1. Very good location at lakkadi. 2. Cheap hotel and cost to worth is high. 3. Swimming pool is good and maintained average. 4. Breakfast is free and was good. Limited breakfast items. 5. Spacious room for stay 6. Hospitality is very good but facilities or amenities are well maintained. 7. Full of foggy misty in the evening and rainy in this area only not in other areas of wayanad. 8. Faced heater problem , that's all. 9. Staffs are kind and very supporting in case if touring the places. Cost effective and good location.

Location is great.. Might feel a Lil overpriced, I got AC room at 4200. Happy stay with great view of hill in clouds. Do note: AC rooms only have cooling functionality, not heater. You cannot get warm air. Almost same as shown in other pics of Google maps.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help to make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and honest with exceptional services as well They have an exceptional balcony view facing towards the valley with the natural mist for the whole day .......... I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Wayanad.

Great place and good rooms. Food was decent. Had a nice stay. They do have play area for badminton and swimming pool on top floor and multipurpose hall too.

Enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable n spacious rooms. Ideally located to access sight seeing locations. Good Kerala breakfast. Enjoyed the appams. Pool water is quite cold. Very friendly and helpful, hospitable staff. Overall worth more than your budget.

Pros: view from balcony, spacious rooms (never stayed such a spacious room so far), location, atmosphere, swimming pool, complimentary breakfast( tastes good though they have limited varieties), friendly staffs with smiling face. Cons: No power in 3 pin sockets,Curtains were dirty and room service a little bit slow. Could be maintained well. I would recommend to improve their service to grab the crowd..

Bathroom had urine smell and hotel staff agreed after checking. But in the bathroom it was mentioned sanitized. Wonder what sort of cleaning was done before putting that sticker. Welcome gift provided in the booking was not provided. Balcony Door was not opening and rooms provided to us had issues. Wonder if they have a room with everything in perfect condition. Beware of Breakfast included. They mentioned to have the breakfast. After that they asked to pay. Post eating breakfast there was no option for us. Totally a very terrible experience provided at MISTY GATE hotel

We were a family of 4. We had taken 2 rooms and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights . Rooms were spacious. Location was very good. All the staff were very friendly, co-operative and helping especially Nesla. From the time we wanted to book this hotel from Bangalore, I was coordinating with Nestla and she was very polite, customer friendly and helped us with everything we wanted. I am very happy and would recommend this hotel to others .

Very poor stay at this hotel. I was in a overnight stay here with little kids. At night a huge group of college students were roaming the halls causing several disturbances, loud noises and continuosly ringing the door bell well past midnight. In morning we went to the restaurant where we found every single sink completely blocked and the whole area looked trashed up. What a waste of money and time.

I stayed here for 3 nights to attend a business conference. The hotel is huge with plenty of space to move around. The rooms are good and spacious for a city like wayanad. All rooms have large glass windows with a good view. The service is fine and prompt with an always smiling staff. The only disappointment is the food. Not only was our banquet buffet below par, the buffet at WOODS (I had dinner & breakfast buffet) was also nothing great. The spread was not very wide, and the taste was quite ordinary. Overall we had a pleasant stay, will surely consider staying again

Other than it not being in a place surrounded by much scenic beauty, i loved everything abt here. Great service. Spacious rooms with facilities and a balcony. A rooftop pool which is not frequented by many. Its a comfy stay.

Room was maintained clean. but frequent power shutdown! got food service with very limited menu & not satisfied. Swimming pool was good and well maintained. not as shown in image, It's covered with roof. Early morning view & night view from this hotel was really great. People who love to take night photography. This place is really good. Since there's no light around this area. We enjoyed our stay other than food.

Huge spacious rooms. Every part of hotel was clean and up to satisfaction. Staff is extremely eager to please and will do their best to help you with anything and everything. Breakfast buffet was really tasty and full of variety. Definitely worth the stay.
