Well maintained rooms with all facilities in place. Even the staffs are professional and well behaved. All for a reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

I booked this restaurant via Expedia and they did confirm the booking. I arrived at the hotel around 7pm and then I was told that the hotel doesn’t have association with expedia anymore. I was stranded, no where to go during the late hours. I contacted Expedia and I was advised that the hotel did accept the reservation and they were paid as well. Expedia tried reaching the hotel multiple times on my behalf. But they never responded back. The hotel has not issued refund nor responded to the queries. It has beenmore than 6 months since this issue. These malpractices puts tourists visiting Wayanad in Jeopardy especially families.

It’s a good place to stay in Meppadi. Riyan the manager made sure that our stay was comfortable. He gave us restaurant recommendations for dinner. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, Lift, TV and Wi-Fi worked. Good parking facility even though it’s a bit compact. Kettles were provided on request. If you are looking to sleep in at a decent place at Meppadi for the night, Akan seems reasonable.

Please give a comfortable mattress for extra people. And please mention the beds available in a room. The arranged extra foam mattress was not comfortable.

Neat room, good location and more over price was affordable.

I stayed in the hotel for 1 day. The hotel is so bad. The bedsheets and blankets were so dirty and there were many hairs and dirt on bedsheet even at the time of check-in. The other reason Iam giving 1 star is because of the staff, At the time of checkout, one of the staff passively forced me to give them 5 stars on the google review. I even asked them if i can give it later as Iam in a hurry and don't have much time, but he kept pushing for the review. He had to come near me and check on my phone to see me adding review which is completely weird and unprofessional. So i had to finally give 5stars Infront of them. So Iam giving 1 star. I am guessing most of the other good reviews are like this.

Rooms were good, staff is helpful. However, the parking should have been better.

When we were looking for a safer and comfy stay, we saw a board infront of us and we dailed the number and reached in a few minutes and later we booked 3 rooms for 1 night and the it was reasonable for those beds and showers. It was clean, quite and comfortable for 3 to sleep in 1 bed. Overall a great stay.

It's an amazing for people in group. We had 4 rooms booked for 11 people and we all had blast whole night and day. Couples can feel isolated(which they look for) as it is just just a place to stay and sleep. Hygiene maintained. Rooms and lobby are clean. Staffs are also very friendly and help full. Prices of the hotel are also decent.

The hotel was Okay-ish but not a VFM hotel. Room while spacious it doesn't have enough amenities. No toothbrush or additional towels provided. No bathroom amenity kit was provided either. Parking is good, and the in-house restaurant was not functioning during our visit, so we had to order outside with the hotel provided restaurant. And they did deliver. But the food was Yuck.

Positive feed back 1. Room is neat and clean, Toilet also good. 2. Nice and small balcony. Negative feedback 1. Sound from AC disturbed my sleep 2. I got a room near to Lift and the movement of Lift that i can hear in my room. 3. Ground clearance to the parking is very low and not good for Sedan vehicles. 4. Parking is very small, Max 3 or 4 vehicle can park at a time. 5. No restaurants are there near to Akan. So we should travel around 5 KM for food. 6. Staff are smiling always, when ever we makes any complaint to them also about the sound from AC, lift and all, also no response from them. Next day itself I moved to another hotel.

Dirty bedsheets and no food availability, overall a bad experience. If the management focus on hygiene, the place can become a decent place to stay.

Neat and clean hotel. Reasonable tariffs and great location if you're visiting Ripon or Meppadi. No restaurant or room service but they permit for deliveries to the room. Ask reception for a list of nearby restaurants for food delivery.

This hotel is just awesome in every sense for a middle class family. It nails the basics like anything. Indoor four wheeler parking, clean lift, super clean verandahs, extremely simple check in and check out process, a mineral water bottle whenever needed, perfect room service whenever needed, wash basin even in a standard room, working television, intercom, superb wifi, security, The staff are very friendly, cooperative and sweet so much so that they brought a birthday cake for my wife's birthday. That sweet the staff are. The location is such a sweet spot. You can reach any and almost every tourist spot in under 30-45 mins in car. Believe me when i say this : Go for this hotel. You will write a review similar to this. One con is that, it doesn't have an attached restaurant. It was being built when I stayed. But the restaurants nearby at the walkable distance more than made up for it.

It was very awesome while staying in this hotel. Hotel staffs are quite friendly and hotel is fabulous clean. I will definitely stay in again in Akan hotel.

By far one of the best hotels i have stayed at. The rooms are spacious and clean. hot water shower is available. There is a small kitchen space and a balcony facing a beautiful scenery. The facilities you get here is worth every penny. The staff here is helpfull and friendly which makes u feel at home. There is a bus and auto stand near by All together a genuine place to stay in meppadi.

Rooms are good, but there were full of ants in bathroom and balcony. TV was not working. And we have to ask for everything like soap, towel. Service was okay but they are very kind and helpful (not problem with the people). Big problem is the location, it's not that great view from hotel as mentioned. And location is isolated, where it is very difficult to get food. Overall Service was good, but Amenities and the Location is bad.
