Amazing place! What a pity that they didn’t create a museum, but rent it out piece by piece (everything is different, different windows, doors, poor fences, all this spoils the view. Sometimes I even regret that we couldn’t save all the wealth that we got with Koenigsberg, and then I even want so that the Germans rule here as before

This place shows power and instills calm. Some entrances are accessible to visitors, as commercial organizations are located there

Huge, but it has been standing in disrepair for a long time, even though there are a number of users inside

Few buildings from the “pre-Soviet” period have survived in the city, but defensive fortifications remain. As their designers intended, the forts withstood military action. Now they show off with dignity, creating a unique city landscape. Indeed, there is no other city on earth that has accommodated in its space the objects of several defensive rings from different eras. The forts are worth visiting and developing. Now, as cultural and educational centers, they attract visitors and immerse them in a special world, a world of silence and philosophical reflection. At the moment, an art project is organized around the Wrangel Tower and a small residential area. A theatrical performance about the life of the Koenigsbergers. Those who lived in neighboring houses and left their memories, their “trace in history.” This is a timeless journey. Traveling through the city space.

A beautiful old building. The scale is impressive. But to understand this you need to go inside.

A huge complex in which it is necessary to find premises and make a historical museum!! Knights in armor and on an armored horse would look natural here...

The bar-restaurant in the former Kronprinz barracks is a rather pleasant place. Quite an extensive menu and interestingly decorated interior. Good service, polite restaurant. While we were waiting for food, we looked through the guest book, which contains many photographs of pop stars who have been here. There is a dance floor and there is live music. Of the minuses: due to the fact that this is a former barracks, there is a certain dampness.

It is very sad to look at such a beautiful building and realize that it is in a sad and neglected state. It needs to be restored and created as a center for tourism and business.

Величественно, дух захватывает. Сейчас, видимо, на реконструкции - все в разномастных заборах и огорожено.

A huge, impressive building. Now it houses various institutions, a department of the city museum operates, and the Night of Museums will be held.

A very beautiful atmospheric building. It’s a pity that they didn’t give it away as a museum.

The historic building has been spoiled by the rental of new offices and dentistry. Their interesting German details have been preserved.

We don’t know how to go into tourism yet... They made an abandoned historical landmark and blocked everything off with ugly fences. And it seems there are no plans to restore the building... 😠
