Definitely a favorite when we return to Kalamazoo! Food was great, service and prices too. If you have a oeanut allergy, use caution, they do allow peanuts throughout the restaurant.

Party of 6 and everyone was happy! The food was great, friendly service and clean. I forgot to take food pics but the flavors were on point! I wish guac was served on the side tray for the fajitas and our table wasn't bussed before dessert was served so we were a bit cramped but manageable. Oh, and the cake slices are giant!

This place puts a southern spin on the Midwest diner. It serves healthy portions of meat and potatoes at a price that the average Joe can afford. Service is always friendly and we never have to wait. I especially like the baked sweet potato and my husband likes the hamburgers.

The food is fantastic, our waiter Austin was the best server we have had in a long time. We will definitely be going back. Normally I give both sides of the coin where my wife and I dine. I can say this Texas corral on west main street was one of the nicest dining experiences we have had in a long time. Highly recommended for mid priced eating and relaxing. My wife said the peach daiquiri was fantastic and my spicy bloody Mary was balanced and delicious.

My daughter wanted to go here for her 10th birthday. The food was very good and the staff was nice. From steaks to appetizers we got full. They came out singing happy birthday and since she has not ever seen it before it was awesome. She loved it. Highly recommend. Steak was medium just the right way. Ribs just fell off.

Food was delicious and cooked according our wishes. However, their liquor dept didn't have stock for specialty bourbon drinks as advertised nor did they have mint for a specialty bourbon tea. Also, one of the dessert s we chose was also out of stock. It was a Friday night...not good for the crowd they had there. Otherwise service was great. Allison was a great server.

The service was good. The mushrooms were excellent! The macaroni on the other hand, I could have made better in my own kitchen. It was legit off brand Kraft I think. Very disappointed with it.

I enjoyed my visit at this Texas Corral location. We were promptly greeted and had a table right away. The rolls were steaming hot & fresh. The butter is amazing. The salad was well prepared and a great presentation. The appetizers and main entrées were cooked to order and also had a great presentation. Service staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

The table behind us ordered steak but the requested medium-rare turned out to be well well done. When steak arrived at my table, we had the same issue, very over done steak. Please consider retraining your grill cooks on preparing what I'm sure is your most requested item on the menu. However, we had wonderful service.

We tried Ribs, Appetizer platter, chicken soup and sweet potato. We enjoyed the food 🔥 We love their service and ambiance of the hotel. Meat was very soft and in good quality 😍

Seems like a local favorite. We had really good service. The atmosphere was laid back as casual. Loved the decor. The food was okay. Salmon was your basic flavoring. The rolls and butter were very tasty. Ribs and steak are basic. The nachos not pictured were the favorite.

Unwelcoming experience: This web page says that reservations are accepted so I called earlier today to schedule one but was told they don't accept reservations? She did tell me to stop in when it was getting close to the time that we wanted to dine and they'd put us on the list. We did that this evening and the dark haired server with glasses (hostess?) told my husband that we'd have a 35 minute wait. We went back 25 minutes later and I started to explain that we were back for our table. She rudely cut me off and said we don't take reservations..... Sigh....I told her what I explained above and she said we disappeared because they had a table for us 10 minutes after my husband was told it would 35 minutes? She grabbed our flatware and started walking so I followed. She sat us at a booth but i don't know why we were treated that way? As I explained to her, we were only following what we were told, plus, there were several open tables at the time we were seated so it's not like she had to squeeze us in. I am a former restaurant owner, and honestly, her behavior was not necessary nor welcoming and it bordered on badggering. Our male server was excellent though plus the food was timely and very good. We will return but one more bad experience upon arrival will keep us from returning again.

What ever you do, DON'T get there signature dish the Texas Carrol Chicken. You might as well call it unflavored chicken soup. Had to ask for another player to find my chicken and pull it out of the 3 inchs deep of sauce. Not to mention there uncooked mushrooms. Was nasty. Kids wouldn't eat and neither would the dog.

The steak sandwich is what I chose this time with melted cheese , fresh mushrooms, and onions! For my side dish I ordered waffle fries loaded with cheese, bacon and green onion! For desert I split a piece of Texas chocolate cake with my husband! The steak was perfectly moist, tender and Medium Rare just like I ordered. The waffle fries were so mouth watering delicious I may just order a double of those next time, haha. No seriously, this would be grand! Then of course it's never a complete dinner here without a piece of Texas Chocolate Cake!

Usually satisfied with my meal. I ordered a sirloin med well, came back well..sent that one back, next time came back rare. Once again sent back.they say the third times the charm, not in this case. The steak came back well done again. The manager did give e $5.00 off my meal, which I appreciated. I guess the cook was having a bad day.

We had dinner at TC for our wedding anniversary. The food was great and service was great. We ordered an appetizer and wine which arrived promptly. As we were finishing the appetizer, our salads arrived; as we finished the salads, the entrees arrived. The steaks were cooked as we requested. I can't remember the last time we had service that good. Maddie did a fabulous job.

Demi was super nice and sweet. I loved the big water glasses. Cleans and food came out fast enough

Typical roadhouse/chain restaurant vibe, amazing service however. We tried the waitresses suggestion and were pleased with the meal. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Overall good spot to have a meal at a decent price.

The rolls are phenomenal. I could eat that as a meal, yum! I had the Alfredo, and it was bland. Even salt, pepper, or Parmesan cheese couldn't have made it taste better. The garlic bread was tasty.

This is our family's go to spot! We absolutely love the rolls! The ribs are my husband's and sons favorite! I like their chicken! You should try this place if you haven't already. It just might become your go to spot too!

Date took me for the first time for dinner. There was a wait, but it wasn't awful and I expected as much. Our server was very attentive and polite. Food was really good as well. I would definitely visit again.

Was an awesome restaurant to eat at. Friendly staff. Waitress was one of the best I've had in a long time. She was Friendly and helpful with the menu. She was very fast with getting what we ask for. Food came out hot and fast. The chicken and dumping soup was awesome. I'll definitely be back.

This is delicious!!! The meat is so right cooked and the mashed potatoes are soft and creamy. I really super recommend the place.

I would like to give a big shout of THANKS to the staff today at the Texas Corral on W. Main for going above and beyond their duty to look for my mom's ring that I thought I lost in the restroom when I dried my hands with the paper towel. My mom passed away 7 years ago and I was beside myself. I ended up finding it in the bottom of my purse where it slipped off when I got my wallet out and I didn't notice it. Not only was the meal delicious but the staff was amazing and I can't thank them enough. I am so happy I found it. Thank you again to the staff. I hope some of them will see this post. You are the best.👍👍

I miss the peanuts but, cool place nice atmosphere! Food overall is good the cinnamon butter and rolls are tasty!

I really wish I was better with names because our waitress absolutely deserves a shout out. We are in town for my father in law’s funeral. Needless to say everyone has been down. The waitress had my wife and sister-in-law laughing and enjoying the night out for a short while. The morale pickup really means a lot to me. Our waitress didn’t know why we were in town she is just very bubbly and seemed to enjoy her time there (SHE WAS WEARING A1 STEAK SAUCE EARRINGS!). Overall the service was superb, the food was great the price was very fair and, The building was quiet! (You all know who my comparison on the noise level is about) we will definitely be back when we are in the area. To our waitress (terribly sorry I can’t remember your name) I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made our short encounter very enjoyable and you deserve every bit of recognition I could possibly give through a google review. If you ever make it to Iowa keep an eye out for us! I had a wonderful time, I ordered the shrimp and they were cooked to perfection. They were lightly breaded and deep fried to perfection. The best I have ever had. Our server was a nice young man, I had a couple questions that he had to check on and he always came back with a big smile. He made you feel as though you might be his only table but they were very busy and he was always on the move.
