Cheengeri mala is ideal for a moderate trek. Ticket counter opens at 6:00 am and the facility is quiet new and clean as on Jan '22. Trekking path is indicated with flags and ropes are available to assist steep climbs. Carrying light refreshments and water is recommented, as the small shops nearby are not open around 6:00 am. Enjoy your trek!

An underrated hiking destination in Wayanad. Best for people looking for a first time trekking experience. Steep path assisted with ropes to climb. Proper gears must be worn, not a difficult climb but shouldn't underestimate. Approximately 2kms climb. The view up top is simply magical.

Cheengeri Paara in Wayanad is a hiker's paradise that gifts an unparalleled experience during sunset. As the sun gracefully descends, it illuminates the sky with hues of gold, casting a mesmerizing spectacle over the landscape below. The panoramic view from this vantage point is nothing short of breathtaking – a sprawling canvas of lush greenery and undulating hills merging with the horizon. The serenity that envelops this spot during dusk creates a moment frozen in time, offering a sense of peace and awe-inspiring beauty that etches itself into memory. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a soul-stirring encounter with nature's grandeur.

A really good spot for a trek. The view from the top is really mesmerising. We took our car to uphill and road was literally on the rocks. It was around 500 meters from the main road.

Better to visit in the early morning. You could see skybed, The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking. Cheengeri Hill is another rare trekking destination in Wayanad. The 360 degree view is breathtaking as you climb up the steep cliffs. It is not a very busy place and the Cheengeri Hill climb is as adventurous and beautiful as climbing the Kurumbala Kota.
