It's nearer to Kalpetta old bus station and 2 mins walkable. Room was ok but little bit smells and i didn't opted any services as am not sure whether service was there or not.With restaurant facility and lift, the stay would have been good and they can look into it. As I have opted a non ac room and it's budget friendly for rs 1400.

I stayed in the hotel for many days in different spells this month. Very comfortable stay in an executive AC room. Room and bathroom sufficiently spacious. Daily housekeeping was very good. Staff were very cordial and rooms are well maintained. A classic hotel of olden days, still keeping the tradition. Want of restaurant is the only minus point, but there very good restaurants nearby. An additional tube light, if provided would be appreciated by guests who want to read and write.

More than the ambience ,what I remember most about this place is the warmth and hospitality of the staff .Sijoy deserves special mention .I plan to stay here whenever I get a chance.

Just stepin for a cup of coffee, was very hot outside and thought to have something to drink. Shop is super big seems not properly utilised. KIND REQUEST TO DO SPELL CHECK BEFORE PRINTING.

I was redirected to a different homestay because they had run out the rooms, and the homestay folks charged more than what the hotel would charge. The home stay rooms have no ac, tv nor do they provide any towels, which is the most basic pre-requisite when you are renting a room! Pathetic experience. (This is not a review of The woodland hotel but a guest house nearby) PS: I couldn't find the other homestay on maps, so I'm leaving a review here. I've stayed in better rooms for far less, as a property owner myself I wouldn't charge 3k for a room which has no amenities and reeked of cheap glue. Before you charge anywhere over 3k you must ensure that the room has an AC, an electric kettle, towels and a working fan, not just concrete walls. Had it not been for the people I tagged along with, I would not have agreed.

The rooms and the customer services provide was good. The hotel provided parking facilities , TVs and the rates were also affordable.

Don't go for this hotel just looking at photos coz it's totally wrong just to misguide ppl... in reality they have got all pathetic rooms with no ventilation n not even proper bed & honestly it's like a local lodge but they pretend like it's some star hotel n also they told their restaurant is also not working totally not recommended

It was a great stay. The hotel is beautiful and well equipped. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful and their service is simply great.

Had stayed there at 301, AC has noise issues and the cot and mattress was not clean, Bathroom is worst i had seen ... And Room service for Iron box which gave me non working... Later i told that it was not working, a guy came and asked my shirt so that he can iron from reception and give... Then after ironing he charged me 150 for single shirt ironing. If iron box provided, myself can iron my shirt...

It was a great experience. The ambience was very welcoming and Charming. Staffs are extremely knowledgeable making customer happy is their main priority. Food facility is not available here but they will make the arrangements if required. Overall the experience was brilliant,highly recommended.

This is a budget hotel, Rooms are clean but old. Don't expect luxury stay just ok for one night accommodation. Location is plus point at the heart of city with large parking space

It was a good experience staying in this place, The big rooms were very clean and the bathroom was very clean .

It's near to Kalpetta busstop,wayanad, Walkable distance.Location wise it's very good.Rooms are average but staffs are helpful.Near to market place.

I had a great day in this very homely place. The hospitality was superb. The best employees and very helpful.

Even after showing multiple rooms in online..they said the rooms are not available..will be better if they could update their rooms availability a bit correctly because we travelled around 12km extra for that after seeing rooms available online

Hotel located at Kalpetta, District headquarters of wayanad district. It is located just opposite to Central Juma Masjid on kalpetta to Mysore highway. Good room service and well maintained rooms.

I stayed this place for a group of 4 people. We booked 2 rooms 1800 each from MakeMyTrip. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You must choose a place nearby this place. It's on the main market road and well connected. I can say this place is the middle point which you have to cross for any activity planning. The ambience wise, the hotel is decent. I felt the lighting inside the hotel is quite less. It always feels very dark. The color combinations are so bad, makes it more darker. The rooms are spacious but could have been improved. The telcom doesn't work. You need to visit reception every time if need anything.

Lights in the rooms are not sufficient. Absence of a restaurant causes much difficulty even for a bed coffee. Otherwise the Woodlands, Kalpetta is comfortable for middle class.

Pros- -friendly staff -cooperative -everything is walkable and is in the main hub -no disturbance at night -large parking space within the hotel Cons -we took two rooms. One was filled with mosquitos throughout the stay(2-3 days)The other was mosquito free. -not clean -stains on sheets -old infrastructure

Good place to stay. One thing missing though is the restaurant. Walnut cakes is present in the ground floor for small snacks and coffee, but a good restaurant should be part of the hotel. Hotel stands next to the main road so vehicle noises might creep in and some might find it a little annoying. This is not for all rooms, some facing towards the road. Overall, it's a nice place to stay. Staff is well mannered and soft-spoken.

This is definitely not a three star hotel, the levels can be compared to lodges. Beds are not comfy to be a three star. Bathroom plumbings are just substandard. Towels are age old and would provide only one. Hot water, need to beg at the recent. Different reasons they cite. If some facilities are not there , they could mention it as not available instead misleading.

Room is spacious..but light in the room is somewhat half of lumens required for such a room. Also restaurant is closed since lockdown, nearby restaurants is available.
