This is for those who love to have some peaceful time, enjoying the sound of the rain, chilling wind, ambience of nature at its best. I visited this place on a rainy day with my wife, we where treated with a beautiful bamboo cottage with a big window and a balcony facing towards a bamboo grove. This resort is away from the city traffic but not too isolated. Iess than 4 km from the Main town. This place has 4 cottages made out of bamboo and wood, barely used any non eco friendly things. Rooms, bathrooms are clean and chic. Staff are friendly and always happy to help you. Food is made by the local community, Mostly traditional Kerala food. The way to the resort (around 50meter distance from main road) is a bit narrow. As they are trying to keep the nature as it is and avoiding unnecessary constructions. I was worried about the parking my car in an open space outside the premises, but it was okay. Overall it was a good experience.

Amazing cottages made of bamboo, set within bamboo forests. The interiors are minimal and pure comfort, while the surroundings are just what you need to escape the city life - quiet, scenic and clean. The stay is really comfortable and the staff is super sweet. Had an amazing experience here.

This property is something where one feels that it is really a wonderful connect with nature. The early morning serenity with wonderful musical sound of the birds was awesome. The way the bamboo house being constructed gave me a good feeling. The food and the overall ambience was a great feeling ever I had. I strongly feel this is one place that everyone should experience once in a lifetime with family or friends! Special mention : Saira mam helped me and suggested me the best rooms for the four day stay and I would like to appreciate JOBBY! He was the best welcoming, caring local guy who is taking care of guests! He made us feel very comfortable throughout the stay! Please takecare of Jobby ! Big suggestion: Please provide Wifi and Air conditioner ! It’s super hot in the day time also super cold in the night, Night we barely stay for 6-7hours max but people who choose this place is to chill and relax therefore Wifi and air conditioning is must for the money we pay… I got my laptop to work but unfortunately my phone data was the only option therefore i skipped and transparent doors were okay but doors can also have the bamboo curtains for more privacy & in lake view room honey moon suite doesn’t have bathroom outside lock. It kept shutting at night.

The bamboo themed resort was a nature friendly place to live in. We enjoyed our stay there. It was a cottage made of bamboo with a balcony to sit and relax. Place was clean and tidy. Food was delicious with varieties everyday. It was served on time. The only suggestion on food that it could be served hot. The hosts took good care of us and helped us plan the itinerary. Thanks for the hospitality!

If you believe in Sustainability, this is the place. The resorts are made out of Bamboo and natural treated products giving you an experience to its truest form. Thr concept and design is rooted into various forms of sustainability, right from its vision, construction and to day-to-day activities. The rooms were very complex and cozy offering a blissful view of the Bamboo trees and nearby surroundings. The hosts are very welcoming and caring.

A place away from all the hustles of your daily life. A nice place to relax and enjoy. Come here only if you can manage to live in harmony with nature and with bare minimum amenities.

Hospitality of this place is very much appreciated. Good cottages with bamboo themed. 1. Food is average with limited options. 2. They don’t have refrigerators in the resort which is a big backdrop. 3. Winters can be managed here without fans but during summers only with table fans it’s quite unmanageable.

If you are looking for a serene and peaceful escape in the midst of nature, then Uravu bamboo resort place for you. From the moment you step into the property, you can feel the tranquility and calmness in the air. One of the standout features of this hotel is the spacious rooms. with ample space . The rooms are also fitted with all the modern amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. What sets this hotel apart from the rest is its commitment to sustainability. They are plastic-free and have adopted several eco-friendly practices. It's heartening to see that there are still businesses out there who care about the environment and are taking steps to reduce their carbon footprint. The combination of nature, spacious rooms, and friendly staff make it the perfect destination for anyone looking to unwind and relax.

Truly amazing place !!! The resort is located in the nature and surrounded by bamboo in a lovely setting. The room are designed using locally grown bamboo and look great, with nice terrace. The staff is really kind and caring and will help you organise any activities and visits around, they are always available for you. You can do activities such as yoga or cooking class, village tour, and much more. Local sightseeing includes Eddakal caves, Chembra peak as well as local dam lake. The home cooked food is delicious and is outsourced by local family to help enhance community involvement, which we appreciate. We loved our 3 nights stay there and would definitely recommend of you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful place with plenty of things to do!

Uravu Bamboo Grove stay is an experience in itself. What a wonderful way of living sustainably. The property is surrounded by nature and lovely local people who is so friendly. The hospitality is top notch and thanks to Sadhu Sir and Jobi brother for taking care of us so well. Thanks to Saira ma'am for checking us in smoothly and making sure we were all settled. The biggest factor for me is that this place is pet friendly and my dog totally enjoyed in the outdoors and you can do so many activities that's mentioned in their website. We did the Bamboo crafts workshop and learnt so much about this versatile plant and was amazed to see so many products made out of this. Geetha chechi took our bangle making workshop and she was so patient with us throughout and taught us this amazing skill. The food was delicious and was made and served with so much love. So grateful for having met all the amazing people here. Will definitely come back again!

Amazing experience Location is great, rooms are perfect, great food, awesome view. Saira being the owner is great in coordinating everything, Sadanandan and Jovish are the in person staff of the resort and both are absolutely fantastic, always talks with a smile, helps will all request. Setup is exactly how a jungle resort should be. Most important highlight for us was they are pet friendly in a true sense. No issues with our dog roaming freely, they arranged food for our dog when requested. Visit this resort and you will love it. There is a small hiking trail which is perfect to click some great pictures and spend time with your friends and pets. They can arrange place for barbeque as well. I have rarely seen such pet friendly nature. Loved it.. Thanks πŸ˜„

We had a wonderful stay at Uravu Bamboo Grove. The place is very quiet, away from the city in the middle of palm trees and bamboos. That’s exactly what we were looking for. The rooms are amazing. Sadanandan was so nice with us and very helpful. He organised a lot of great activities for us (cooking, trekking, yoga…). We were so sad to leave the place. Thank you for everything !

Awesome place. Loved the stay. We reached the place at night and it was thrilling. The place was clean. The bathroom was clean as well. It was single room with attached bathroom. Two small beds were put together to form a king size bed. The service was impeccable. Jobi took care of us very well. He attended to all of our needs. 5 stars just for him. The food was tasty and good. It was authentic kerala food. We also have the option to opt for outside food. My only concern with the place was the lack of wifi and AC. Wayanad was hot during the day and very chill at the night. AC inclusion would have made the day time better. That’s y 4 stars.

This is a hidden gem of a place. Some of our friends who visited this place recommended this place to stay. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They took extra care to plan our stay much in advance. The walk in the village was brilliant. We met some friendly villagers and we had a good time. The food in the resort comes from the local village houses and is very tasty. They gave us authentic vegetarian food from Kerala. We were looking for a place that was remote and far from the city crowd. We liked this place. If people have expectations of what they find in high end star hotels then this may not be the place. This place is highly grounded and back to the earth. The prices are very nominal. I traveled with my family and we liked the place. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a relaxing break with no access to the internet.

We were here for 3 nights & had a wonderful experience. Especially the food. We were very skeptical about getting good veg food in Kerala, but boy did they cook some great stuff for us. Sadhu (host) & the other service staff were very hospitable & were swift to respond. We strongly recommend the guided trek, village tour, and also a quick visit to the Uravu Bamboo workshop. If you plan a visit in the moist seasons be vary of leeches & if you plan to take a bigger four-wheeler, they might catch a few scratches in the last 200m towards the property parking. If you are planning a longer stay, carry board games, download a movie or two & plan visits to local attractions - Edakal Caves, Karapuzha Dam (zip line here is a must) & Soojipara waterfalls (all of these however involve tackling uphill climbs). A few places we git recommended but did not visit were the Glass bridge, Chembra Peak & Kantanpara waterfalls. Have a fun stay ya'll.

A stay here will refresh you mind and body. Rooms are spacious and clean. Balcony is even better. Waking up from the bed to see those bamboos is something which you will cherish. Food is very fresh and delicious. All this combined with Sairas' warm welcome and Elvys' hospitality ensured that me my wife and our pet had a memorable stay here. I really want to thank them for being pet friendly as well. Not many vacation stays understand that this world was made to co-exist than just exist ! My respects and much thanks to them for being a pet friendly place and also making our pet feel at home, than looking at it as if some alien creature has arrived to attack each and every human on this planet !! We also took a good stroll nearby and the walk was very scenic. The lake next to the property and the bamboo hut is a photogenic spot. The while property gives you a feel that you are in middle of a jungle whereas its very safe and there is no wildlife nearby. The only disappointment I had was from Uravu workshop. All the products were priced very high. I understand they are unique products but would have loved to buy more if the pricing was not this high, considering that its made locally and to support the society/neighborhood. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Wayanad in near future.

Stay was good. Very neatly maintained, staffs are very well behaved. Food is not available here they will arrange it from outside that is the only concern here.

It's my first visit to a lovely wayanad, Kerala. The place of stay here in Bamboo groove is an amazing place to be. The view from balcony in the most of early morning gives you a peaceful mind with the nature love. The food provided there was an authentic delicious Kerala cousine. A must visit beautiful place in wayanad to stay.
