Before booking this hotel, I came across reviews mentioning that it was a new establishment. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try after exploring Rajasthan for two weeks and having various experiences. The hotel is indeed newly built, having opened in March of this year, and it's evident that there was a significant investment. The reception was a positive experience; Bhavesh was exceptionally nice and polite, providing us with useful information. His proficiency in English made communication easy, and I am grateful for his assistance. The rooms were spacious and clean, with an effective ventilation system. The restaurant, located on the first floor, offered a good and decent breakfast. However, what surprised me the most were the lunch menus; they were absolutely delicious! The food was very tasty, and the prices were remarkably reasonable. Honestly, it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had in two weeks, and definitely the most economical. A big plus for that! I believe this observation is related to the cleanliness standards in India in general, as we encountered similar situations at every hotel we stayed in, which is unfortunate, especially in a brand-new establishment. My specific observation pertains to the maintenance of the bathroom; it was clean, but not spotlessly clean. While the toilet seat and sink were well-kept, the water tap and its surroundings were covered in chalk spots. Additionally, the corners in the shower cabin were already showing signs of discoloration, likely due to a buildup of chalk. I mention this in the hope that there will be improvements, as it's a pity considering that everything else was very pleasant and comfortable. My recommendation would be to focus on cleaning and descaling the bathroom walls and floor more rigorously.

We had a lovely experience at the Mangal View Residency. We've had a few average hotels since coming to India, but this exceeds even European standards in service and cleanliness. The rooms were sufficient, great price, and undoubtedly the best service I've received from hotel staff. Every member was positive and helpful, and they even allowed us to use the conference room with the projector at midnight to watch the rugby world cup final. A real over and above level of customer care.

centrally located. Reception and all staff were excellent. WiFi worked really well. Rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean everyday and all the time. I one of the bathrooms(room no. 302) had no shower screen. So one showered on over the toilet??? Otherwise good value for money and would recommend it

Great value for money - new clean rooms, kind service, rooftop restaurant, etc. The staff at reception (forgot their exact names) were very kind and helpful - they kindly provided me early checkin in the morning when I arrived. The only notable disappointment / area for improvement is breakfast (which was included in our room price) - the food options were too limited (especially for Westerners) and the food was the same for all 3-4 mornings I stayed there, so I only had breakfast there once and ate out during the other mornings.

My wife and I were staying 2 nights at the Mangal View Residency (MVR). We arrived by bus in the early morning around 6:30am and my wife didn’t feel too well. Bhavesh Rawal at the front desk was extremely kind and served us drinks as soon as the restaurant opened. He also managed for us to get into an interim room as soon as possible to take a rest until our room was finally ready for checking in. Dhuleshve Ji from house keeping did a great job in supporting the interim & early check-in. Thanks again for this very kind and wonderful service!

Overall decent stay but my room was on 4th floor and it was too noisy as there was kitchen above the room. I complained for the same on both nights i stayed but could not get it resolved. Also, the health faucet of the washroom was leaking. I would like to thank Mr. Bhavesh Raval though as he was quite polite and professional unlike other reception guy.

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was impeccable. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and spotlessly clean. I can't forget to mention the exceptional room service that catered to my every need. This hotel truly knows how to create an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended! Food is very good. There are lot of varieties in Breakfast.

It's a budget friendly boutique hotel with walkable distance from City Palace and Main market - Bapu Bazar. If you are booking a room in this hotel then I suggest to give them a call prior to your booking and make sure the rooms are available with a view. Because in my case, they had given a room with a view of a wall..😀 and then after my request they gave a room with city palace view. Apart from that, people at reception are humble and open for feedback. They do have roof top restaurant with mesmerizing view and with varieties of options and they do prepare food for kids on request basis. Overall , my stay at this hotel was good.
