I came here from Oregon for the Spy-Posium and didn't even know the East Campus existed. It is absolutely full of incredible stuff like the F117 and a Saturn V F1 rocket motor. It is also their restoration shop so you can see aircraft being actively restored. I walked through most of it with an excellent staff member(Denny I believe) who gave absolutely excellent information on almost anything in the building including preparing the F117 for display. Cannot recommend the short shuttle ride over enough, definitely worth visiting!

First time visiting. Enjoyed not only the history of the airplanes,WWI, WWII, Golden Era. They were motorbikes, cars, and 1of only 2 active B29 bombers there visiting. Many future events lined up. Will definitely be returning. Bought the annual pass, which is accepted at other museums.

This was a place within the area we were staying for a fall weekend. It was well worth the visit. Spent almost three hours within the buildings. The planes, helicopters, etc all have a story in history. They have rides for the kids, simulators and a theater. Watching the volunteers working on the restorations was very cool. Pricing was decent. Did buy some items at the store, a bit pricey, but didn't mind since entrance fee was reasonable (senior over 60 and veteran discounts).

Looking for something to do in the area, we found this amazing place. We expected we would be there an hour but ended up being there 2.5 hrs. So many different planes to see, lots of interactive things for the kids (young and old), and area devotes to DC Comics and a space section as well. Once finished in this area, we walked the path out to the building where they restore old planes and got to see more along with some being restored. We would definitely recommend if you have any interest in planes!

Amazing museum for kids and military/aircraft enthusiasts. Lots of cool and unique airplanes, and access to two different buildings which one needs to visit (you'll find the SR-71 in the first building while the F-117 is on the second building). I recommend at least 2 hours to view the exhibits and read through them.

Great place to visit. They have lots of interesting things for kids to do here. There are several rare aircraft no one else has in a museum. 2nd building is a short walk down the path to see the F117 and planes they are working on.

This place is awesome. Whether you live around it or are visiting Kalamazoo, this is a must go to place if your child or you are into avionics or flight history. New exhibitions since our last visit.

It is a breathtaking adventure filled with war aircraft information. The atmosphere is very serene. There is plenty to learn here about aircrafts generally. The staff are friendly and courteous. There is plenty of parking spots.

Flew in and was greeted on the ramp by some passionate folks that were happy to see us. My 2yo had a blast and I saw some stuff up close I had never seen before (F117, F17F, Grumman Mallard). A+ do not worry about flying in.

The best! The staff were so amazing! Terri was absolutely the best! She took the time make sure we had the most educational experience ever! My grandson was so inspired by the restoration projects. And Ken was so gracious to show us what he was working on. Such knowledge and dedication to his work. Thank you!!

Helpful staff, excellent displays, fun for all ages, and a very cool active aircraft restoration area. Restaurant fare was very good with reasonable food prices, and the dining area overlooks the main display floor from the 2nd floor balcony. Would've liked to see info placards at all outdoor historic aircraft, but Google Lens is a big help to identify them.

The entire air zoo is pretty awesome. Plenty for everyone, rides for both small kids and grownups, plenty of airplanes of all kinds in great shape, they have half a building dedicated to space travel too, and there's even a movie theater for documentaries that are relevant (they rotate between more than one movie per day). There's a place to eat, gift shop, and a nice indoor play area for kids too (foam blocks and things to build with, not like a playground). There's a shuttle between a couple of the buildings or it's also walkable in about 5 minutes with planes to look at along the way. You can see the progress on restorations too which is cool. All in all, definitely worth checking out.

A wonderful experience for the whole family! Prices are reasonable, including food, and the rides and attractions inside are included in the price. We visited both buildings, and the entire day just flew by. We're definitely going to go back, because we ran out of time to see everything. The staff were super friendly and the entire place was very clean. Be sure to get to the back building for a front-line experience you won't get anywhere else. Also, the back wings in the front building are super cool, and we waited too long in the day to really experience them. And, do I even need to talk about the flight simulators??? Strongest High Recommendations for the Air Zoo! We'll definitely be back!

Prices vary-military, senior, EBT WIC discounts. See pic. If you walk the path back to the original building, you'll see more planes on the path. There were many people taking advantage of the big lawn areas-playing, eating, etc.. Interactive things for kids and adults. Took about 3hrs to do both buildings.

Very nice place for a half day visit. We flew in and parked on their ramp (just ask tower for "The Museum"). Very welcoming staff and the guy who walked us to/from the ramp was also a pilot. The museum itself is overall not too big, but it is themed in a way that kids should like it a lot. They also have some really cool airplanes like THE SR-71 and Shaba (f117 nighthawk). The food stall was actually really good and served tasty sandwiches. If you're an EAA member, entry is free!!!

We had a blast here! It was beautiful and learning about all the aircraft was awesome. We are homeschool family so this was a great learning experience for our kids! We will for sure be back often!

Very fun and educational place! Very exciting to see the exhibits they have and get a feel for just how large these aircraft are! My kids had a lot of fun looking at and playing here, it was hard to get them to leave!

We were all very excited to visit as it says there are 4 flight simulators as well other attractions inside. Unfortunately there was only 1 simulator working, with no explanation why. As it can only fit 2 people and each session lasts a couple of minutes, it meant queuing for almost an hour to have a go! And it wasn't even busy. If we were warned about it when buying tickets, we would have thought twice about spending over $100! Several other interactive machines were not in use (but without even a sign to say they were out of order). Massive disappointment. I can't even comment on the simulator because I gave up after 30min. The only reason for the 2stars (instead of 1) is the other building -flight discovery centre. It is next to an airport so you can enjoy watching planes but going inside is a must- this is where they restore planes. What makes it great is seeing the before and after and having those who restored these planes talk to you and answer any questions. Flight discovery centre -5 stars, flight innovation centre- 0 stars!

This museum is fantastic and family friendly. It is very educational and fun to spend a whole day with your kids. there is a theater, a playground, and some exciting activities to do. For the price you pay for the ticket, you can even visit two centers. I realize air zoo is worth us coming back to visit it over and over again. I strongly recommend it for everyone with kids.

The air zoo was such a fun time for my whole family! So much to see and do. My son loved sitting in all the cockpits and riding the rides. The café was pretty good. Will definitely be going back. Make sure to visit BOTH buildings. They're a short walk, shuttle or drive from each other.

Love the visit today. It was a great day. Got to view the Cockpit of 2 planes and a jet. Enjoyed a movie about WWII on Lake Michigan. Love seeing the planes that are in restoration that were brought up from the bottom of Lake Michigan.
