A huge variety of food menus served hot, Quick as possible with smiling face. Waiters are so polite understanding needs and serves food. Cost is also affordable. Very near to Gandhipuram bus stand.

Sree sunbu mess located in the middile of gandhippuram town.i visited here after hearing the reviews from the localities.foodnwas good and they had a very professional service. A good place for trying some Tamil dishes with a pocket friendly cost.

Overhyped hotel and the food was very average, not even worth a single star for its hype. The hotel ambience was very bad and they gave me some corporation water in yellow colour If I had drunk it, I would have ended up in jaundice by now🥲. No parking facilities were in this hotel even for a two wheeler, we had parked on the road.

I have ordered two chicken Biryanis and half grilled chicken and two chapathi,biryani rice is ok but the chicken piece in biryani is not properly cooked it is like uncooked,grilled chicken is average, chapathi is ok but the kurma is very poor in taste, no place for parking,overall the hotel is ok.

It is one of coimbatore's extremely old mess with authentic south indian taste. Food is Delicious, cost was nominal not cheap in comparison to any food outlet, quick at serve, and humble staff. We ate parotta - which was a bit thick and could have been in layers, egg kothu parota and chicken Monika were good. The egg veechu parota was a surprise - it was huge and cut into two slices with an egg layer stuffing. Very heavy. But they could have more options to choose from as well. The location is crowded near the Gandhi puram bus stand, hence finding parking can be tricky.

Poor service and most of the dishes are unavailable. If you check the photo, there are barely 10-12 customers. They serve starters at the last- like desserts. Too many waiters but not even one takes the order. They are keen on bringing the bill rather on customer service.

0/10 would never recommend. Biriyani was blant and that pic is supposed to be a full grilled chicken. No breast piece, no thighs nothing but scavenged fleshed attached to skin. Never go to this place.

Good food. Goto place for any person who is taking bus to their homes. Had their parotta and fried rice which was really tasty. Always served in banana leaf. Also their meals during lunch hours is also good and homely.

New Subbu mess is located near to old. Parking is only problem for cars 🏎️🚗🚘 Not recommend to go on weekends and other holidays. Food was poor... Chilli chicken was not worth for 110 rupees.The chilli chicken was full of bones.We were fooled by the advertisement which said that the bucket biriyani combo for 680 rupees but was served in a mug size only...Why should they call it a bucket which was merely a small plastic container. The quantity and taste of the food has greatly diminished.The quality was ordinary. Not worth to visit subbu mess.

Traditional restaurant with their own icon biryani and sides varieties. Had Nattu Kozhi biryani it taste extraordinary and the Mutton chukka is at the best. The prawns fry ordered was not that good as it's not cooked well, rest all are good.

Today we went to one of my favorite restaurant in coimbatore "Sree Subbu mess" @ Gandhipuram.I went here and after a long gap and we ordered Meals,Mutton and chicken briyani, thala Kari and Chicken noodles. As usual the thala Kari and meals are outstanding! Mutton Briyani also good but chicken biryani is like thakaali saatham! But this Subbu mess is always close to my heart..because it my evergreen childhood memory.Even when am eating before 3 years not all the foods are yummy but I am satisfied. Overall Worth quality with heavy price and normal quantity. They need to improve there food taste and quality.

Placed in the busiest area in gandhipuram near by busstand, so the hotel will be mostly crowded, yet a worthy hotel to wait and dine in to avail their tasty food combinations. Price and quantity is really a mismatch, costly for the quantity provided(chicken briyani)(maybe they didn't add any stomach filler additives), taste is reasonable.

After all hype for nool Parrota - we went there and got a parcel of it -we were told to wait 30 mins for this useless half cooked parrota - not worth any hype - we billed for 500 rs nearly and they Wre not ready to give extra raitha which even local 20 rs parrota shops will give - total waste of time nd money

This place is a must visit when I'm coimbatore. It's non vegetarian hotel. I went at almost 2.30pm and yet I had to wait for the table. It's not a fine dining. Prices are low but food is just amazing. I really enjoyed it

After biriyani it is to have a lime tea is too good and fascinating, but u don't hve that.Similarly hot water is not served, the excuse is machine repaired.what machine, can't u boil a little water in stove.. let me see how far u have improved when I visit next time ....Some staff also need to improve, that they r strictly insisting for tips by keeping the bill with them

I was there for my lunch. The amenities was good. There was a continuous crowd. Also they maintain a proper sanitation. Most importantly the food was really good. This restaurant is located opposite to Coimbatore town bus stand. Whenever I find bit more time to catch the train after reaching the station, I used to try this restaurant. Had Briyani, Meals and tiffin items. All tastes good and at a nominal price. The service is fast. Sometimes, it is bit crowded.

Its awesome briyani is worth a try and i never expected it to taste soo good.. its yummy and mouthwatering.. I enjoyed the briyani and pallipalayam chicken.. staff also soo friendly and environment itself is good to have a perfect food with ur family or friends or as couples.
