NatureπŸŒΏπŸƒ friendly place. But the roads needs Repair.. The staff on the photo was very helpful give us good knowledge about the history and geography.. And he give us a chance to see the edge of the water fall.... He is very good man but the government is not taking a good care to them. He is taking a big risk to feed his family..

The ride to the top is refreshing, full of anxiety and expectations. Lots to see enroute, the hues, various shades of green grey and the clouds are something out of the world. The reserve collects a fee of 40/- per head, i guess that's ok considering the trash that we scatter all along. The waters are calm, boat rides are available ...speed boats. I didn't take pics at the site as it's not permitted. The staff at kseb are friendly too. It's a good place to spend half a day...

Awesome place to spend a day....en route you can see small falls. You can stop there to experience cold natural water falling directly from the lap of nature. Views are also pretty decent. Make sure you visit urakkuzhi waterfall at the last point where public can access.

Located in Koorachundu in the Calicut district. It is on the outskirts of the western ghats and Malabar wildlife sanctuary Pros: - Abundant wildlife population - Soothing and calm ambiance - Boating facilities - Trekking towards Urakkuzhi waterfalls - Rock climbing destination - Children's park area - Availability of food court - Staff enthusiastically explains the places and the specialty of it - Neg: - Narrow roads lead to traffic blocks during busy times. - You've to pay an entry fee, forest fee & parking fee separately. - unhygienic toilet facility. Try to visit during the monsoon season to enjoy the beauty of nature to its fullest. Beware of blood-sucking leeches!

I'm giving one star because on starting point at down hill, there is a ticket. On top, there is another ticket by KSEB. Parking fee additional. But the location is nice on monsoon season.

Place is absolutely stunning. But I couldn't understand why they are closing the river valley by 6 in the evening. People coming to see the sunset gets very much disappointed because of it.

Nice drive till the dam. You could see elephant droppings on the way to dam 😊. Dam reservoir has got a speed boat service too. RS. 750 per ride. View of the reservoir and dam is awesome. Entry is chargeable at RS. 20 per adult. Kariyathum para is at the base. Good place to hang out.
