One of the worst resorts i have stayed. Please make sure you are not staying in villa no. 7, it does not have any power back up, no charging sockets in the rooms, dirty, spider web all around, tv not working, ac stopped working in the middle of the night, breakfast is bad, there is no intercom within the resort, if you have a villa there, then you should have a fridge in the rooms, every hotels have 1. Manager does not know anything about Wayanad. And to top it all they dis not even clean the rooms while we were out for the day, we complained then only they came and cleaned. Its super far away from any place, so better not book it at all, it was one of the worst experiences we faced in this resort, if there was negative stars i would give that to this resort, Management is very pathetic.

Booking this resort is the biggest mistake I have done, I booked this places by seeing their photos on google, but trust me in reality there is nothing there. Facility is not at all maintained, dining area is also not clean, you don't have more food options its not a buffet here you get only two food items. Even indoor games are not well maintained, boards are not clean. We spent 12k for duplex villa per night, seriously its not worth the money. No one is staying in this place, so don't waste your money here.

The resort is good but my experience was entirely ruined because of the restaurant "chef". I asked for tea and for some reason the chef kept bargaining and convincing me to have 2 coffee and 1 tea, and get this, he finally sent 3 cups of milk. This was just the beginning, they had some gala night and the restaurant staff denied any room services. Nice property but i wish they had better staff.

I had stayed 2 nights at this resort. Worst resort ever seen in my experience. Not worthy for the money. First the entrance of the resort don't have any lights. No Greetings for the guest's. Rooms are very Dirty and stinky. No water bottles provided and no Dental kits provided. Complementary foods are worst to the core. In room dining from the restaurant doesn't have good quality foods. They are cheaper than local shops. Beware they are providing very good pictures in the site. But in reality it's vice versa I too got cheated by the website pictures. This resort is not worthy for anyone.

One of the best resorts of Wayanad. Villas are spacious and all villas have amazing view. Food is good and service is also smooth. I would like to highly recommend this.

We had a wonderful stay at Kallat resort. The atmosphere was great and lovely. Very nice ambience and perfect for family. It seemed a safe place to stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. We look forward to coming back. Thank you all.

Very worst resorts in vayanad. You will get very cold dinner items. breakfast items are also very less only idly and poori. Teast is also not good. No proper power backup. And there in no power backup in unit 7. No one is going to listen to your concerns. Management is very pathetic.

Wonderfully constructed resort, with best staffs. Though it needed some maintenance work. Chembara peak is viewed from this property and sunrise is also visible from bed. We loved the food prepared by the chef at this property. For our entire Wayanad trip this resort is the only place we had best food. Mouth watering food.

The location is very scenic. The resort is ok, but the backdrop is beyond amazing. Yes, there are issues that’s why I consider it 4 start, not 5. Water in bathroom was slightly muddy, approach road is not too good either. You need to climb a narrow and slightly steep road along a hill, not too difficult but it is expected for such a location. Villa is okay-ish, not very luxurious like a proper hotel but more like a well equipped home. Coming to the good part, you can see hills and tea plantation right out of your balcony. There’s a nice stream separating the property and the plantation and hills in the other side, can’t trek though. Food was also not bad. Not like a 5 star hotel but better than other famed 4 star resorts we had stayed at. To summarise, best word to describe food would be - “homely”. Chef and other folks were very considerate and took care of our ad-hoc requests well.

Nice place to stay with family and friends. Excellent rooms and staff services. Mountain view and tea plantation view from the restaurant is unforgettable. Overall a very good, safe and beautiful place for a family vacation.

The view is splendid. The rooms are comparatively small and the places to visit are a bit far. They are under renovation and planning to include a pool soon. That will add to the beauty of the place. The food is not that great but the staffs are super helpful.

If you want to just stay at night time , then its better. because here there are no activities. We have some expectations based on their pics and it's nothing like that. LIKES: 1. Reception area is scenic and You can take better photos. 2. you will get independent Villa 1 bhk or 2 bhk. 3. I booked 1 bhk villa , but they gave me 2 BHK. So space was more than enough to stay 3 people (me , mywife and kid).But bed room is very small. 4. people there are helpful. DISLIKES: 1. No activities: there are no space for activities. We r reached 3pm at this resort thought of doing some activities there or roam around. But there are no activities, Swimming pool is under construction. So it's just like a stay in hotel. 2. Food Availability Issue :There were no chefs available to cook. They said , Chef is on leave. and so we ordered food from outside. They provided hotel number. 3. TV ,Cable not working : As there are no activities , we thought of watching TV. But TV/Cable is not working . So after informing , they arranged technician and issue resolved after an hour or 2 time. 4. Resort Premises : Outside area to Kallat resort is just residential area kind. we went out and there are local people roaming around and residents are staring at us. near by tea estates entrance are prohibited and unable to reach there. 5. Parking Space : proper parking space is not three. we have to park it on the Villa's private road. So incase some SUVs comes , then we may have to go there and give them space by moving our car. 6. Costly : three were discount and we got it in 4k per day. Still for me its Costly as per the amenities and ambiance provided by them. previous night we stayed in another resort StreamValley ,cost of 2500 and it was worth. Conclusion : if you just want to stay at night (Hotel kind of stay) after roaming around Wayand and no other hotels there to book, then this one can be booked.

We went there with our family (4ppl) and a pet (a dog). And with a great discount we booked on the spot. We paid Rs.14000/- for a single villa for 4 ppl. The rooms were clean and beautiful and the place was pet friendly. Food was excluded but not that expensive. And the food was tasty and served with proper hygiene by Mithun. He was really great with his job. We liked the spacious area and ambience. Whichever points you prefer, it is paid due to the fact that they maintain the place and the guards are available there. You have to be careful with your pet if you take him since at the points there are other dogs, money and of course other humans who have problems with the pets. We enjoyed our family time, we couldn't take our pet to visit points to not scare ppl. India has to improve on making places pet friendly and ppl have to start understanding animals instead of getting scared and teaching their kids that animals are scary.

Wayanad trip was made memorable because of this resort. Surrounded by mountains, super cozy rooms, complementary breakfast, amazing view. Hotel Manager: Sneesh and kitchen staffs are very polite and kind. A Must stay!!

Good resort with some amazing views of Chembara Peak mountains from there... Place is good with decent pricing. Although I request the management to maintain the property on timely basis. We had minor issues like bathroom latch from inside missing and few other things. Overall a Thumbs up to the resort location and cottage styling

The property is situated in a beautiful location surrounded by hills. They have TT table, foosball etc which is a good add-on. The host is very kind and helpful and the food is quite tasty!! They don't have wifi which was great for us but could be a drawback to some.

The resort is in a very good location in the lust forest with lots of greenary. The food is good and the hospitality ia also very good. Though the enviornment in the resort is super but the rooms need to be maintained well. The walls are peeling off looking very dirty, also the bedsheets and the comforters provided were torn. Overall a good experience however the resort needs to be maintained well.

Resort located a bit inside the main land. The view point from resort is awesome. Mostly they are offering individual villas with good space. Camp fire is also available with Bluetooth speaker system when sufficient crowd is available. They have some indoor games in their restaurant link Carrom, Table tennis and table soccer. All card payments are available. Local tourist spots are guided by them if we ask.

One of the best resorts in wayanad blindly you can opt for it spacious, calm and private villas they have 2 options single villa and duplex villa we booked a duplex villa for people of 5 it can accommodate max of 8 people 2 bedroom with bathrooms, one hall and one common sit out area. The view from villa balcony is awesome you will love it. And also they have in house restaurant which have limited options but good taste especially there deserts are yummy. The resort manager and care takers are so polite and helpful in all aspects. I thank Mr Sineesh and Mr Affan Ali for making a memorable trip. They have indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis ect. From kalpetta bus stand it's 2 to 3km of travel

My stay at Kallat British Resort was amazing. The property is at a great location, surrounded by beautiful greenary, the view is excellend and refreshing. The staffs was very helpful and poilte. After checking out from the property, I realised that I had left behind my jacket, the owner was very kind enough to courier me my belongings. I would highly recommend this property.

Great property with great location. Nearer to Kalpetta town. Food is very nice. Neat and clean Villas. Ample space for parking. Breakfast is very nice especially Aloo Paratha , Idli- Dosa etc. all staff helpful Kitchen staff, Room boy, Security person etc. Villas are well maintained and renovated. Homely Resort. Mr. Siinish Sir very nice Person, Helpful as well as Co-Operative.

The property location is amazing but the property is not so great. the price is too costly for the room & service they offer, usually, breakfast is included in the package in any resort in Wayanad but they charged 1000 rs additionally just for basic breakfast. staffs are not clean and respond in their own time. there is a frequent power cut in the night and we had to go to reception to complain but we found no one. they always find a way to give excuses, and will not suggest visiting this place if you are going with kids.

They have the best location with the most amazing view of Chembra peak. The villas are pretty new - very nice looking (though not posh / 5 star quality, but that's not what you expect at this price). Some maintenance issues... e.g. one AC not working (they fixed it in a day), bedsheets weren't changed (again - changed promptly when we mentioned), etc. Basically new staff I believe... still to learn how to run things. However, promising place and with some good management, will be amazing. Most of the staff was friendly. Overall had a good time.
