The Pregel bastion was built in Königsberg in 1851-1862 as an element of the internal rampart fortification of the city by the architect I. Strauss, it closed the eastern flank of the Haberberg front and covered the Pregol River. Directly in front of the reduit there was another water ditch. Next to the bastion, the entrance gate to the city from Friedland was located, which received the same name. In 1910, only the reduit was left of the bastion; all ditches, including the inner one, were filled in. Until 1945, the reduit was used as an ammunition depot. He did not play any significant role in the military history of the city. In the early 2000s, there were auto repair shops, as well as warehouses of the Kaliningrad ship repair plant ZRP (in its place is now the Baucenter). Currently empty. It is located in the middle of an industrial zone, so you need to be a little careful when visiting. As of September 2013, police vans and private security companies are regularly defended. They have nothing to do with the object, but be careful with swag. In 2014 it was transferred to informals. After clearing by the nefors, it was raided and handed over to pro-government bikers for a bike club. Currently they are protected by them.

Beautiful architecture, it’s a pity that it is gradually being destroyed; it’s not clear how to get into the bastion. The shops and services in the bastion are also incomprehensible. It could be a good restaurant.

The night wolves turned an abandoned place into a very cozy place. I honestly don’t know how hard they managed to do it. The result is impressive. There, on the territory, there is also an “almost museum” of Prussia! In which a man, himself, at his own expense, with his own efforts, maintains an exhibition of exhibits dug up over the past 70 years after the war. Chesslovo is worth a visit because it is very impressive!

Bastion Pregel is the lair of the Night Wolves. A well-maintained place with a lot of interesting things for motorcyclists.

An ancient fortification structure, which has been in deplorable condition for a long time. The interior and surrounding area are being tidied up. Currently, it is a club place for bikers who are part of the “Night Wolves” movement. Today, a cafe in the style of a rock club is open in one of the premises.

The place is interesting, but it was not possible to get inside the Museum of East Prussia, the gates were closed. The museum's phone did not answer. It's a pity. But we got to the bastion in a slightly different way 😁 there is a quest “Fort Boyard” for children and adults. It's atmospheric, scary music plays in the background, everything is flooded with red light. It became terribly interesting, I will have to sign up.

If you pass from Dzerzhinsky Street to Kalinin, be sure to look into the Pregel bastion reduit. Interesting place. Bastions and similar places are always striking, namely the architecture. Sometimes rock concerts are held here. Nice place for a walk

The building is home to the Night Wolves motorcycle club; it should not be considered a historical building.

We accidentally wandered into a museum that had not yet opened, thanks to the owner of the museum for an interesting excursion.
