I don't think this place is available for tourists anymore. It comes under forest area. Spoke to a forest officer to let us in. He was kind enough πŸ˜€. The view is breathtaking. If you get a chance don't miss it. Don't go without the permission u will be screwed if u get caught... It's just 100 metres walk from an estate.. u can park your bikes there. Don't take your car. It's almost about 2kms of pure uphill drive. And a very small road

The drive to Neelimala view point is very beautiful with lush greenery. Though we couldn’t reach there on top as it was closed because of national holiday we liked the drive.

One of the best view points in wayanad. You can enjoy the huge panoramic view of meenmutty waterfalls from here. Also you can enjoy the mountain ranges and wildlife of The Nilgiris. The best time for an excellent view is the time after a summer rain. You can enjoy the cloud bed in the morning but there is some risk factors for that because the wildlife presence in the morning. Be aware of the wildlife especially bison and big cats in the early mornings and late evenings

Neelimala Viewpoint offers a stunning view of the lush green natural vegetation and the breathtaking Meenmutti waterfalls. The serene atmosphere and the sounds of the birds chirping amidst the whispering leaves will put one at ease instantly. Trekking through the exciting misty trails and soaking in the fresh air to reach the point is a famous activity here.

The viewpoint is closed. Forest officials would not allow anyone to enter the viewpoint. But you could probably ask permission from the owner of some surrounding coffee plantation to see the view.

This looks very good adventure but unfortunately closed for public 24*7. The viewpoint can be reached after a short trek through the dense forest, which in itself is a thrilling experience for adventure enthusiasts. The trek takes visitors through steep inclines and winding paths, with the sounds of chirping birds and gushing streams providing a soothing background score. Once at the top, visitors are rewarded with a stunning view of the rolling hills and valleys of Wayanad, as far as the eye can see. The view is especially captivating during sunset and sunrise when the sky is painted in hues of orange and pink, adding to the overall beauty of the place. Apart from the breathtaking views, Neelimala Viewpoint is also known for its rich flora and fauna. The forest surrounding the viewpoint is home to several species of animals, including elephants, leopards, and various species of birds. Visitors are advised to take caution while trekking through the forest and to refrain from littering or damaging the natural environment. In conclusion, Neelimala Viewpoint is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike. The trek to the viewpoint and the breathtaking views from the top make for an unforgettable experience, leaving visitors with memories to last a lifetime.

Due to Rain the View point is inaccessible in vehicle, its better to leave four wheeler much behind as the road is very narrow allowing only 1 vehicle to pass. High chances of you getting stuck, Two wheeler's can go till last point. Breath taking View of waterfall and Complete Hil Range.

Hello explorer, It's not that worth and also not clear to watch the view and there is no exact point to see the view. It is just zoomed in pictures and uploaded. If u want to explore please go by walk and park ur cars at entrance itself. It's impossible to go by car, if u want to go... It would be difficult to go in narrow road way & take u turn also. There is no ticket for this view point. Approx Distance for view 6km. Approx Time to reach by walk 1 hr 30min.
