Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM Entry Fee: Rs. 30 for Adults, Rs.15 for Children, Rs. 200 for Foreigners & Rs. 75 for Still Camera At a distance of 5 km from Banasura Sagar Dam, 25 km from Kalpetta & 48 km from Sulthan Bathery, Meenmutty Waterfalls is a magnificent falls located near Banasura Sagar Dam. The upper level of the waterfall can be reached by 1.5 km trek from the entry point. It is one of the best waterfalls near Bangalore and among the best Wayanad tourist places to visit.

Very beautiful place. The entry fee is Rs. 36 ! Make sure you have the change. The place opens at 10am and try to be there on 10am itself in order to avoid crowd. You can get some private time if you reach there first and that is around 10 o' clock. Sundays are very crowded compared to other working days. They have allowed to access the place right till the top of the waterfall which is a plus point for people as it wasn't allowed before. You can also bath from there so make sure to carry an extra dress with you. Overall its a beautiful place but personally I would prefer to visit there during the rainy season. The workers there are very kind and helping!

A beautiful place near korome. I really enjoyed the time there... Waterfall climate ambience everything is amazing. Per head fees for adults is 50rs and 30 rs for children and worth it. A nice place for hangout with friends and for family too. There's a small cave on the right side of waterfall and through that we can climb over to the top. Here opens at 9 am till 5 pm entrance is available. On the way to waterfall we can really enjoy an offroad. Overall it's been a very good entertainment for me and my friends.

Wonderful View of Two Big Rocks Touching each other and cold and clean water flows from inside it... Awesome view and its slightly adventurous to keep climbing up there and reach to the peak of it. But it will only be worthy of it. Remember It is a one way to climb there, you cant return back with the same rope you climbed up there, you will have to take another way of muddy path and that directly gets you out to the parking point. If you want to see the waterfalls again you will have to walk again through the front gate..

) Place opens at 10 a.m. and good idea to get there early to find best spots to bathe. 2) Lots of parking lots available at rs.30-40 with small restaurants selling packaged beverages including desi ones like masala butter milk. They even make omlettes and maggi too. It is not a good idea to bathe on an empty stomach because after you will really get very hungry. 3. Tickets are only for adults at rs.36 per head so ideally park closest to the ticketing office which has an India toilet too in the back which surprisingly was very clean. 4. You will need to walk for about 10 mins to reach the river flowing and then walk upwards to reach the actual falls. The main waterfalls is not ideal to bathe due to how hard the water falls from top, so we chose a place that was about 15 meters downstream with its own mini waterfalls where the water gently falls and curls from 5 to 8 feet height and after an hour, you will feel water paradise. 5. There are guards posted along the route who make sure there is decency and order, so be nice to them and help them do their jobs. Overall, this place is sheer bliss when there is enough water flowing down the river and you get to a little higher spot. Dont miss it at Wayanad. We went there in a nice sunny month so there was less water so we could not enjoy its beautiful picture. Still loved the adventurous trip there. The best time to visit this place is in the morning during the rainy months or after the rains subside.

This is a small waterfall. Visit this place in rainy season or you may not find much water. You can go inside the stream of the waterfall and take bath. So pack some clothes if you want to do so. The waterfall bhas entry fee and you have to buy tickets around 100m from the waterfall.

Have to trek for about an hour ( for me😅) to reach top view of waterfalls. Trekking through the greenish area (lots of trees) is fun and nice. Have places to rest like bamboo wood seats etc on the way. Many varieties of trees ,birds, butterflies🦋🦋🐛🐦 and other insects can be seen here. Climbing through the rocks holding on to rope is an adventurous experience⛰️. There are spots to take nice bath on the fresh and clear water.

This place should be visited in rainy season to view the best falls . But we went in the month of feb where no water in falls only a small pond of water in bottom to swim . Then they made falls way for trekking with rope support . All forest official staffs were very courteous and guided well . We went with a group of 20 people and all enjoyed the trekking experience since water was not there . Parking facility was available with paid parking . It will take 3 to 4 hrs to complete .

Beautiful location.. can play in water which is an amazing experience.. The entrance to this area is via a narrow steep uphill road. So gets difficult when there is lot of 2 way traffic.. from parking area to meenmutty falls there is about a km walk through a narrow stony trail. Not very hard though..

Meenmutty waterfalls is a nice place to explore. You have to walk a little to get there. But when you see the water flowing from the top it is very amazing.

A must visit place. There are two view points. An upper view point which involves a half a kilometre walk through some steep incline brings you close to the main fall. You can literally stand near the fall and feel the water spray. You cannot enter the water here. The lower point gives you a long distance view of the fall but you can enter the water in many areas and swim around. Its a 300 metre walk through relatively smaller incline. The area is well maintained with forest guards all around regulating the crowd. Its not a big waterfall per se but still its very beautiful to see the water cascading downstream through the rocks. There is paid parking spots on the way and free parking at the top. During December and January when the water flow weakens you can walk through the river from the lower point till the upper point.I went during the monsoons when the current was still strong. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here exploring the area. The ticket price is around rs 50 per adult
