Pathangayam Water Falls, also known as Narangathod is a local unwinding destination. located in Kodanchery village, Kozhikode. Many people come here to swim and dive. By view, the place is beautiful as heaven. You can see bed surface through water. Very peaceful natural place to swim , try to reach early morning so you can feel that peace . It is not really dangerous if you are kinda good swimmer . There are some rocks at the beginning spot , just note it .. rest all is fine . Enjoyyyy .. Also please dont throw waste in this location . It is our duty to maintain the beauty of nature . Take the waste with you elsewhere and dispose it . PLEASE.

Calm and wild! This place gives an ambiance of wild water body but it’s now restricted to swim there as an electricity plant operates nearby and also due to high risk probability.

November-February is the best time to visit here. Never visit during the rainy season. It's extremely dangerous, and many people have died as a result. It's not a place for family, and i wouldn't recommend it for girls either.

One of the few waterfalls where you can dive and swim all day long. Just use Google map location, just before you reach location there will be a board which says parking with falls name. Go there and park your car or bike . Then walk for 700 meters.. it's a rocky place to enter water falls. Family and senior citizens should be careful. If you are going as bachelor it is ideal and can climb higher through rocks to enter water falls. Try to go when its not sunny.. enjoy

After feeling connected to the Nature, I started exploring the fabulous surroundings of my home town, and this place satisfied my soul. The rocks were slippery, be careful. And there are several people had died here. I visited there on a sunday, while having a quality time at the natural pool, suddenly a bunch of cops showed up. One of them warned us about the chances of flash flooding as it was raining in the forest. That's fine and everyone obeyed him. Another officer appeared with a swiping machine with him and we thought he will impose fine 👎. I drove my two wheeler to very near to pool and there were many other two wheelers also parked there. And the officers checked the documents of these specific two wheelers and each and every one of us were charged for various reasons 😂. They told us we're trespassing. But there were no sign boards related to parking at the trails except some 'be careful' sign boards. So my review of a beautiful place ending without a good photo 😶. If you are planning to visit, please make sure that you are not parking it very close to the pool and be clear that all of your documents are valid. The place and route deserve 5 stars, not the authorities. As this place is notorious for the accidents happened there, you can expect people of different types judging you, questioning the genuinity of your wanderlust alter ego 😂. Be a responsible traveller. A place without entry fee and a security guard, means a place for the local thugs and other hypocrites to show off.

It's a getaway spot in the deep Kozhikode The waterfall with the deep waterhold which is 100% rock formed gives it a special attraction. Not recommended for families and kids. More over it hasn't been an official tourist spot which gives the place less security. There's risk and there's that vibe too.

It is a small but beautiful waterfall or stream. Terrain is dangerous one, so climbing up is not suggested. As the flow during summer is very less chance of hardening of water is more. The Narangathode Waterfalls is the cleanest waterfall I have ever seen. I saw many Waterfalls but this is a special one... The nature beauty and no pollution. This is free of cost. No tickets or anything, Spend full day with your family Nice place

Good place to chill out with friends. Crystal clear water without any sort of pollution (unless visitors make though). It must be cautios that high depth areas are present, so those who don't know swimming should not enter the water unless with the company of someone who is good at swimming. Do not visit the place at heavy rain season beacuse the location is highly vulnerable to get flooded.
