Wonderful place.there is a resort.good view place .

Went there for a day trip. How I wished we had stayed over there. The place is about a 45 minute off-road drive from Meppadi, through cardamom plantations and thick forests. Location is truly as you can see from the photos and the camping option is the icing on the cake. Suneer and his team were very friendly, warm and welcoming. They served us our tastiest lunch in Wayanad. Will come back.

I never stayed here, but it is dangerous to invade into the abode of wild animals. A young lady was killed by an elephant here recently. Check the news.

By seeing the river side pics and trekking,we had decided to go there.But unfortunately we didn't got that tent because another family had already occupied it.And we tried another tent that's not so good.But for both,it takes same rate. Not even a clean bathroom is available there.Overall the facilities is too bad.And also we didn't got as much care as others who occupied the river side tent. By the first view,it seems that it's not well facilitated. The major thing we noted is that no one is taking as much precaution in this situatn(corona) But for both better and worst tent,it has same rate.(main highlights) In this pandemic situatn(corona),I think it's a major place that should be avoided

It is clearly the negligence of resort management that lead to the death of a guest who brutally killed by a wild elephant. Not all guests will be aware of the danger in the forest and it's the resort management's responsibility to secure the area. My heart goes out to the bereaved family.
