It was an amazing stay here. Mr.Ismail is such a delight as a host. So helpful, cooperative and welcoming. We actually felt as if we were visiting home after a long time. He also gave us an extensive and perfect itinerary for 3 days. We stayed in Mango Cottage. It was neat and clean and very well maintained. The restaurant right outside the holiday home offers delicious food. However, the variety is limited. The location is also prime, yet so calm and quiet. I don't think we would ever look for any other accommodation whenever we return to wayanad. And yes, of course how can I not mention this. We were also given freshly cut jackfruits from the trees at the holiday home. Such a warm gesture.

Hi i would recommend this beautiful place to everyone. I stayed here for 4 days with my husband and 3yrs son, such an amazing experience.I specially thank Ismail and Babu sir for their great hospitality and kindness. I celebrated my birthday just backside of the resort which has lovely view of river amidst nature trees. There is a MyWo resturant just beside resort where the food is just delicious and made fresh once we order wow .Ismail sir has even provided our driver also a room with free of cost and all facilities i don't think so any resort will provide such facilities. Full security calm peaceful don't miss this place if u r planning to visit waynad.

We had a great X-mas vacation at the resort with children, in-laws, and relatives--many couples, parents, children --all together a big crowd.we had hired the whole resort for ourselves. Very good ambience, cottages and apartments very much mingling with nature, all rooms different from the conventional hotel rooms, a river flowing by at the back yard, a coffee estate on the other side, a restuarant catering tasty food of your choice and all the more the hospitality of the resort staff is worth mentioning. A nice resort for a budget price...

Good stay, nice ambience, owner guided us to nearby places well. Kitchen (fully furnished) helped us . Overall Good.

The place was well maintained and clean. The host was really helpful in giving out itinerary and accommodating us. The vibe was really nice and the host also has a restaurant nearby.

I stayed there with my cousins for 1 day and Had a great time. Location was very good and economical. Has all the required comforts and there's a river (check dam) on the back side of this home stay where there was fresh water flow and we can swim happily in the fresh water (no swimming pool can beat this fresh river water) and we travelled in May still there was plenty of water to swim. There were fireflies all around us in the evening and they came into the room at night and I slept under them looking at them, it felt like I was sleeping under shooting stars, an unforgettable experience. (I slept in living room just for sleeping under them) For those who are afraid of fireflies can sleep in bedrooms where there were no fireflies. Also the owner was very kind and shares information on activities to do around wayanad.

Amazing place and a great host! We were a family of 23 people (parents, in laws, cousins, kids) travelling from different parts of the continent.I had my doubts before reaching the place as photos were not doing justice to this nice place. I was pleasantly surprised how serene, clean and nature friendly this place was.Entire resort was booked by us and Mr Ismail is a great host who ensured our stay was memorable. Restaurant is neat and food is tasty. Will recommend this place to any one who loves a family atmosphere.

In villa Kitchen stinks very bad. Rain water leakage inside the room. Not Clean. In western toilet total cover was faulty. Only restaurant taste was good. Since we didn’t like the stay decided to vacate but the owner was money minded and asked us to pay for the total days we booked…we didn’t stay there for complete 3 hours but he asked us to pay for 3 days and vacate….finally we fought and paid for 1 day which was unfair….too bad… if the customer is not happy should do for there needful but the owner stays somewhere and doesn’t accept the complaint which we say….never recommend this villa very bad experience….

We went in the last week of March and stayed in the property for 5 days. I would recommend it if you are looking for a laid back vacation as the environment is quite, peaceful and you'll feel very close to nature. They have cottages which provide all amenities including a kitchen where you can cook whatever you want to. Rooms and cottage is clean and well maintained. Hospitality by Mr. Ismail and manager was so warm and friendly. He helped us in planning our trip and places to see. Would really love going back there whenever I go to wayanad. Only con is there is no drinking water/RO machine. You have to buy water from the restaurant which they deliver to your room within minutes. Or you can boil tap water and drink but we preferred to buy.

The place is in heart of Vythri, and located approx 1.3 kms from the main market. This place also serves like a midpoint for most of the sightseeing areas. We easily reached this place and were greeted by Mr. Babu, who welcomed us and showed us the room. The rooms were really nice. Though we didn't opt for AC room, the bedroom construction ensured that the room had a natural AC despite the March heat. The entire property felt like a picnic spot and is located on banks of river Kabini. Later in the evening, we met Mr. Ismail. He was was equally courteous and gave us a tour of the property - the upcoming parks, kids' play areas, gardens, villas etc. He also helped us chalk a plan for touring all the areas in and around Waynad. We stayed there for 5 days, and this place was like a home with all kinds of facilities. Mr. Ismail and Mr. Babu ensured that we got all the help that we requested. We'd definitely look forward to staying here during our next visit to Waynad.

The Marsim holiday homes is having villas in it and there is Kabini river behind the resort. It's really awesome and I went during the starting of summer which is Feb end. The weather outside is too hot in Vythiri, but the rooms are too cool and good. They have used special types of bricks to build these villas. The owner Ismail is an honest person, I booked the room by calling him personally and he reduced the price comparatively Airbnb price. There is an restaurant besides to the resort that is also run by the resort. So, we can order the food and have it in Room itself. I had breakfast and dinner in that restaurant and the taste is good. They will be providing BBQ machine and we can use that for preparing BBQs. And, Villa is having Gas stove and gas facility. We can use that for cooking with free of charge. There are some vessels also available which was useful for us to make Tea and Maggie. We planned for two days and extended our stay for one more day. The room is very near to Pokoode lake, Gandhigramam society honey shop, En ooru, Zip line. And, Ismail has provided an itinerary for us. It was really helpful. We were unable to visit all the places, but we enjoyed some time in villa itself.

Very good place located these Villa's where we stayed. Very quiet, full of greenery, rooms are neat& service is very good, especially Mr. Babu Room manager, very kind person. Thanks to Owner Mr. Ismail gave us very fabulous Apple villa & Mango villa in very good rate. & he allowed to extended checkout time. Our family members enjoyed lot. I personally recommend to book this homes stay directly from Mr. Ismail.

It was a good resort with good ambiance and the owner of this resort is very humble and guided us to visit best places in less time. And it would be also good for families to spend time.

Rooms are neat and clean, bathrooms also good. Surroundings are greenery and it has small play area for kids.

Affordable, spacious, and very clean. We were 5 adults and a toddler and we all loved the stay. Although food is not included, a very good restuarant is right next to this property, and they delivered food to our villa. The villa has kettle, gas stove and basic utensils which makes it very easy to quickly prepare tea, coffee etc. This place also has stable wifi, so I was able to work from here as well.

Nice place. Quiet, green and charming. Clean rooms and plenty of hot water. Host and care taker were helpful. Food in the adjacent restaurant was not fancy, but tasted good.

Rooms are nice and spacious. It has a mini kitchen, living room, very large balcony and spacious bedroom. The bedroom and living room has fan. The property has private access to a river / mini dam backside. The batmitton court isn't maintained, but it's available. Because the property is surrounded by nature, expect some insects, bugs and ants visit your room. The kitchen has vessels, gas, sugar, tea powder, plates, spoon and cups. The bed was comfortable for 2 adults. I recommend you take spare bed if you want to share with a big child. The living room has large sofa, tv and stb has all channels available. The room service is good. Excellent location to get everything from milk, groceries, toys etc. It has resturant next door, which has good breakfast, lunch and dinner options.

Nice cottages near a fresh water stream with all basic home amenities.Breakfast is not complimentary but we could cook food for two days of our stay as there is a 2 burner gas stove in our cottage . Onlything we had to carry all the materials required For preparing food. Few cottages are under construction,once it's done the premise would be more attractive. We have enjoyed our stay .

OK room for quite a high price, but run by a very conservative old uncle who has no issue lying to your face. He seemed friendly enough, but better find somewhere else if you're able to, especially if you're young. Basically he refused our stay once we were already there because he disapproved of our marriage based purely on our first names. He made up some story about covid regulations and the police, but neither the actual police nor any other nearby place had ever heard of that rule, plus we heard him on the phone complaining about our marriage certificate, so it was pretty obvious what the real issue was. We ended up not arguing much because my wife got very uncomfortable with the situation, but at least we wanted to warn any other travellers.

Marsim Holiday Resort is extremely easy to locate and 1 km close to Vythiri town. The owner, Mr. Ismail is a great man who helped us to plan our daily trips to different major tourist destinations. They always make you feel special. We spent 5 nights at the property. Excellent value for money, and you will get the best calmness and peacefulness which every family ask for. Highly recommended for families with kids.

Nice place, i preferred vythiri and believe this is the best place to stay here. Good property, with mountain view, a small river flowing nearby the property. Mr. Ismail and Babu were really helpful throughout the stay and going extra step in recommending places to visit based on your customized requirements. Pookode lake, ennuru village, tea estates were good attraction nearby. They have 2 property types One you see in pics those are independent cottages which unfortunately didn't get as those were already booked So, we got one above his property on 1st floor which is also good but not the experience of independent cottage. Rooms were clean, geyser, mini kitchen with gas, utensils. Overall good experience and place to stay

The property is located just 1km away from Vythiri town, easy and ideal access to all the major tourist destinations in Wayanad. Mr. Ismail, the owner is not just a wonderful host and a great human being too, who will greet you always with a pleasant smile. Mr. Babu and the staff is very helpful, they maintained the cottages and garden in the property in a clean manner. They offer 1 BHK & 2 BHK with kitchenette which will be ideal for families. River Kabani is flowing behind the property and they also have a restaurant which serves quality food with very affordable price. Highly recommended for families who loves the safety and privacy.

Hi, We have stayed here a week back(during Diwali time) and very easy to locate. It's very near to many visiting places. Rooms are awesome and we are happy to book the rooms here. At the same time we got the itenary list as well from Mr Ismail. There a water channel flowing very next to this property and can be visited and take bath there. The water is very clear and good for taking bath. There is a restaurant of their own which is tasty and at reasonable price.

We stayed in two bedroom cottage for 3days, it was a wonderful experience. Holiday home is located 1km from the vythri town and having easy connectivity to many tourists places. Rooms are well Maintened and super clean bathroom with geyser. There is also a kitchen with gas stove & utensils we can make coffee or tea. They also have their restaurant. We have separate lawn with swing. Over all Marsim holiday is the clam place to relax and enjoy the nature.

Rooms were nice and well maintained. There was an inverter backup, geyser in each bathroom and also a small cooking stove, few utensils. Few cockroaches here and there which they may need to get rid of. Nice view from the rooms with a good verandah and There is a small restaurant nearby but has limited menu options, especially if you are a vegetarian. It's slightly far from the Vythiri main town but pretty near to many tourist attractions..

The atmosphere was great here. The room was spacious and clean. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant nearby was good. Highly recommend for families.
