I like everything about this place. Open for all 3 meals….rare. The bacon wrapped dates are a must try. The salmon salad was so very fresh. The staff is well trained and in appropriate numbers. One small caveat….the potato Irish stew dish comes so very hot because it’s cooked in a cup-ish dish that it will be 10 minutes before it’s cool enough to enjoy. It’s tremendous but you gotta let it cool. Can’t wait to try this place for lunch and bfast.

Living in Bigfork and the Flathead Valley provides for some great dining choices! We decided to try the prime rib dinner at Split Rock and we weren't disappointed! An excellent prime rib can be hard to find but the chef and team at Split Rock nailed it. Food was excellent , service was great and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and friendly. Best advice, go early and make reservations. The prime rib sells out quickly. Enjoy!

Two stars is generous. I loved Split Rock when it was in Kalispell. I tried it out here in Bigfork yesterday for breakfast. What a disappointment ... and as my husband said "they better get their act together or they won't be around for long". It was not relatively busy -- service was slow and server was not very pleasant (yet quick to look at her tip before we left). The breakfast sandwich was greasy and the pittance of hash browns (and I mean about 1/3 cup) was also greasy, overly crispy (no soft potato at all), and tasted more like crumbled potato chips.

Amazing local food at all times, friendly staff and food is made quickly, I have ordered from all menus and will say that for breakfast, if you are looking for a sweet thing the ultimate toast crunch is very satisfying, the 2nd street burrito is good, filling, and the hollandaise sauce is well made in comparison to other cafes, just don't get the breakfast sandwich as it isn't flavorful or well proportioned. Coffee was nothing special but wasn't bad. Their benedicts and omelettes are great, you really can't go wrong. For the lunch and dinner menu, the western burger is (in my opinion) the best burger if you like/ are ok with Bleu cheese, the steak sandwich is mediocre, chicken and bacon Mac is amazing, chicken Caesar is amazing, the Cajun fries are great, the southwestern wrap is great for something fresh, overall it is hard to go wrong with the dishes at this place. Great food for the soul and best burgers in town.

Phenomenal food and the service was spot on. Very kind and asked our opinion on the food. I am more then impressed and recommend the white water cocktail and south west chicken wrap

Had breakfast this morning with a coffee for my husband and a latte for me. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

Shrimp Scampi was blah and the garlic was practically raw. Way over priced for the portion and the tea was watered down. The only thing good was the bacon wrap appetizer! 80 bucks and it sucked. Spend the extra 15 minutes on the drive and go to Jagz!! Same money.

Stopped in for lunch to try the place out and it was wonderful! The staff vibes were high, very friendly and helpful. Food tasted amazing! Great attention to detail was put into the food, and you could tell quality ingredients were used. Will be back again.

Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the restaurant. The food was very generous, quite delicious, and great service without breaking the bank. They passed the “true test” of having crispy bacon on the burgers!

Great restaurant! Smaller place. Great food and cocktails! Even has a four machine casino. Wish I would have tried the restrooms to see if it was handicap accessible. Getting in was a little hard because it wasn't handicap accessible but had someone help me up the little curve.

This was not JUST good, this was EXCEPTIONAL. I don't think I have had a meal before (where I ordered app, salad, main course, and dessert) and had EVERY-SINGLE-THING be so outrageously delicious! I am currently stuffed beyond belief because I couldn't STOP. And to top it all off, the wait-staff (Avery-host and Sam-server) were just SOOOO nice. It was the dream dining experience. Like, WHAT!?!? WOW, just wow.

Was super excited to come to the new split rock cafe location. Having been a regular in their kalispell location for over 12 years, I had high expectations. Unfortunately the breakfast I had with my mom on a girls morning was disappointing. I know it has been a tough summer in the Flathead and we have seen the highest numbers in tourists visiting the area, but it took more than 45 minutes to get breakfast for two. Service was sub par, server openly said she was having a bad day and will try to make it through when I asked her how her day was going. When food was finally served everything was cold. Really hoping service and food will improve. Miss the old Split Rock.

This place is amazing! The crunchy French Toast was by far the best breakfast I have had in so long. Great service too! Definitely worth trying.

We were in the area to do some hiking with our dog and stopped in for lunch. The meal was delicious the server was very friendly and professional. It was our first dining experience with our dog and it was a very pleasant first experience. We sat outside at the tables. Definitely recommend.

Wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. It was good. I got the split breakfast and my husband got the ultimate crunch breakfast. On mine there wasn't a ton of gravy so the biscuits were a little dry and the hasbrowns were so crunchy I couldn't cut it with my fork. My husband's was thickkk. It wasn't as much cinnamon flavor as you would expect so it was okay.

Certainly a great surprise in a strip mall on the highway. For what it lacks in ambiance, they more than make up for in quality of food. My prime rib sandwich and my wife's wrap were outstanding! They have a full bar, open kitchen that is clean as a whistle and the service was great. Definitely will stop by again next time I am in Big Fork.

We are locals and love split rock! I'm a bit of a food critic and have not yet been disappointed by the food after having dined in a couple times. Food has always been perfectly cooked and well plated. The portions are also satisfying, and you won't leave hungry. We no longer have to go wait in line at Echo lake Cafe and can come here. Grateful bread has good food but also lengthy service (in our experience). Pocketstone is an okay option but a solid 4th place behind Echo and Split Rock (close tie for first id say), and Grateful bread.

My husband and I got the shrimp scampi. It was absolutely amazing! Our server did a fantastic job and took great care of us. Our favorite place to eat in the valley

Food wasn’t even edible. None of us ate our food it was that bad and cold. When you order a steak sandwich, you would expect steak to be at least warm. French fries were so cold also. Very disappointed.

Bigfork location is a good place to stop for lunch or early dinner. They have a well thought out menu and an open kitchen with a super nice staff. The salads and starters were delicious!

👍👍 You may have to wait a moment but I promise the food is amazing. The chicken fried steak breakfast is perfect. We love the coffee cake but you have to come early as it goes fast. If you are nearby, take your time and enjoy one of the best meals in the area.
