Peaceful motel a bit off the beaten path (we were traveling on I-80 back home to MI). We booked the day of, and had a very late check-in, which was handled smoothly. The whole place was so clean!! The beds and pillows were comfortable and we SO appreciated the reasonably priced family suite (with 3 queens) so our 6 could all have beds to sleep in. The breakfast was simple but the local cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. (a pitcher of ice water set out would be appreciated.) The in room coffee maker wasn't working but the hot coffee in the lobby was hot and fresh! Perfect place for our needs.

The price of the room was about $40 more than it should have been for what they are. We recently stayed in a Hilton in WI for four nights and it was the same rate. The web reviews showed this hotel to be a 4.3 to 4.5 on a scale of one to five. Do not believe those ratings. This hotel is below average, overall. While the room we stayed in appeared to be mostly clean, the hotel is old and run down. The mattress was not comfortable, either. Not a good experience at all.

The rooms were very clean and didn't smell. Could use so.e new mattresses unless you like really soft. Breakfast was ok. Very quiet location.

Nice little inn. Clean rooms and great service. Nothing fancy, but beds are comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast in the morning serves divine caramel frosted rolls and good coffee. Budget friendly! I definitely recommend this place!

At first I thought the only rooms were the ones with doors right out front, right where you pull your car up to, "Motor Lodge" style. They do have several of those rooms, as well as several inside rooms, hotel-style. The check in was great, it's a small town and the courtesy matches. The entire facility and room cleanliness was 11/10, I'm not kidding! I had two personal requests and felt like family was taking care of me once I had all I needed. I told my wife; if I had to travel for business I would do it if I had rooms/places like this to stay while away from home.

We enjoyed our night stay here! The bed was comfortable, the room spacious enough, and the water pressure strong- all things that can normally make for a bad stay. In addition, the staff was kind and even shipped by expensive electric toothbrush to my house after I left if behind-free of charge! Good people, good stay- thankful for their hospitality!
