A very good hospital with all the amenities and concept of ensuring the world class treatment available to people. The staff is a major disappointment in here, starting with support staff, nurses, supervisors and administrators who doesn't know what to do, how to manage crowd, how to talk and treat people. We were told to do dialation and the area where it happens is over crowded, nurses don't give you any attention, the doctor on the other hand was very helpful and explained all my queries, thanks to Dr. Prabu sir. Located within the city limit, in a lush green cool environment, it will fill your heart with a pleasant feel. ***Advise to management, if service is your vision, please ensure the staff and administrators behave well and with respect to patients. Be better at crowd management. ****Update after recent visit : Glad to see the improvement, support staff, nurses were polite this time, crowd management seems to be the only problem I see.

Bad experience during and after cataract surgery for my Dad. Doctors think they are offering a free service for us, and don't explain about the procedures well. After cataract if the vision is not as expected, they blame other problems. Why not tell us about other problems BEFORE the procedure? After spending so many hours in the hospital, the 'Doctor' talks to the patient for few seconds.. as if he is in a great rush. What other Rush other than explaining patient queries? Pathetic service!!!

Worst hospitality. Staff members assigned were lethargic to the core. No proper sequence followed in queue. Waited for 5 hours due to misarranged files sent in the queue. Lunch time was quoted as a reason. A day wasted. They have enough time to chitchat. intermediate staff were totally un professional and got zero etiquettes. After facing all these , doctors were polite and treated us well.Happy with doctors but frustrated with staff. disastrous experience. On a lighter note - cleanliness of the hospital , parking, canteen facilities , equipments maintained by the trust are class. Staff categories- persons handling patient files , fee receptionists ruin the other good things arched by the trust. Doctors - 9/10 Other staffs - 0/10 And finally Admin team- Me as a patient taking time to review your services. You may monitor and question your staff to understand the ground reality rather than questioning reviewers.

Till the operation gets done they ll behave all nicely... Once it's done they ll not even turn back for any help.. and also they are not giving any kind of scan report to us.. if insisted for reports they are telling it's against our policy we can't provide any scan report.. we are paying for the scan taken then what is wrong in giving us the report..

I recently had the menace to visit the Sankara Eye Hospital and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was given a good impression by the kindness of the staff. They made me feel congenial and at ease throughout my visit, I am so happy to be cognizant of the entire team since I never felt like being waited redundant as they have a great indisputable institution & sophisticated technology in place to make everyone more sheltered. The facilities were splendid and the paraphernalia is state-of-the-art. I am dazzled by the care and attention given to every patient in the best possible way they can. The doctors were erudite and adept, and they took the enough to explain every aspect of my treatment plan in a simple manner. The best part of my visit is the ongoing progress of vision therapy for my niece. I am happy to report that my niece's vision issue has improved significantly. I am grateful to the Sankara Eye Hospital for their exceptional care and support throughout my niece’s treatment experience. To a large extent, I would like to allude my admiration to Dharshini & Keerthana who have been doing their position of exercise out of their way, ( Honestly the entire team in VT ) making the patients & their acquaintance more comfortable by creating such a friendly environment, Overall, I would highly speak favorably of “ Sankara Eye Hospital ” to anyone needing idiosyncrasy eye care in Coimbatore and other places as well. They truly go above and beyond to ensure their patients receive the best possible care. Wish you all good luck :-)

Good place for care of the eyes. Edit after an operation for removal of pterygium. Very efficient and time saving process, right from making the appointment for the operation over the phone, to a checkin process of less than 5 minutes. Very professional and caring staff and very clean and tidy rooms. God bless each of you.

Went for eye checkup yesterday; fantastic facilities, excellent infrastructure, very systematic procedures and nice ambiance by the staff; but doctor interaction in my case was poor probably due to the crowd; the nurses were hurrying her up; after checking through the equipment she just asked whether there was any irritation and the nurse literally stowed me out. Wanted to know about the cataract/possibilites of it, but wasn't allowed to ask anything. Hinted about my comfort with the language also if that could be the issue but no time for any of it. Consultation includes patient doctor-interaction also besides all those tests. (MRN SEC/657283/22)

Last time I went to treat my dry eyes. Got better treatment than any other hospitals. The following is my suggestion: it is mentioned as open till 7 pm but when I checked with reception, they said only till 4 pm. They refused to allow after 4 pm. To serve the community better, atleast they should work till 6 pm. So students or working people can visit after their working hours.

SLOW Eye Hospital: காத்திருந்து காத்திருந்து காலங்கள் போகுதடி "Wait Wait & Exhaust" Every time you go, you get one kind of WORST EXPERIENCE One Of TOP WORST EYE Hospital in handling Patients.. I am posting this review after visiting this hospital 10+ times in short period of time.(MY FATE) Reception - Token system & Billing Slow) Power Checkup - Moves Somewhat Faster Dilution Process - Nurses Don't check at time after dilution Assistant Doctors - Don't Respond in LOCAL Language, speaks in Malayalam to elder patients.Even North Indian nurse's try to speak Tamil with locals. Main Doctor - Have to wait for visiting main doctors, They Didn't explain the problem clearly to patients or attender, Only simple words like surgery needed). Final Checkup - If you're elder person straight Operation only, otherwise get prescription from optical. Good thing is Nowadays they don't compel to Buy Specs from them. Pharmacy - Sometimes there is only one Lady in pharmacy takes much queue/time to bill and dispatch items... Main 1 item is not available needed for surgery, they are asking to buy from outside. Not stocking properly.. Main Problem is full of Kerala people's employed, so if any kerala patient came for check up. With them One employee goes with them and provide detailed information it's like EXPRESS Consultation for them.). Lab Section - is one of the MOST SLOW you will get Frustrated, for simple blood or urine test it takes 1.30hrs to call Patients for sample.. and extra 2.30hrs + for Doctor Check-up. SURGERY - Beware AVOID retina surgery here, after 1st review they will say Blood is still there, Then have to do another MINOR SURGERY Again to remove it. 1st we thought it's for ourselves only until we meet another known person with same type of Retina Operation ( did the same operation there, and they said blood left and he visited again 2 times for Procedures.) SCAN REPORT SCAM - They get ₹1000's for scans, but they don't give reports when ask it's for their reference. if we ask for COPY they are asking to pay again same amount for just ₹2rs Scan Printouts.. so pay 500 for scan and extra 500 for report of needed. If you go via CASHLESS INSURANCE or REIMBURSEMENT you got pain in a**, They don't send Detailed Bill to Insurance Company, the send summary and the insurance company consider as COMPOSITE PACKAGE (which in star health don't Pay fully, 20% loss for us). If you went to get sign in form for Reimbursement the lady get the documents and ask to come next review time (which is 6+ days for me. It's just ONE Page that to Stamp half and write few little words). Must not have choose this hospital for my mother's surgery, not satisfied completely via service.. FREE TRUST ACTIVITIES - What's sad is how they treat FREE Camp Persons, Nurse & even watchman yelling at them in 1st floor. ZERO RESPECT if you go via Free camp or discounted via trust...No cleanliness also. Room allocated for us was okay but bathroom has stains.. If you visit for EYE CHECKUP it's okay, otherwise it's worst for Surgery. Here everyone don't work properly SIDE-EFFECTS of TRUST HOSPITAL

Job well done. This is a charity hospital and they are doing pretty good job, can see huge number of people benefiting from this institute daily.. For someone who is ready to pay for the service, this place may not suite as people are nice however they could be more kind enough. For someone who wants to be aware of what's going on, the procedure, proper communication about everything, this place may come short on these. Could be much better if they are little more approachable. There is a popular saying that everybody in service industry should know "It didn't matter what you have done to help, is good you made them feel". People should not be left alone making us worry about what's happening and just asking to be seated. Still, the task is done well with no complications. The premises is pretty huge, car parking available, infrastructure is average.

Hi all, please be aware...I took treatment for my mother in Sankara hospital, they did all checkups and test for both eyes 2 days..after doctor told some problem in left eye and again one more eye test on next day and they charged 1500 rs . We asked hospital people to share test reports for glancing , what was happening to verify, but they never share none of the details and they are hiding our medical report, after asking details..so we understand that their business trick..so please careful they will swipe your wallet s...be cautious..better to avoid this type of hospital...

Kindly improve laboratory, took more than 2 hours just to take a blood sample because of the crowd as only 1 staff was there.

After researching best eye hospitals decided to go with Sankara eye hospital for my cataract. My appointment process with Dr JK reddy was seamlessly facilitated by Puja R and she ensured every preoperative consultation/checkup was going as expected. Dr answered all pre-operative queries I had to my satisfaction. The staff also are qualified and patient. There is clear communication at each counter on the directions and next steps. The counsellor too explained the overall scenario/options and what to expect post surgery. My surgery is yet to be scheduled sometime next week once the advanced IOL lens has been finalized. Looking forward to a successful experience. Thank you team Sankara 🙏

Jaivant Balu, my 6-year-old son, was recently diagnosed with glass power and mild squint. The doctor recommended immediate attention for squint correction through regular eye therapy. Following our pediatrician Dr. Rajesh Prabhu's advice from Sankara Eye Hospital, we visited a Saravampatti base hospital for a comprehensive squint evaluation and therapy. As parents, it's crucial to be aware of early-stage squint identification and correction through regular eye therapy. The low vision department at Sankara Eye Hospital has been commendable in improving vision and correcting early stage squint. Jaivant is comfortable with the staff and undergoes regular eye therapy. It's advisable for every parent to ensure a comprehensive eye checkup for their kids before school to prevent unnecessary vision loss in the early stages of life. Thanks lot to Sankara Eye Hospitals team for your kind support. Regards Balu Paramasivam
