Pretty good option if you want to make a trip to Wayanad and quite budget friendly too. Rooms are spacious and a lot of different kinds of rooms are available. The food here is pretty good and they serve you a good complimentary breakfast. Their facilities including gym and swimming pools are also pretty great. What makes it stand out is the view around. Located mid on the highway. Their service is a bit slow that’s the only problem. And there are some problems which clearly says it’s a bit understaffed. The swimming pool is small and a bit dirty or maybe we were there in the wrong time. But the people out their would help you with their service as well.

We had been here with our college Friends and family for one day get-together. The ambience is wonderful and the food quality also amazing 🤩. Resort administration team and staffs arranged a conference hall with all the required facilities. Outdoor play area, swimming pool and other facilities are well maintained. This place is located in Lakkidi, so you can feed the beauty of Wayanad. Recommending this place for stay and other functions. Over all we god a nice experience from this resort.

Liked: Very clean and quite rooms and the service was excellent. Plenty of car parking area. Good leisurely place for family as well as business stay. Right on the main road (highway). Good playing area for kids and a good size swimming pool. Stayed with family for 3 days in Dec 2019 around the Christmas holidays. Could see that the occupancy was nearly full but the staff managed it very well. Although the options in the complimentary breakfast were bit limited, it was still good. They did change the menu daily. Restaurant was very good. Had very good dinners during our stay. Enjoyed the pool a lot. It was a memorable pleasant stay. Disliked: Location may not be idle for some as it is on the southern end of Wayanad area. Breakfast options can be improved. Overall a bit expensive.

One of the worst hotels I just stayed in my life. The rooms were smelling but cleaned. The morning buffet was the worst they needed to improve the menu combination. No option for kids. At least they should include aapam or idly for kids. Service really worst. Frequent power off when you do a checkout. I feel they are doing this purposely. Only plus is location is on the road and they have good kids play area.

Rooms will make you feel cozy. If you are looking only for stay and want to roam around in vehicle for tourists spot then this is good. But don't opt for this place if you are a nature lover who needs a view in room, want to stay with birds chirping and nature surroundings. Some rooms have just a wall view of the next building. The room in which I stayed had hot water problem. There was no hot water supply. They need to upgrade the breakfast menu. I don't like to have more bread butter jam after traveling from another state. I would like to have something special and famous in wayanad. Only good one was Poori, juice thats it. They don't serve fish in this hotel. This place is just for comfort stay not for nuture lovers who wants to feel the nature around the surroundings unlike other resorts. Views are not pleasing. Pros: Clean and neatly maintained rooms. Rooms are giving the pleasant feeling with positive vibes. Except the window view which was not there. The staffs here are very polite and kind. Huge parking area. Cons: Food menu is not good, the breakfast menu is not good. Does not serve fish. The food menu needs improvising. Location doesn't give resort experience, but the property is huge, just has a lawn area, swimming pool, play area. The room in which I stayed had a hot water supply issue. Not a nature spot.

We went for a get together, a total of 7 families. The service was good, the only negative is you have to wait for your rooms even after the check in time and they are very prompt while checking out. The staff were really nice, it has lot of playarea for the kids. The swimming pool is not he best, but then when you have 50 guests there would be a compromise. Breakfast buffet was good, go there as early as possible else you have to eat standing... Overall a nice place... Recommended with caution.

We booked 5 rooms at Sanihara Resort for 3 nights and had an absolutely delightful stay! The limited breakfast options were surprisingly unlimited and delicious. The kids' play area and the pristine swimming pool kept the little ones entertained, and the bonfire with music was a highlight. Room service was top-notch, and the restaurant staff were kind and accommodating. Our mountain and road view rooms provided a picturesque morning experience. The overall ambiance, climate, and hospitality made our stay truly awesome. Highly recommend Sanihara for a memorable family vacation!

Clean and convenient rooms. Breakfast options though limited was very good. Snack options were very limited. Just french fries and chicken nuggets in menu. Room service takes longer. Situated near Lakkidi view point. Budget friendly with a very nice swimming pool.

The hotel offers a pleasant experience, particularly with its stunning pool view. Despite encountering initial hot water issues, the staff promptly addressed and resolved the matter. Conveniently situated on the highway, it facilitates easy access to tourist attractions. tourist spots. Also, the breakfast options were good and tasty. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

Been there for once and so much dissatisfied. No restaurant facilities, only dine-in. Dining in with kids was hard so we had to go hotel outside. They said restaurant will be open by next day morning, but we were made to have breakfast in a CONFERENCE ROOM with two small tables and few chairs. Food for breakfast was very limited. There were barely any. Ac was not working in the room (for which we paid 7000) we had to open windows for air circulation. Poor service. Pool water was filled with too much of BLEACH, that the kids got out in 15 minutes ! The staffs did not for once apologised to us for the troubles caused. Receptionist lady especially took our complaints too silly. If your hotel is under maintenance- you should keep it closed till the work’s done, rather than providing no service to the customers. We had to pay nearly 8500 for such a nuisance! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

While it’s a small resort/ hotel, the food is SO GOOD ! Freshly cooked, tasty and very flexible with people’s preferences. I eat at Sofys Restaurant atleast twice a month with my family. Staff is also very warm and accommodating.

It was a nice stay in The Sanihara. Rooms are neat and clean especially bathroom. Decent complimentary breakfast. Staff were very co operative.

Had a great stay.Receptionist Suresh was very helpful. The place was super clean. The food was healthy and delicious . All the staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Room was really spacious and clean. Have a perfect pathway for a morning walk around the park Few concerns were there. 1. The key for the room. The tag attached to the key got damaged very easily making it unable for us to turn on the power, which at one point frustrated us a lot. 2. The play area is definitely not how we expected it to be. Only one carrom board was there, that too in a very bad condition along with Table tennis. Which was also not maintained that well

I had the most wonderful experience staying at this resort with my family! The service was absolutely amazing, and Mr.Sreeraj (Restaurant Manager) even went the extra mile to serve special food for our toddlers. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway! 🌞🌟

Hotel room is very clean and bed is comfortable. They have big space and many plants and flowers . Staffs are nice and friendly. Breakfast varieties are good and taste was delicious.

Our overall experience at this hotel was fine except the spa. The receptionist adil was awesome, food was nice, ambience and cleanliness was also perfect but the spa is not run by professionals. After having oil massage they told to go to my room and take bath. This is the first time i have experienced a spa without washing facilities. The therapist was also inexperienced. Hope the management would look into this issue a.s.a.p.

Our experience was memorable. After Covid as a family we got together. We loved the trip The Staff were extremely helpful polite and cared for us genuinely. The rooms and spaces were clean, Hygienic. They had Swimming pool, Kids area, Bonfire place, Basketball ring, Badminton court, Spa and Gym. Car park was huge. Enough area to walk. Food was tasty and served well. There is a need to give prior info about our requirements which helps them to cater for us. Advice all people to order the food well in advance.

4 guests stayed. Chose breakfast included plan and got Poori and Puttu. Horrible experience. They gave excuse this is how they provide. A North Indian and a South Indian. Buffet was promised but all we got was at table after ordering and waiting for long Rooms where good. Hot water you need to wait for long by wasting a lot of water is the only problem.

Superb place with affordable price. We stayed two days and experience was good. They provided fire camp also. Staff is very responsive.

It's simply the best....i loved the room, the environment inside, the well mannered and well dressed staff with all the proper etiquettes. There is a pool, dj, gym, spa, garden, joggers track and above all the greenery and mountains on the backside make it a perfect sight for stay. Also, few locations are nearby for sightseeing.

I visited here in the rainy season, full of rains and puddle of mud, but they have maintained everything very well, was cleaning everything time to time, on regular basis. They immediately respond and clean the floor whenever it is wet, when the guests come from swimming pools, or with wet clothes due to rains and all. Pros - cleanliness, service, gym, restaurant, rooms, swimming pool, parking, location, ambiance, food & drinks available, complementary breakfast. Cons - washrooms are very small, they divided rest room and bathroom. It is so small and congested. The restaurant staff is delaying all the orders, service in restaurant is very poor. Swimming pool is very far from rooms, need to walk a km. Please focus on food taste and quantity.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our overall experience was great. Rooms: The rooms are decent in size and very clean. Iron is provided on request but they don't provide hair dryer. Towels, bedsheets and quilt were super clean. Room service was equally good. Facilities: They have a swimming pool and a kids play area. Both were decently maintained. They don't have a gym. Restaurant Their menu has very limited options. Complimentary breakfast was decent. They could have added cut fruits and cereals to the breakfast.

(May 2022) : It is a budget friendly resort located close to the NH. Still the location is not ideal for those coming to explore Wayanad, as it is located on the southern border; spots around the Wayanad are much away from here. Coming to the resort, it is a clean one with a good parking space, has got a considerable lawn space where kids can run around. Swings and seats are constructed on the lawns, were u can spend your evenings. Has got a moderately big pool, with a separate space for kids. There is an outdoor kids play area that has a few slides. Also it has gym and a games area (Only table tennis and carroms though). Restaurant is good but the breakfast buffet has got only a few items. Also since it is located close to the NH, outside ambiance is not that delightful; except that from the pool area.

It is common that customers negotiates for better offers a response on time matters which adds value on your services.. I would have chosen to stay even without additional discounts but since there is no reply I have opted for another.. hope to visit again & stay.. looking forward.. thanks

Nice clean rooms. They serve good food and complementary buffet breakfast was awesome with wide variety of foods. We enjoyed swimming pool and table tennis in the evening with misty climate. Only con is u don't get scenic view from ur room to look around but value for money. Much recommend for family to have relaxed weekend.

The worst resort i had ever been. Bad service. We had taken AC room. But the AC was not working at all. Room is very bad. Switches fan AC is not working properly. Every time we call for all. Not giving proper food, restaurant was not working. We had to go outside for food. Very much disappointed!
