Good but there is plastics, where people are not bothered about that ? Why don't people use waste bins to protect nature.

Such an adipoli place for a drive. Roads are too narrrow, be careful. On reaching top there is an entry fee of 40 per head for adults and 20 per head for children's. View from the top is superb, especially during rainy season. If you wish to enter kakkayam dam, be there before 4.30 pm .After 4.30 pm entry is not allowed. There is another entry ticket of 20 per head there. Boating is available, 900 rs for 5 persons.Inside dam there is a waterfall too known as urakuzhy waterfallls. Its just amazing.

Nice place. You can feel the beauty of nature. During monsoon times there are local tiny waterfalls in the sides of the road. But the road is narrow.

Mind blowing views of Kariyathumpara, Peruvannamuzhi reservoir and surrounding place. As Kakkayam is famous for its sudden climate change the road will be very dangerous during raining. You can see many small waterfalls one the way.

The place is extremely beautiful. Beware of the leeches. Apart from that you need to take two tickets to reach the view point. In the first spot its 80 and next it's 20

One of the best view providing dam in kerala. The route is the only issue if you are coming via Car. The roads are really narrow.

This place has - Boating - Wash room - Restaurant - Park - Waterfall - But the only problem faced there is that to enter into the dam road we want to take tickets and also need to take another ticket to enter the dam.

It is a view point on the way to Kakkayam dam from Kakkayam base camp point. The place was so good in view and atmospheres. This hills are the part of Western Ghats and slao in Malabar wildlife sanctuary. The narrow road to the hill top is so good with small streams and thick forest. On the way there are several view points. Journey in this route is a good experience.

Breathtaking experience Nothin else. The place was so good. I was traveling with my friend on a motorcycle so we had a wonderful experience overall. We had the opportunity to have a foggy and mild rainy climate from the upper portion of the view point. Travellers please be sure of the timing as the gates will be closed in the evening. I'm not sure about the time of the gate closing. So plan accordingly when you go there. The winding narrow road to the hill top is so good with small streams and thick forest. On the way there are several view points which give beautiful and amazing views.

Lite drizzle... a fogy morning.. what else can u expect the best on a drive to mountains.. roads r under maintenance and narrow too so b careful.. waterfall view s jus awesome... n the best part is leeches.. even if u wear shoes n can see blood marks here n dere.. so again b careful n jus get lost in nature..
