Went in the month of Feb. The Chill in the air was the only downside in the entire trip. The resort is located in a serene location, not too far from the city. Lush green tea plantation to the north with Chembra peak on the backdrop is an amazing sight to see. It's a spacious property with scope of variety of activities that can be explored.The Food was delicious and staff courteous especially Sajith was down to earth and modest. If you plan to visit the resort please contact them directly they would offer you an affordable price.

Our stay is Planet Green Plantation was really wonderful. We went there to celebrate our Anniversary, the staff were very helpful, arranged cake, set the table and turned it into a lovely small party. As for rooms, we stayed in a suite. The suite rooms are big, neat, clean and very comfortable. The view from balcony is amazing. They also have a small stream which is clear and safe to play in, my daughter loved to play in it. The food is really very tasty and the staff is very friendly. They ensured our stay is very comfortable. Will surely plan to visit again. Thank you Aparna ji and Sajith for making this trip a lovely experience.

This was one of the most beautiful property around on a complete lush green with an amazing scenic view of Chembra peak to watch all day. A live scenery from your bedroom as the clouds unfold and pass around to get a tranquil view of the peak and beyond. The planet green rooms were spacious with multiple furniture to relax around, an comfy office space, a lobby and a nice king size bed. Bathrooms were well maintained with clean and swift service. The restaurant at the planet green should be pre-booked, never got an opportunity to luncheon there. But the breakfast and dinner were excellent on all the days, kudos to the chef and service staff. They were courteous and gracious to take care of the guests, gratitude to them. Front office staffs were swift for any ask, being probed for a outing plan or booking a transport, they were awesome. Gratitude for hosting us and best wishes for the future :)

Excellent resort with good facilities and nice staff. Loved it. First of all the resort is nicely constructed. Its rooms and cottages are well maintained and neat. The staff's behavior was also nice and polite. We stayed here for one night. The room was excellent in terms of service and neatness. They provide 24 hrs hot water. There is a dedicated area for leisure. A campfire spot is also there. Breakfast is complimentary. The menu has a nice variety of food items at reasonable prices. Overall we can enjoy the stay with peace even if you are a bachelor or with family.

The place is really good for the scenary and the view it gives from the balcony but there is nothing else apart from that to do in the resort .. you will always wake up to the best view but there are no activities for you to spend time on if you are stuck in rain or have no plans to step out . There is no swimming pool. The food can also be better catering to different tastes . The one we had was very blend and had no spice at all. The service from team is really good

The only thing I liked about this property is the view from the reception area of the chembra peak We had booked AC room for 2 nights and the room which was given to us didn't had the view as shown in pictures. We asked for different room staff said they'll give it on next day but upon asking 2nd day they said that ac rooms are not available they can shift us to non AC room. The restaurant had very limited menu And breakfast also had limited menu Eggs are not included and are chargeable. Aslo there is no proper parking for the place. The natural pool or Water body Which staff says is good for taking bath is very dengerous place as anything can be lurking in that water body also there is not place to change clothes And have to walk down lots of steps to reach water body It is better to not book this place for its high room price and lack of amminities they provide for the price.

We were here for 2 nights and 3 days . It is a beautiful serene and quaint place. The staff are extremely friendly and kind, the food is amazing , both veg and non-veg and they were kind enough to make dishes that are not available on the menu but need a bit of advance notice. The rooms are comfortable and big enough. The view is absolutely beautiful with the best view of the Chembra peak and coffee plantations. You don’t need an alarm to wake up as the “Beautiful Sound of music “ for the different birds is a refreshing and a natural alarm during the early hours of the day 🙂. Though not many activities to do within the resort itself, the paved nature walk within the plantation takes you down to a small stream which is peaceful, there are few animals (birds and fish) you can spend time with. It is also pretty close to all the famous places around Waynad ! If you want to switch off from your everyday work stress to a quiet, undisturbed peaceful place, Planet Green is definitely the place. It is still reeling of the effects of Covid but definitely on the up and worth the visit!

Very good peaceful stay. From the room balcony we could see the green mountain peaks covered in clouds .. very friendly and helpful host and service people . Thank you to Sajith, host , helping us to make our stay a memorable one ❤️

No car no bike parking, not available This place is Not suitable for elderly or who has prblem in legs Malayalam speaking staff, doesnt even understand English or any other language, atleast an English speaking and understanding staff should be hired at reception. Very conjested room after paying a huge amount, broken sinks and leaky taps

Everything is great about this place. Located close to Kalpetta main road, it is on a hill top in the middle of a jungle, where you can see so many birds and even Malabar Giant Squirrels on your balcony. There is a small water stream if you climb down a few flights of stairs. Rooms are big, breakfast is one of the best I have ever had.

Rooms were not that much clean but okay. Service lacks professionalism. Complimentary breakfast was okay . View of chembra peak was great.

The manager here is racist. Mr Rajesh Shenoy tried To Harrase Our family for asking Eggs for breakfast , He started to yell saying He doesn’t have eggs and After 10 in the mrng he can’t serve food and all , He scared us saying we cannot move out of the resort if he thinks and all , Please family people avoid the resort

We struggled alot to get hot water in the washroom as the tap was not properly functioning, even in common washroom areas we were not getting cold water after complaining no of times they changed the room which was having lot of bugs, frogs inside the room. Over all its a bad experience, would not recommend it.

Being a vegetarian I had no expectations on veg food in Kerala. This home stay served us the best veg food. Awesome location, rooms neatly maintained.

Excellent resort. Service was very good and the food was like home cooked food. Mr. Rajesh supported before our trip with the booking and patiently answered our queries and was very supportive during our trip also and Mr. Sujith was very helpfull during our stay. The view is so..good. Thank you planet green.

It was the worst experience i ever had in my entire life. The room was very dirty, blanket was torn off.Two of them at reception - rajesh and sajeet misbehaved badly with us. After we checked out from the hotel they did not even allow us to keep our luggage and told us - “leave from here in 10 minutes”. Better you take a 5star hotel or a normal oyo but do not stay in such a worst hotel

Chembra peak view from the room is awesome. This plantation resort is a hot spot for Malabar Gaint Squirrel. Must visit place. Room are very clean. Shajith helped a lot during our stay and made all the arrangements. Food quality is top class. Location is awesome. I will revisit soon.

I stayed from 22 - 24 Oct 2022. Its less than mediocre resort. Its not maintained to the cost they charge. The Deluxe room I stayed was below standard. The bed spread and the blanket provided were of poor quality. The free Wi-Fi is not working properly. The toilet ceilings were broken and our family felt embarrassed to take bath in it. First day morning, no water in the wash room, when we called the attender no body turn up for 10 minutes. We have to make the call again then a person came and says the motor is switched on it will take 10 minutes to restore the water in wash room. When the was restored it was with mud, we felt vacating at the very moment. When we talked with the Manager, a nasty arrogant person, he says there is no option for cancellation for the online booking. The cable TV provided also not streaming continuously, when complained about it the front office person says its not their fault the cable TV operators fault and they cannot do anything. There is no coffee maker in the rooms. There is no car parking available, we have to park on the side of the road. So many monkeys around there, they will climb on your vehicle and play on it. I, to be frank, not recommending this resort for any one for a peaceful stay. They charge more and provide less facilities and amenities .

Do not get overboard on their website. They claim to have a stream which is actually a drain with stagnant water. You cannot take a stream walk or bath because it is highly non reachable for common people. There is no tea or coffee estates nearby. You have to walk miles to get that walk. Staffs are really cordial. They provide you their best.

The suite we occupied B1, is a beautiful and serene place to stay and have a peaceful experience of the nature with green and colourful vegetation surrounded. The staffs there were very friendly and obliging. The food was amazing. When we were leaving we were asked to plant a sampling which we can see grown when we visit next time. The cost of stay was very reasonable.

It’s a scenic location, with clean, neatly kept rooms - fairly basic, but with views to die for. Mobile signal is good, didn’t have any problems with connectivity. The food is fresh, delicious, & local; the restaurant doesn’t skimp on the quantity 😁 We saw malabar squirrels running across the lounge, & a dozen monkeys performing every morning 😂 Spent an idyllic 3 nights here, & plan to return with my family soon. Must visit, especially during the monsoons.

It was a wonderful experience - stayed there for around 5 days. It's only 2 5 hours drive from Kozhikode Airport. The resort is overlooking the mountains, surrounded by nature with a stream passing by. Every day there was a different menu for all three meals, majority was cooked from locally sourced farm food. Hospitality was par excellence. The rooms were clean with high levels of hygiene maintained. You can enjoy varied sounds of nature. I would love to visit again.
