We had a wonderful stay at this place. It was foggy and also it was raining at that time, So the view from the room was soothing. The staffs were friendly. They have helped a lot. The room was huge and was well maintained. The place is little away from the main town. But is easily accessible.

Overall it is a nice place, the staff are co-operative and responsive and decent food. However the rooms/hotel needs maintenance, the taps, the door locks and other things are broken and need immediate attention. I am surprised that govt/concerned authority have not taken efforts to maintain this for quite long. Also there can be more facilities added like TT table, etc. The common corridors are covered by tin/metal roof instead of Eco-friendly mud tails, which makes the common place hotter during sunny days.

This is a ktdc property. It's a budget resort. Ample parking. Cycling is provided within campus. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Staff is very helpful and friendly ( not expected so good from govt resort). Rooms are spacious and very clean. Housekeeping as well as restaurant service is very good. It can be still better is net windows are provided so that air circulation is better. There was some water problem due to plumbing issues but immediately was provided another room. It is always full during season as pricing is very modest and location is superb and very quiet place. Suggest directly book from ktdc website. Very heavy good breakfast is included in room price.

Kerala Tourism Development Corporation has to rethink about this property again. This property won’t hold any of the normal persons all request. They have their own rules & regulations which is not mentioned on their website anywhere. I have created google account particularly for writing reviews of this property. They do not have a kitchen in which you van even boil water or prepare anything for your toddlers. Everything has to be on their own terms and conditions which keeps altered time to time up to discretion of any of the hotel staffs, yes , not the hotelier. They even don’t have a bellboy coz in Kerala they make every efforts to minimize their expenses. Hotel Manager takes you to the room and no one is present to take ur luggage. *Do Not Take This Property , if you are coming to enjoy here*

The rooms very big and neat. They maintained very well. The biggest advantage is it is near to SultanBathery city also this places is very peaceful. Evening just having tea and sitting near pond in the hotel area makes next level. The service is also good. Only thing I felt is if you need a food inform them how you want to prepare otherwise they prepare their own style and you many not like it. There is a carrom is available and you can enjoy. The breakfast is free and they don’t charge extra for that. Overall it is good for family , couple and group. These guys seriously not doing marketing, if they do this places makes it to next level.

This is a decent place by Kerala Govt. Staff is friendly and prompt in service. Location is 5 mins drive from main market. Don't expect resort level comfort. You get what you pay for. Ample parking available.

Excellent stay at this price range. Rooms were spacious and clean. Most of the aminities of a 3 star hotel are provided. Tasty food at resonable price. Rating limited to only 4 stars as the entire property lacks a renovation especially the common areas.In short worth for the money spent. Better book directly via KTDC website or call them directly over phone.(Staff are very helpful in booking process).Due to irresponsible KTDC management AC rooms are not listed in other websites/apps.

Property is maintained very well. You have a small garden and kid play area. Rooms were clean. Good parking facility was available. Maintained by KTDC. (Gov.) You can also book the rooms online. Staff were very helpful. If you have any queries you can contact the hotel directly via phone call. We went in offseason, more than 70% rooms of the hotel was vacant. So plan accordingly in the offseason...

We had worse experience for the stay, ac premium room no 110, was dark and shabby. One window that too one can not open the curtain as it opens on the common walk area. The bed is so hard that we are left with back pain. The pillows were with minimum thickness leading neck discomfort. Yes, there were table chairs, cupboard, a decent bathroom with hot water. The breakfast quality was poor and about management I can guarantee once you ask for a refill of a food item, you can chill and finish any episode until the refill is done. The property is in between local residential area hence do not expect of any forest views. While travelling in southern part of India, I have availed Karnataka and Tamilnadu gov. hotels but none were this painful rather they gave me the confidence to book my first Kerala gov. hotel service this time and I am heartbroken, disappointed. Not recommended.

A good budget hotel to stay. Calm and quiet. Located near main road in a residential area. So dont expect any scenic view around it but no disturbances or sound of vehicles. Neat rooms. Overall hygenic. Dont expect very hifh standard facilities. Tastey food. Cooperative staff.

This definitely is a peaceful location to spend your holidays with your family and friends. The customer friendly manager and the staff makes the stay more comfortable. But the rooms do need a slight upgrade.

Pepper grove was a great place for the visitors once upon a time, it has the shadows still left behind, but the blind authorities are waiting for the place to become a history! We found highly reputed families around us, believe in the credibility of KTDC ,but the rooms they get are those deeply need a renovation! The welcome, reception, courtesy given by the staff are beyond compare!! Special applause to Mr.Aby Mathew. At room no 201 one of our rooms, pipe of the wash basin is operated from the bottom(needs a sit up), walls are coated with unprofessional putty for the repair of plumbing.... Authorities... open your eyes.... to meet the expectations of ordinary travellers.
