos but they really need to improve it to call as aquarium. Small eatery is also available but when we went there they only served black tea. They do had some soft drink also. After long trail I was expecting something more to eat. So it will be better if u carry ur own meal with you. Also carry ur own water bottle or u can purchase it from village before you go to park. Washrooms were clean and decent. This is perfect place for one day family gateway. Entry fee was little pricey. 100 rs pere person and you have to pay 75 rs for digital camera. Paid parking is available.

I'm gonna shoot off by showcasing the biosphere parks positives. - sufficient parking available inside the compound. - has a playground for kids. - lots of interesting facts and names as you walk through the park. - tree platform ( see pictures ) was a good addition to the park. - we'll maintained pathways ( don't expect a concrete curb, this is a park ). - a compound with a bunch of farm animals. The negatives - the water bodies in the park were not well maintained (reason for 4 stars). - a bit of trash along the pathway. - the park could use a bit of maintenance. Overall it is around 2.5 - 3 km of walk in total, And a good place to spend time with family and friends. It is about 10 minutes from Anaikatti main road. PS: don't forget to bring your water bottles. BONUS: There is a small hidden stream nearby which is super beautiful, ask the locals for the route. Happy walking !!

Other than trees, poor maintenance on all locations. A very few butterflies are seen. No honey bees, ducks, and rabbit cages are to be cleaned periodically. Many of the plants are dried, and name boards are only available. Entry ticket for adults Rs 125, Rs60 for kids and Rs 50 for car parking. It's situated near Anaikatti about 35km from coimbatore City.

The Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park, which I visited recently, is a pleasure to wander around in. With an array of indigenous species and a lovingly laid out herbal garden, it has been planted with meticulous care. Plantings are still being done in this park that reminded me of a young forest. Muthuswamy, who showed me around with unmistakable pride, told me how species after species had been carefully collected over thirty years. His botanical knowledge and obvious love for trees made my experience all the more special. The Park also has exhibits with images and information of indigenous species of both flora and fauna conceived to arouse curiosity in both adult and child. It also boasts a proud collection of seeds and a nursery where indigenous varieties are propagated for distribution. A special thanks to Mr. Solomon who responded to a visitor's interest by generously arranging the guided walk through the Park; it made my visit one I will look back on with pleasure. Thank you for being so responsive, and welcoming!

Very well maintained and managed. Lots of things to learn from small kids to research scholars. Most of the tree species are endemic to western ghats. We're so lucky to have a glimpse of different birds 'including the Malabar hornbill'!!

Very nice place to spend time with kids and family as well. We can encounter so many species of trees 🌳. No hybrids. It's kind of dense forest. They do have play area as well like cricket 🏏 net, basketball 🏀. Entry fees is not costly but definitely all can enjoy without age factor.

I felt little bit interrior...small one but very dense plantation...rs 150 they are charging for tickets, you have small animal shed, and basketball area. They said to be careful as there might be snakes and you can spot some deer if u r lucky..but it is very adjacent to forest area.. kids play area is there...and small snacks station...one time visit okay....

Visited this place twice. It is closed on Sundays. It is a good hangout place for folks in Coimbatore. Can't expect much. They charge 100 per adult. They have two or three usual animals. But they have thousands of different varieties of trees. Useful for people who study and do research in relevant field. They sell some plants and pure honey as well. Be prepared with your own food as they don't have any restuarants. Won't even get a tea here. Be prepared for it. You can take a walk the place which would be around one and half kilometres. They have few games like swings and seesaw for kids. Good for one day visit as a group.

It’s a very good place for bird watching. Location deep within the western Ghats makes it perfect for spotting some endemic and rare birds. Paths are well-laid out and the cafe is extremely useful considering the isolated nature of the area. It’s a safe place for bird watching in an elephant conflict ridden zone like Anaikatti. Availability of Birding Checklists and Maps will make the park more visitor friendly.
