I was surprised to see the white tiger. The beautiful white peacock is also here. Many people come here to visit not only from India but also from abroad. College students come here for research. It's Amazing Experience visiting Kanpur Zoological Garden Zoo. Approx. each major wilds fauna are there.. Great Activity and Adventure park for kids and younger citizens. Kanpur Zoological park also known as Allen Forest is an amazing place to be with your family for a picnic. In recent time the management has done an amazing work of making the zoo clean. You will not find garbage lying everywhere as it used to be few years back. For those who are planning to give it a visit, be careful to not take polythene bags to to zoo as the security will not allow you to carry it into the premise. Though you can carry the food items inside but try to pack them in paper bags. Kids train along with Caddy service are also available within the zoo to add on to the thrill. You will also finds small adventure parks within the zoo where you can enjoy, but you will have to buy additional ticket for that.. I will recommend you to give it a visit if you have never been there or you haven't visited for a long time as you will surely feel a change.....

It was nice experience but some of animals were not there because of construction. Please Carry your water bottles because you gonna walk around 6 to 8km. It has Adventure park also where you can play games and canteen where you can chill out or take rest.

The area of zoo is too big so if you are planning to visit with toddlers and child or old age family members please get electric cart inside the zoo which is in budget and save your time. Just a park for which we pay to get tired. Very less animals. Even it's good, animals could not be kept in cage. Machli Ghar closed, No Lights in Snake House. Nothing there to enjoy there for family. Entry fees also increased to more than double - Rs. 70 for Adult & Rs. 35 for Kids. Better to watch Zoo virtually.

This zoo is now developed but animals are not much as it was 10 years back . Now you can rent out cycle, electric vehicle to see the zoo. Also toy train is there. Two new places added one for butterfly and one for snakes . Ticket is costly now , it is costing 70₹. If you want to visit , then choose any day between Tuesday to Friday as weekends are crowded .

You can go to zoo for a normal picnic and rest otherwise there isn’t much to explore. The animals are there and some aren’t. The train doesn’t run. There are washrooms but not clean and for activities they have zipline and few others. If you’re real adventurous person, it’s not for you. It is for kids. They need to maintain the zoo and spend some money for animals. Going one time is enough.

I went with my friends ,it was worth it ,I have been there in my childhood ,it has changed a lot now .It is clean .Make sure if you are coming from college ,they won't let you enter wearing college dress or anything related to college in your bag.You can buy food and stuff inside the zoo .Reptile house is closed in winter season.But there are few new animals added there such as( ostrich and white tiger) which they haven't opened yet but I have seen them 😍😍...
