Such a blissful vibe. Great place. It's not just any regular cafe. They have books, a guitar, cats, dogs and a lovely ambience.

The place is so peaceful and pretty. They give the best mango shake. I travelled for like 10kms from my hotel to this place 2 Times just for that mango shake. It's Aastha and Nikhil Robby if you r reading this. Thankyou for hosting us. :)

Located very close to the Auroville parking area. The place is very nice and the food provided was very good with love. I had my dinner for a week and I didn't get bored. I loved the place and the environment is very nice and soo natural. Surrounded by mango trees(farm). Robbie is very nice and friendly. It's a nice place to hangout and have a talk with him all the time. You won't feel you are lonely if you travel alone. Amma(lady in kitchen) is also very kind and caring. Love those pets, very cute and calm. Miss Sparkle.

Best place to stay if you're on a tight budget! Normal beds with a mosquito net on a tree house dorm. It's quiet outside and you can wake up to sound of nature in the morning. What a natural experience! The bathrooms are also quite usable. (don't expect 5 star amenities when you're not ready pay that much). The host Robbiee is a really fun guy too, had a great time chatting with him. Definitely gonna stay here again

It turned out to be an incredible stay at Robbiee's. I had a bed upstairs for 5 nights. The location was convenient should one wishes to stay closer to the visitors center entrance of Auroville. The dorm is well kept, clean and has 3 fans inside to cope with the heat. The mattress was comfortable and sheets/pillow are provided. There are 2 washrooms, one Western with a shower and another Indian bathroom. Easily accessible and there is enough light to use them after dark also. It was lovely to listen to Robbie's stories and Amu as they setup the hostel at this location and looking to host fellow travellers without much fuss. I felt quite comfortable and there are regular visitors such as artists like Adam from Nigeria who has paintings inside the Flame restaurant. I met new travellers as they arrived and to learn from them. The food menu is well-balanced. Prices are reasonable given the location and availability. It has a varied selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, tea/coffee and refreshing blue pea drink on warm days with daily specials. See the board for the specials. Music can be played there also. The restaurant has both options of sitting on the ground as well as tables and chairs. Celing fans are there. Robbie was effective and efficient in looking after everyone's needs and myself. He made a good breakfast before morning departure. Amu was helpful and friendly. It was him who enlighten myself to their vision of hosting travellers. I would recommend this place for future travellers who look for a safe stay with simplicity yet funk, easy on the financial side. The dogs are quite friendly and love the attention with cats hanging around also. There are mango trees, blue peas, hibiscus, grass and wild plants growing. Wifi connection works like a charm and is high speed for seamless wireless connectivity. Best wishes to you folks and thank you!!!

This is near entrance of auroville.🛣️ Various food options are available. 🍱 Stay is also available, for us it was 250/person on weekdays. (May 2023) 🏠 Plenty of parking space: you can park car and 5-6 two wheelers easily. 🅿️ Wifi is there (100-150mbps) 🛜 The owner(robbiee) is very friendly and will guide you for your pondy trip. ✅
