Stayed in this resort for 3 days for our anniversary and I would like to say that it was one of the memorable moments we had. The staff were very courteous and took very good care. Music was organised during dinner time. The Scenic Beauty from our Room was just Awesome. They have an Excellent Property just adjacent to the neat and clean Lake. The Resort is very well located, beautifully maintained and have a very courteous and co-operative staff Overall it was very pleasant stay.

The Resort is located amidst nature at a very peaceful location. The views are spectacular. The rooms are spacious and very well located. And the local attractions are at a nearby distance, so very convenient too. We were 4 families and had booked 2 days for new years eve. They had arranged activities and shows for 2 days. The Magical Show by the couple Mr.Jayaram and his wife was really commendable. Thank you team Vistara for a comfortable and memorable new year.

The location is amazing and takes you away from the city hustle. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Loved their hospitality. The site is located next to the lake and you will just love every moment spent here. The cloud filled mountain next to the lake will remind you of the childhood drawings we all made with sun shining between the mountain creeks and lake and hut-like houses. Food is amazing too if you are planning to eat in-house. Everything felt like home made. Evening tea and snacks in the gazebo outside looking towards the lake is a must do task.

We have stayed here for two night and it was great experience here. Staff members were very supportive . The resort was neat and clean with the best lake view . I must suggest staying in the resort.

I visited Visatra Resort which is around 5 kms from Ambalavayal. This is my second visit but, with family this time. The most attractive and amusing thing about this property is its location facing towards Karapuzha Dam. We have opted for Superior lake view and the room was maintained well. The staffs, whom ever we interacted for any sort of enquiry was welcoming and appreciate their swift response with regards to the small maintenance, extra bed arrangements. Cleaning car, Cleaning room. etc etc. We enjoyed the view of sunrise and sunset directly from our room. A special mention about Bijo and Derin. Both of them did a wonderful job in taking care of guests. I had even suggest couple of my colleges here to try this property. Suggest if the team can introduce more option for À la carte during dinner. As we were given buffet menu to choose for our dishes for dinner.

A very nice and beautiful place. The staff was courteous and helpful. A very nice place for relaxation and rejuvenation. The food was nice too. There are ample amenities in the hotel like swimming pool, indoor gaming zone, etc.

Vistara is located on the picturesque banks of Karapuzha dam reservoir . We were a group of 7 including a toddler.. booked 3 lake facing view. The views from the rooms are breathtaking. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The facilities were well kept and the pool was neat and clean. Breakfast and lunch spreads were good and tasty. Overall great experience.

Location is excellent. Staff is also very helpful. But room facilities are not enough like we didn't get any hand towel or toilet roll inside the toilet. We paid 11k for one night. But breakfast was not included within the price. With breakfast price was much higher which was quite surprising for me. We took two dinners there, price was OK but the taste or quality of food was not at all satisfying. They were either tasteless or unnecessarily spicy. The hotel authority should work on these. Thanks.

Fabulous stay at Vistara resort The view from our lake view room was unreal. The water of Karapuzha dam and mountains in the background is one view we will never forget. We spent most of our time admiring the view, the birds constant chirping and swimming ducks increased the beauty of the place multifold. The staff was very welcoming, the food was delicious, and the pool was very well maintained and there were loads of activities for kids and adults. Scope for improvement: Restaurant or Spa menu could be placed inside the room.

A best place I have ever visited. All the staffs are so humble and caring. View from the resort is mesmerising. The customers service is outstanding. The rooms are incredible. The place was very hygienic. Resort is situated with a lush green garden with mountains and lake views.

Vistara is present at the most beautiful location of Wayanad. It is fully surrounded by water. I had the buffet here with the nicest view possible. The food was amazing and the hospitality was cherry on cake. Tour of the place is amazing and you can sit at any table with the view of mountains and dam. It's so serene here that I felt I should've taken a whole day off just for this place.

Awesome location and place. Srijita helped us with everything at front office She was awesome. Kudos to her. Food quality can be improved. Also healthy options in buffet should be there. Fish should be added to menu. Room service was good. Front office helped with taxi too.

Visited Vistara with family and friends to have a relaxed vacation and we made the right choice. We even cancelled our Coorg trip and extended our stay at Vistara. The rooms are cozy and designed well. The staff are warm and welcoming. The chef cooked us yummy traditional Kerala style food. The view from the place is to die for, we happened to experience a bit of all weathers which was fun. Overall had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to plan again.

We had a very good stay. Great Service, Food was really good, clean and tidy atmosphere. We had got a chance to attend their new year banquet party. Loved everything there . Our only suggestion is to keep the kids play area little more safe. And we found the staffs over there was so receptive and they are happy to hear our suggestions. Thank you Vistara Group .

Visited with my friends last weekend. Ambience is very nice. Pool was great experience. Very nice staff interaction. Breakfast was having variety of food items including fruits. There is a section for leisure activities as well. Enjoyed every moment out there.

It has a fabulous site overlooking the Lake from Sky Villa room with balcony. Easily accessible, though a small kutcha road leads to the approach. Staff was very responsive & courteous during our stay from 22nd Nov to 24th..

Good peaceful ambience overlooking the lake. Clean spacious rooms with very courteous staff all ready for service with a smile. Excellent dinner with live music catering to suit families. Extremely helpful staff going all out keep you relaxed. Zipline in the nearby dam is an add-on attraction

We stayed at Vistara Resort and got a lovely room at the top floor with a pictursque view of a lake, mountains and clouds and lush green fields. The room was big and spacious and had a big balcony and all basic amenities. The staff is very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We had taken breakfast buffet which was included in the package and food is very good. If you want to stay in the resort and have food its affordable and tasty. They have indoor and outdoor games and a kids play area. Swimming pool is well maintained with an awesome view. Overall a great place to stay to enjoy nature and beautiful views. All the attractions are accessible nearby by car. Loved the hospitality of the staff and highly recommend this place. feel very confirtable

For a traveller, the 5* is for the spectacular views and external amenities such as the spa, pool was clean and lots of things for kids- game room, play area and a lovely garden... The view from our lake view room was unreal and all rooms were lake view. The rooms face the water of Karapuzha dam and mountains in the background is a view unforgettable, spending time in the morning and evening at the balcony. Also they were super considerate to prepare lunch ahead of our arrival at 3pm and also packed breakfast for an early start while leaving with smiling faces throughout. There is buffet and live music on weekends which is nice. Improvement points - The food service needs improvement given some forgetfulness in orders and assumptions and the food quality of things other than Indian needs improvement. Very limited veg options. The rooms are basic though large and spacious and the toiletries also need upgrade and very difficult to access. There is no hand towel provided which is difficult for a traveller. The balcony windows have a gap with insects coming in every evening due to light. The chairs in the balcony need arm rest too as it isn't convinent to sit on them and relax and enjoy the view Overall a good experience and very close to edakkal caves and Karapuzha dam

Their hospitality is the highlight and best among all. Location of the property is right in front of a water body which adds beauty to the resort. Though it’s equipped with a fair set of amenities like a pool, kids play zone, spa and indoor games it’s value for the money. Food is also good and they serve a combo of Kerala and North Indian food. My family has completely enjoyed the 2 days stay in the property. Thanks to Vistara, specially Derin and team for the wonderful time spent and all your services.

The resort is placed in an excellent location right beside the Karapuzah reservoir. A short detour from the main road, although mud road can be bit tricky in rainy season. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms were comfortable and we'll maintained. We had certain concerns with restroom faucet and they immediately changed the rooms without blinking an eyelid. Restaurant food is tasty and good. Breakfast had a good range of items with blend of local cuisines.Ha d good time at the swimming pool and games room as well. Definitely recommend staying at this resort.

Visited few weeks back along with my friends. The view from some rooms is really good. Request them to give rooms in higher floor as the rooms on lower floors have trees right outside balcony and obstruct the view of lake. The place might be more suitable for guests with family nonetheless we enjoyed the stay. A dam is very nearby and you can find some adventure activities in the nearby park. The food is good but slightly expensive. During nights there would be buffet. If you don't want to have heavy dinner it might be a downside. I have enjoyed the stay. Will plan to visit the place again with my family

We book there for 10k, that is overprised. That place is for 5 to 7 k. Nice ambience, staff behavior was very good and co operative. All fecilities are available on there. Water quality in the pool is very good. Food was served in buffet manner. Food was really good and tasty

We had gone to vistara by the lake for 2 nights. I’m very glad I chose this resort as it was an ideal place for relaxation and the scenic lake view room was beautiful to say the least. Great hospitality and service provided by the staff there. Special mention goes to Mr. Bijo who took care of most our needs as we were travelling with our 8 month old baby. Our stay at Vistara resort wayanad was so comfortable and fun filled! The staff are extremely polite and helpful, especially Mr Bijo who made everything easy for us. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The food and entertainment was also really good.

Location of the resort is exceptional. Rooms are good. Service staff is good too. Pool is something to be enjoyed Suggestion: to curate a better food menu options. Also to add breakfast as complementary as we pay almost 8000 to 10000 for a room.

They absolutely deserve the 5 star rating. The location, food, service and the nature around makes this place an absolute delight. Definitely people should experience the extraordinary location with service. On a side note, it's worth mentioning that their music selection is brilliant. Soothing.

First the Staff is very friendly with their guests and the food is very good. The only thing I did not like was the maintenance of the bedsheets and pillows, if that would have been better then it is a very good resort. Also I forgot the Resort should have sufficient sign boards for more recognition and the road near the resort should be widened. Thank you The most friendly staff was Mr Bijo.

The Ambience and Location s so good and peaceful! Very much Respectful Staff n Manager! Their approach towards the guest and guidance for the itenaries was damn good! Overall best n safe place to stay for newly weds n Families! Their Breakfast is really worth mentioning too good!

View of the lake/dam is pretty soothing. We went for room package with breakfast and dinner. It was a good idea as it's better to be back to resort before dark due to narrow roads (expected) leading to resort. The food options were decent. One of the dinner nights, there was a live magic and shadow show from senior citizen couple. Another day they had live violin music event. Overall nice vacation stay at the resort. Due to peak season, it was quite expensive though!
