This is not the love Lake of chembra... There are somany people coming here as confused as chembra heart lake... This is not the one. This is a small lake surrounded with forest with beautiful view

Not even worth 1-star. Not a place to vibe. It basically a heart lake which was constructed like that. If you're gonna expect something it will be LEECHES I did go there today And I got a handful LEECHES. Not worth the risk and the LEECHES. If you want a place to vibe with Leeches this would be it. I would prefer Chembra peak its worth the bite of Leeches. I've let some original photos of the place.

If you are looking for Heart Lake of Chembra , this is not your destination ! Please search thoroughly ! It's just a rural Forest Pond with a local scenery

It's just a Lake in heart shaped.. Nothing more in there.. Chembra peak is the better than this place

This is one of the beautiful and highest peaks in western gahts, nice place for trekking. A guide accompanied us while trekking. Really amazing views. Natural formation of heart shaped lake is really awesome. The view from the peak is really breathtaking. Highly recommended. Definitely worth a visit.

For trekkers it is a paradise . .Breathtaking view from top!! Journey towards lake is itself an aweawesome experience!! Nice memories to cherish later

A place where the mind is close to nature

It's just a pond. Please avoid this place your a tourist. There is no leisure activities to you can see and do.

Chembra Peak (ചെമ്പ്ര കൊടുമുടി) is one of the highest peak in the Western Ghats and the highest peak in Wayanad hills, at 2,100 m (6,890 ft) above sea level.[2] Chembra is located near the town of Meppadi and is 8 km (5 mi) south of Kalpetta. It is part of the Wayanad hill ranges in Western Ghats, adjoining the Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu and Vellarimala in Kozhikode district in Kerala. It is the highest and the largest peak in Western Ghats of India in between Nilgiris and Himalayas exceeding 2,000m . Visits to this peak organized by 'the Chempra Peak VSS' under the control of South Wayanad Forest Development Agency, guides are provided for trekking. Chembra Peak is accessible by foot from Meppady. District Tourism Promotion Council provides guides and trekking equipment on hire charges to tourists. Banasura Sagar Dam and Banasura Hill is also nearby.[3]
