Excellent place for a few nights stay. I booked last minute and unfortunately had to stay elsewhere after 2 nights but the host was great and organised my next days accommodation at a place he used to work. He spoke good english and gave guests lifts on his scooter if needed;could also organise any day trips wanted. Clean place and about 3 minutes walk from the bus station. Highly recommended.

Great host where nothing was to much trouble, perfect facilities with everything you'd need and a great location for exploring. Would definitely stay again.

Homely place at a budget price. They have a small garden with hammock. They have tents !!! a unique experience.

Best location. Best host. I give five star because I needed a quiet budget place to spend the night and not far from the city centre. Host is really friendly. Safe for solo female travelers as well. Breakfast is available on request. Beautiful quiet place with basic amenities. If you are looking for facilities like hotel this is not a place for you,but if looking for a quiet place, with beautiful nature and you want to catch boat in the morning this is place is for you. Afsal the host also gives you best options for boat rides especially group tour solo traveller's.

Lovely stay with a super caring host. There are only two rooms but the place is so well cared for, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Five stars for the experience and Ifsal's excellent hosting skills. This is the first place in India where I felt the owner is doing something he loves rather than doing it purely for money. The backwaters day tour by canoe is highly recommended and make sure to request some cold toddy on the way back. Thank you Ifsal!

It was hard to leave Orchid Homestay. I loved the atmosphere of the place. The garden is peaceful and the rooms are confortable and clean. Thank you Afsal for being so welcoming and nice. I really enjoyed my time in Alleppey.

Great place to stay .. lovely staff , great , spacious and new rooms for the same price you pay dorms in others places.. excellent location close to boat station (to do backwaters) and helpful staff is gonna help you to organise your activities in the city !
