We have stayed in many hotel/hostels/homestays across Kerala at many different price points for the last month. Deluxe Residency in Wayanad was by far the cleanest budget room out of all. Clean white walls, towels, bed sheets, no bugs or insects, very strong wifi (good for working remotely & taking zoom calls) and 24/7 hot water with good pressure. Anouar ( the hotel manager) speaks perfect English, which was so helpful for us. He was kind enough to put a small desk & chair int he room as I had to work 2 of the days. There is a small corner store 20metres near for water/snacks. And plenty of shops and restaurants at a 5minute walk away. Very close to bus station from Kochi and to Mysore. Thank you Anouar.

People looking for lesser budget stay then this is the hotel you can go for it. I am satisfied with room hygeine & cleanliness . Location not so far from kalpetta new bus stand & it is near from the market place. Lots of food options available nearby. Good host & supportive staff.

Nice place but while booking it was mentioned to be pet friendly but when we reached there they said it's not. So before going there you have to call them and confirm if you can take your pet there.

Im giving this 1 star as they demanded huge amount for charging my electric vehicle. When I contacted them for booking, they were very humble to provide charging facility, but it was not the case when we reached there. Room was nice and clean.

We booked on cleartrip. The booking was confirmed. Just a day before we were leaving for kalpetta, i received a call from cleartrip that our booking was cancelled by hotel. When i called in hotel they said they have cancelled because of maintenance work. I asked whether we can book offline and pay directly to them. They said yes but we will have to pay more. The rooms that we booked through clear trip for 3775 only, they raised the price to 6000. When i asked how the room suddenly appeared, they told its another room. They are not reliable and can cancel at the very last moment for more money. If you dont want to spoil your trip, better to consider some other hotel who atleast honour a booking and keep their word.

Cleanest room so far in Kerala, after tried dozens of budget hotels. Very charming and Quiet hotel with good WiFi. Anouar ( hotel manager) was very helpful and speaks english very well. He organised food delivery, tuk tuk, trips to site seeing, travel tips, etc.. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Easily available, may be due to off-season (my visit) to Kalpetta Reasonably less distance from main center - 400-500m approx Good neat rooms - just for refreshment and relax. Not experience.

Excellent & Budget friendly. Firstly need to talk the service, this people are soo good and well educated. I lost my phone in manglore railway station while starting to Kozhikode on the day of check-in and i couldn't make it. I called them and informed about it and requested to push our check-in for 1 day hey ended the call saying they will see for the possibility and then they accepted it. It's near to the market and royal brothers rentals. Thanks for your cooperation Deluxe Residency:)

I really would like to thank the manager there, he is such a nice person. He knows exactly how to treat customers. But thanks to him for making our stay comfortable. Visit here at least for the service they provide.

very nice homestay with well behaved cooperative and helpful staff. location is approx 200mtrs from main road but located in city centre so everything is easy accessible. also budget friendly rooms.

We stayed for one night on our way through to Ooty. The room was on the small side but the price and size suited our budget so this was fine with us for one night. The room was spotless. Clean sheets and towels as well as hand soap. It was nice to have a sofa in the room, so we didnt have to sit on the bed. We were offered teanor coffee in the morning but declined as we wanted tomget going. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was only a short walk into town for food and the bus stop.

I recently stayed at Deluxe Residency during our short trip to Wayanad, and I must say, we were incredibly lucky to secure a room at the last moment. The rooms at Deluxe Residency were not only well maintained but also exceptionally clean. Speaking of the staff and manager, I found them to be exceptionally kind and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met and that we felt welcomed throughout our stay. The serene surroundings added an extra charm to our stay and made it a delightful experience. I would like to mention that hot water was available at certain timings only. Although this may be a slight inconvenience for some, it didn't significantly impact our overall experience. Additionally, while Deluxe Residency didn't provide breakfast, there were several restaurants in the vicinity that offered a variety of dining options. It gave us the opportunity to explore and indulge in the local cuisine. If you're planning a trip to Wayanad, Deluxe Residency should definitely be on your list of accommodations to consider.

Good place to stay with family. Only 600m distance from the main road where we can able to see many restaurants. Only thing is hot water with fixed timings in the morning and not available throughout the day. We stayed over there for 3 N. We didn't get hot water on 3rd day despite calling the reception or manager multiple times.

Room was worth for price but the view was not as in pic from google but overall customer service and everything else was cool😌😌

Owner of residency is Anwar For the people who don't have clear about wayand trip sechudle he will guide you and arrange any Vechicle with moderate prices and also guide you about kalpetta. About deluxe residency is quite coma and peaceful ✌️. No noise will come from surrounding such peaceful area hotel is constructed.

We came to Wayanad during the first fortnight of Jan 2023. Rooms were good and we had a comfortable stay. Overall good experience for the price we pay. Came to know that painting of the rooms being done this month. Pest control to be attended and found that storage space is limited which needs slight improvement. Overall good.

It was a good room. Toilet was clean. Room was clean. AC didn't work properly. TV was working. No towel, soap and shampoo since it's a budget hotel. Near to New Hotel 1957 which is one of the best restaurant in Kalpetta. Can park 2-3 cars max. Warm water was available 24/7. Drinking water was available 24/7. Manager was kind, they helped us to keep our bags even after checking out.

Our company staff booked room in DELUXE residency kalpatta through AGODA web site on 12/8/2022 (ID 753370769).When we called them after payment they said that they have no relation with AGODA and they will give us room if we pay extra 2000 rupees.When we approached AGODA for a refund ,we were told to buy from DELUXE RESIDENCY. This is the biggest SCAM we got who trusted AGODA and went ahead. Even today DELUXE RESIDENCY booking are accepted through AGODA website . This mail is sent to stop this SCAM. All the proof is attached here. AGODA company is functioning without even a complaint cell in india. therefore ,its demanded that strong action should be taken against them

I was totally disappointed with deluxe residency.I enquired about late night check in and the staff said u can come at any time. But to my surprise there was no one at reception. A staff named Anwar said I have to wait for an hour to check in since I came at midnight. He was so rude to me and made me wait for sometime. I didn't checked in because of his behaviour.I already booke the room for 3 days and I could not stay for a single night.I urge the people to think again when choosing deluxe residency.

Very helpful and welcoming owner. I called the property for early check-in and they accepted us. The owner picked call even at 7:00 in the morning. Both AC and non AC room were available and the room & washroom both were clean.

Took 4rooms for 4family. Price wasn't cheap or high. But the facilities were so poor and unhygienic, regretted the choice after full payment only. The worst thing was the room was so dusty. The curtains, bed sheets and the whole room was full of dust. The bathroom taps were not working in 1 room and they connected it to the shut off pipe. The closet flush was leaking from behind. Water from the bathroom taps in other rooms were also little. The doors were tight to open and the bathroom ventilation aren't closed. Actually they showed 1 room and I agreed for 4rooms without checking and paid instantly. But I checked in only after having dinner around 10.30pm. Noticed these things only after all the families and kids settled down. It was very late by the time. Called the manager and reported these and they gave 2 bedsheets for replacement which was also dirty. So writing this review for someone who doesn't want to be in a situation like this. Please check all these before taking any Rooms.

It was good experience staying in Deluxe residency. We came to attend a marriage from Bangalore. Rooms are okay if not great. Good for a short trip stay. Owner was helpful in arranging early check in. Very near to bus stand and have restaurants nearby. Only stay is provided, no food. But thats okay for the price range. Overall good experience.

Please bring your own plastic bag if you are not feeling well as cleaning staff does not clean vomit without extra money rooms are clean but the fact that you have to vomit in plastic bags disgusts me

At this price i think it is a very good place to stay. Rooms are clean, friendly employees. Parking facility and water purifier is also available.

Nice place for families. But the facilities need to be improved. There's no socket for square pin charging. Even though I asked for an adapter they didn't provided. also the TV not working properly..need to look in detail to satisfy customers
